Braamspunt, a beach in Sruiname ? is a Nature Reserve located in the district of Commewijne .
This region is home to 5 of the 7 species of sea turtles world wide .
In Suriname we mainly see the ,Green sea turtle, Olive Ridley and the leatherback sea turtle.
Braamspunt is an important nesting ground of these three species therefore attracting a lot of tourists.
But the nests are often plagued by human activities such as egg poaching.

I was on the northern shore of s.america where the water was milkshake zero clarity. I've seen that u have abt 6inch of clarity here & I can see from ur drone footage where the darker water meets the blue ocean. Then further south of the coast it gets green.

Een van de weinige echte zandstranden van Suriname. Mooie lokatie die relatief weinig bezocht wordt door mensen. De meeste stranden bestaan voornamelijk uit slib dat aanspoelt vanuit de zee, en er een modderstrand van maakt. De filmer adviseert om niet het strand te bezoeken wanneer de zon volop schijnt, want je huid zal dan per seconde donkerder worden. Een nogal opvallend en "gekleurd" advies. :)

tbh Suriname is not very popular when it comes to beaches but i do think that Galiba is the best one .Galiba has an indigenous community and you can spot a lot more wildlife.

Is een populaire broed plaats voor de zeeschildpadden dus een ontspanning oord van maken zo het proces kunnen verstoren .maar is een heel leuk plekje om een frisse bad te nemen
