Easy way of presenting - different types of flowers with leaves(lotus, sunflower, Jasmin, lavender..) - small hut / house - different fruits ( berries 🍒🍓🍑🍊) - different backgrounds in watercolor - water, sea wave, river scenery Suggestion you would consider By the by - you are great watercolor painting teacher I would like to follow and admire🌹
I like the idea of going through the seasonal changes, I am beginning to shiver, lol, since I live 30 miles from the beach in N Ca. snowy paintings make me cold.😜
I love this painting, so so cold!!!. I live 30 miles from the beach in N Ca. The ideas your followers suggested sound wonderful. Seasonal changes would be great, but whatever you paint, I’m there!!. ❤
I found this video to be extremely helpful and very easy to follow. I've been doing watercolor for a while but, always have trouble with doing a background wash, without it going all over the place! Thank you for this very informative tutorial.
I DID enjoy this! love seing how the paining changes from the basic beginnings to the end result! Always a treat! and learning soooo much from your videos!
Absolutely beautiful!😀❤️ I just want to thank you for inspiring so many of us! I could sit and watch you paint for hours and hours! Thank you so much for all that you do, I absolutely love your channel!😊❤️👍🏼🖌️
Love this painting & really appreciate all of your tutorials. ❤. I would love to see tutorials with beautiful layers of mountains with a colorful sky, landscapes with an interesting home on them, park scenes for any & all seasons. Thank you!
Great instructions with the details! I paused several times and now redoing it from the start. The hard part was getting the blend on the background trees. Maybe I didn’t add a enough water to my paper . Thanks for your great video! Joan
I love this, thank you. I bought some Derwent Graphitint watercolour paints, and Derwent Pastel watercolours, a while ago, but haven't really done anything with them. I keep thinking that the Graphitint set would really lend itself to mountainscapes, but would love to see a tutorial on just how to build that up? 🙏💖
Your videos are so helpful Julia. I think it would be really nice to start with a shot of the finished painting as you introduce the video, cement in our minds where we are going. I forget after only seeing the thumbnail before I clicked on the video. Just a suggestion and thank you for considering.
i so love this. what my comment is- is really a request for all beginner tutorials…we dont see your pallets & amount of water or pigment which is correct for each part of the picture. As a real beginner i find this is where i know i have to learn to control the water myself, but knowing how much pigment each artist is picking up on their brush would lend so much to our education! my observation and wish, anyway🤷🏻♀️ its all a learning experience, its individual i understand. and i thank you for sharing. i am so excited to try this!
Oh I so wish I could include the pallet because I do understand how helpful that can be! But I don't have a wide angle camera so the actual painting would be super zoomed out!
I love this! It got chilly here in Florida so I think I'm gonna work on this today! Not sure what to suggest for new tutorial idea...have a look round Pinterest? Lately I've been looking an awful lot at African sunsets-dunno if that helps?
I love your attention to detail, Julia. It inspires me because I'm the same way and I'm learning more and more from you. I really love your winter scenes - they look very real and pictureque. I've always love black and white too. How long have you been painting? Your artwork is beautiful!
PS, I'm new to watercolors, well, painting period. Your tutorials are so helpful with ideas, tips, tricks, the gamut. I really appreciate your work. My Mother was artist as is my older sister. I just never thought I had what takes, still not sure. lol
Guys, I'm running out of painting inspiration lately so please comment some things you'd like to see painted in the coming weeks!

