Yes and no … I would be as angry but when you think about it. Bullying a kid into correcting his/her behaviour is no different than bullying someone to get what you want . It sends a counterintuitive message that hurts everyone Kids this young need tough love, yes - but more so proper guidance , education , and good role models - it’s not easy and I don’t think I could do it, but it’s what’s needed to correct the problem

I remember my mother stood up to my bully for calling me fat. I am so grateful for her. Nobody at my school really cared for me. My mom made the boy stop and he cried and apologized to me. He never bullied after that. Thank you Mom. And bless this father. He doing it right. Bullies are cruel and the parents of this bullies most of the time don't want to accept that their children are bad so they don't discipline them. TEACH YOUR KIDS RIGHT.
I raised my son's to be protectors not bullies. I always taught them that's not cool or funny to laugh or talk about anybody because how they dress or how they look or act. Everybody is different and unique in there own special way. Just because someone is less fortunate in life doesn't make anyone better then them. It's a parents job to protect there kids as long as we're living. Doesn't matter from whom, a parents job is never completely done.

Personally I would have looked into the possibility of taking out a private prosecution for assault against the bully's parents; given the very high level of damages awards in US courts, I guarantee every other parent of a bully would keep their obnoxious little brat chained up in the basement after that; some nuts do need a sledgehammer to crack them.
