It was a little flimsier than I expected. I had to add a 2x2 piece of wood to the bottom on the rear side in order to stabilize it better th-cam.com/users/postUgkxXTh-lz-8W6GcB219vTLp27-MxbZYObBX . It is also starting to bow a little at the outer wall ( I've had it up for about 6 months), I've already had a shelf tumble down because of the bow and the fact that the little shelf brackets are quite short. I went out to home depot and got some longer ones so that the shelves don't tumble down again. Overall, it looks very nice for the price and it holds a lot ( I use it as a pantry). I am very satisfied with my purchase. I just strongly suggest reinforcing it before putting it up.
After watching numerous Cabo ER builds on YT, this is by far the best looking I have seen! This is fine cabinetry, and I’m impressed with the confidence of your build. It did not appear that you were making it up as you go.
I didn't even miss the mindless explanation of what you were doing. I could tell what you were doing at every step because your process is so streamlined! Great video! (also, the pocket hole station is awesome!)
Excellent work, very enjoyable watching your build and love the woodgrain hearing protection! A few questions ... what did you use to sketch and label your vanity? What's the dolly thing on the floor? I didn't see you make the drawer boxes and they look great ... did you buy them premade somewhere? I love the cup hinge drill machine ... where did you get the jig for drilling the screw holes? I'm always tearing up my jeans ... what kind of work pants are those? I'm tiling my bathroom and will make the vanity after ... I'm going to put the bull nose tile as floorboard around the bathroom but this means the vanity will butt against it and have a gap to the wall ... should I build the vanity first instead and then finish the tile around it or should I have the gap so a future person can swap a different vanity if they want?
Love watching your videos...I have learned a lot! I hadn't thought of making the shelf sit higher than the face frame but it makes total sense now as I see your video. How did you finish that edge of the plywood?
Just found your channel. Thanks for the great videos. Appreciate the details of each step. Can you share your source for the drawers? When I have looked into prefinished drawers, they are almost $200-300 each. Thanks!
What are those orange components you screwed to the bottom of the drawers? And what are they used for? I've seen other videos using such but have never seen those prior. Send link to purchase too please. Thanks
Philipe. This inspires me to build one for my bathroom. How did you stain the wood. I'm assuming you sprayed it. I like the color. What is the name, and what kind did you use? How many coats? Thank you for your contribution
Hi Phil, on some of your videos the comment section is turned off. I was wondering if you could list the Blum slides and hinges you use. You mentioned in one of your videos, you use a spacer block when using 1 1/2 face frames to offset the 3/4 inch. Thanks paul
That was amazing, I need you to build me a bathroom vanity. Do you ship to other states? You vanity will defiantly hold up better than these particle board cabinets.
I have a question about the inside of the door cabinet please. Looks like the bottom is a piece of 3/4" finished plywood with a trim of Maple? How high does it overlap the outside frame. Is this acting as a door stop? Thanks.
I think you talking about the bottom above the drawers under the sink ! 3/4 “ it does act like a door stop and is easier to clean the inside of the cabinets without a leap there . Cheers
Question: what are the legs holding up the vanity? I see the 4 legs on the corners and then a couple that run the depth of the vanity. Are those permanent?
Great observation , because I use Blum hinges and the drilling pattern is slightly different and won’t work ! So I use the 35mm cup which is the same and use the Blum inserta jog to drill the holes for the hinge inserta flip down . 👍
Hey Philipe great vanity and video. I’m going to use it as a guide to build mine. Quick question. Before you screw everything together, I notice you use your nail gun. It’s that just a pin nailer or what size nails are you using so they don’t come through the faces? Tks
Hi Patrick Thanks for watching, I used 3/4” pins , my drawer boxes are 5/8 thick so it goes in just 1/8 to 3/16 just to temporarily secure it and screw the drawers. Cheers
Fred Garmon hi Fred is 1 3/4 because of a1/4” scribe that comes off during installation just in case the floor is off level and wall is out of plum . All cabinets the touch walls I make it bigger , I have had walls 1/2 off plum in the past . Cheers
Hi there, is the molding you are using inside the panel rabbeted or not? Did you make it or buy it? if you bought it was is the make and number? Thanks Dan
Dan Piekarek hi Dan the molding I used is called Verona , it is not rabbeted is just applied to a shaker style door . The trim is very common in the door industry . Thanks for comments
@@philipedocarmo Love your videos! I'm going to try to do a 49" version of this to fit in my man cave (as my wife puts it) / workshop bath. Do you have a link where I could purchase the plans? Thanks!
@@philipedocarmo Thanks for your response, I’m working on creating a template as we speak. if you ever make these plans available I would definitely purchase them. I want to give this a go personally.
Hi there. Love your work! I saw in the comments that you may be willing to sell some plans or drawings. I'd love to ask a few more questions about that if ya have the time!
Hi Amy Sure could you send me an email 📧 address so I could get in contact with you ? Or if the question is simple enough I’ll just answer through here . Cheers
and just incase your busy, ill try to reduce it to just this lol. How would you envision a matching surround for a large soaker with display shelves at both ends. i love your vison on this and would buy any plans or drawings