Maybe the same scene through the seasons, or staying with winter, maybe skaters on a frozen pond
I like the idea of going through the seasonal changes, I am beginning to shiver, lol, since I live 30 miles from the beach in N Ca. snowy paintings make me cold.😜
My porch ?
How about a winter cabin in the snow by the lakeside. Add some golden light in the windows and smoke from the chimney. Footpath?
You inspired me to paint this with the horses. As my daughter is having a lot of dental surgery and I will make her a card
Such a nice little gift!
I’d love to see more simple landscapes with figures in them. Or just how to add figures to a landscape.
Ooo not my forte but I'm definitely willing to give it a shot!
Good job, as usual, Julia! The horses are very cool. The first one was one of those happy accidents that Bob Ross used to talk about. Koodos!
I've never actually watched a bob ross tutorial! But yes, lots of happy accidents :)
J ai pris plaisir à refaire votre tuto 🧑🎨👌
Lovely work! I'd like to see some city scapes... domed buildings, cars, traffic lights, and crowds of people.🙂
Oo yikes can't promise this as I'm more nature themed. Perhaps in the future
Absolutely stunning
:)
Fantastic painting. I thought, ohhhh, a church at the end of the lane, or a woman in red. My mind had fun 😀❤
Both great ideas!!
I did mine without the people…my people needs more work…right now I am using your teaching for plain landscape….love your work it’s great!
Wonderful!
just beautiful now if only I could draw lol
I can't draw well either! Painting is so different
Thank you I’ve never done a monochrome painting it was lots of fun I added two tents and a fire pit at the front as my horses looked deformed lol. ❤😊
LOL! I love covering up mistakes with other things - I bet yours looks fabulous and cozy

Love this painting & really appreciate all of your tutorials. ❤. I would love to see tutorials with beautiful layers of mountains with a colorful sky, landscapes with an interesting home on them, park scenes for any & all seasons. Thank you!
Great suggestion! I did just paint a mountain scene that will be released in the coming weeks.
Love your lessons. Thank you❤
Glad you like them!
Great instructions with the details! I paused several times and now redoing it from the start.
The hard part was getting the blend on the background trees. Maybe I didn’t add a enough water to my paper .
Thanks for your great video!
Joan
It helps to tilt your paper upside down! Also I've seen people using a mist bottle to keep moisture
Por favor mas montañas con nieve, y mas detalladas. Las sombras,, con casas , ríos ,,

I keep thinking that the Graphitint set would really lend itself to mountainscapes, but would love to see a tutorial on just how to build that up? 🙏💖
I'm not familiar with that watercolor paint brand/type. But a mountainscape tutorial is coming next week ;)
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊

Thanks for the suggestion!
It's wonderful. I might have painted the hoof prints of the horses. Which paper didi you use in the video?
100% cotton paper by arches I believe
Nice! The one thing that needs to be there and is missing are tracks in the snow, can not walk on snow without leaving tracks
Many have pointed this out, I totally forgot to add them
I LOVE how you made him look like he was on a horse by accident 😂 we both said it at the same time lol another beautiful painting.
Haha, happy mistakes!

Can you blow dry or just let dry naturally? Love your work!❤
I always blow dry, I just find with blow drying, the paper curls more so you have to flatten with a book after.
Could you please say what size paper and also type of paper. Ty..love your tutorials
100% cotton paper, approx 2x3
I love this! It got chilly here in Florida so I think I'm gonna work on this today! Not sure what to suggest for new tutorial idea...have a look round Pinterest? Lately I've been looking an awful lot at African sunsets-dunno if that helps?
Sunsets are so beautiful and I will definitely paint more for the summer but I'm trying my best to stick to the season :)
I love your attention to detail, Julia. It inspires me because I'm the same way and I'm learning more and more from you. I really love your winter scenes - they look very real and pictureque. I've always love black and white too. How long have you been painting? Your artwork is beautiful!
Im glad you enjoy the tutorials! Ive been painting for years
I am having trouble painting branches and getting them thin enough. May I ask what brush you are using for the thinner branches ?
PS, I'm new to watercolors, well, painting period. Your tutorials are so helpful with ideas, tips, tricks, the gamut. I really appreciate your work. My Mother was artist as is my older sister. I just never thought I had what takes, still not sure. lol
I love my 0000 brush for fine details - it's linked in the description :)
I don’t have good luck with bleeding my paint. Is your paper smooth or rough
Its 100% cotton paper
Used Paine grey?
I threw the name card out
What so you do with all these lovely little paintings? 😊
They are sitting in a box collecting dust! Birthday cards I will gift :)
You forgot the horses footprints in the snow
I know! *cries* Luckily you can add them to your painting
Hot Air Balloons, Whimsical animals
A whimsical flamingo may be coming your way soon :)
