also, despite only watching a film like every birthday, Klaus is a remarkable work of creativity and I derive a lot of inspiration from it. i think this is the first time a film has truly made me wonderstruck with awe

Game dev here who watches like 1 film every year - this was actually really, really awesome advice. I was actually thinking about the process of how to portray characters and the parallels to acting are profound. so you need to put yourself *in* that character's head and represent not just their thoughts but also more subtle social cues like emotion and thinking itself... which is genius to me. i really mean it this is amazing advice - thanks

I tend to do sketches of what I want, but more often than not, I do try and act the scene in front of a mirror, just as Sergio.