I noticed your AMAZING economy of motion. One of the true marks of true master craftsmen is efficiency of effort and absolute confidence. Bravo.
Would you consider posting a detailed cut list of all the components?
Inspirational to say the least, very masterfully done
Amazing work. Love how you built the decorative frame for the whole carcas. Would love to see what your plans look like! Amazing work!

Parabéns, vc tem um dos, se não o melhor método de produção que vi no youtube, principalmente da gringa, muito eficiente.
This is fascinating. What an art!
Really cool. Thanks for sharing - I’ve started to research how to build a vanity myself, and yours looks awesome.
Christophe Loyce glad you liked pal . Cheers
Came out amazing!!! Great job!!!
Philipe I enjoy watching your videos, did you put feet on the back of this vanity
....did I miss how you made the drawers? I have re-watched and still can't find where you put them together with the dovetails and all.

Hi Phillipe just wondering what did you use to cut the miters for the trim on the doors? Thanks sir youre killing it ^-^
Данное изделие - произведение искусства! Очень стильное и красивое!
I have a feeling that you would have a great many more views if you included a voice-over explaining what you are doing.
I think you are correct . 👍 will do
I have a feeling that you're right. Also please explain what materials you chose and why.
Agreed. Although very helpful, it’s more of a demo than a how-to. Can’t wait to see more!

Wow, amazing job
Love it! How thick is the face frame material? 3/4"?
1” thick for frames and doors . Cheers

Bro that’s absolutely great
Philipe, what type/brand of hinges do you use for face frame cabinets?
Hi Nancy
I use blum hinges for inset door application ! I’ll check on the model number . Cheers
Amazing!
Thank you a lot for sharing.
Great video. It was just a pleasure to watch. Smashing that sub button right now!
bloody beautiful
I have a few questions is the frame work 3/4 inch thick and how thick is the drawer fronts? I'm assuming 1.5 inch
I’m assuming you talking about the rail of the drawer ! Yes I think it was 1.75 and the thickness of the doors and drawers are 1” thick . Cheers
Love the hardware you're using, looks solid and smooth. Any info on it?
Now that's a joiner!!!!!!

Question: what are the legs holding up the vanity? I see the 4 legs on the corners and then a couple that run the depth of the vanity. Are those permanent?
Maciel Mustiga great question Maciel ! No , those are temp legs since the legs are finished so it doesn’t damage during transport! Cheers
Looks like you are using a Grass drilling fixture for the hinges, why not change the head on the machine to do all 3 holes for the hinges at once?
Great observation , because I use Blum hinges and the drilling pattern is slightly different and won’t work !
So I use the 35mm cup which is the same and use the Blum inserta jog to drill the holes for the hinge inserta flip down . 👍

Hvlp gun , and the paint was Ben Moore stain and clear lacquer . Cheers

Hi Philipe - Looks great!! Wondering why the size of the right side of the face frame leg is 1 3/4 and the left is 1 1/2?

Hi, I had a question regarding the lower arches and how you were able to cut those?

SuperRE68 I use birch wood for all my drawers. Cheers
Cotton silk🤣
