When you plugin your earphone in your mobile then your earphone's mic can communicate with mobile to receive and record voice or noise , earphone's mic is so sensitive grater then mobile's mic , earphone's mic can catch all the low noises and voice near by it . that's it . I hope Understand what i want to say ...

This won't lag. Its just a condenser mic. If there's any lag it will be due to the sound card its hooked up to.

Make sure ya leave enough wire on the Plug & Mic that you can simply twist the wires together;^D. You don't have to de-solder...
