Hi guys I'm thinking of getting this version. But then a friend has said he drove it before and found it a bit laggy. He says the engine is a bit undersized for a focus and is perfectly suited for a fiesta. Can you please shed some light as I'm a bit confused? Thanks
@@busyplayingames1238 it depends what you expect... In my opinion it's much better choice then previous NA engines good fuel economy ,the car much lighter with this engine plius it's turbocharger so you can always remap ecu and get more power .... Only one question how reliable it will be ....
@@busyplayingames1238 the 125ps EcoBoost is pretty nippy in mine, you need to put it into the sport mode, which does make a difference and also to the handling, the only thing i don't like is that its not very economical if you drive it hard but way more fun!
Great video! I have just bought one of these and it's my first time with the 1ltr econoost. Tell me, are they always quite 'grumbly' engines? Almost sounds like a diesel at times! Cheers.

I can confirm that's true, mind you mine is a 2012 Focus 1L but sometimes on idle it sounds like a diesel lol 🤣
