There's something about gas stations that put me at ease. They are like the save rooms of the road. A place where you can stop, rest a bit, refuel, grab a snack and drink, before heading out again.

This reminds me of something I remember about 8 years ago. I was working night shift in a warehouse. Well, one night, around 4:30am, it was raining, I stopped at a gas station to fill up the truck I was driving back then and I also decided to grab some snacks as well. Plus, I had a couple of friends who were working there, too. We'd chat as I do whatever I do. Just friendly conversations. Well, as I went back to the truck and started pumping the gas, I started hearing these weird ass noises sort of echoing all around the area. Creaking sounds and strange moaning. Then what scared me the most, and I'll never forget it. A very deep howling sound that sounded like it was about a mile away. Even though, they don't exist but I swear to this day, it sounded like the howl of a werewolf. But it couldn't have been. So when I was done pumping the gas, I put the pump back up, closed the tank, I hopped into the truck and hauled ass outta there. When I was about maybe 3 miles away, I called my buddies from the gas station and told them to be careful if they have to go outside for any reason because the noises I heard. About an hour later, I was at home in my room watching a couple of youtube videos and eating the snacks I bought, trying to forget about what I experienced. Then my phone rang and it was my friend from the gas station. He said they did go outside to check and see if they could hear anything based on what I mentioned, but they didn't hear anything. Just the calming splashing sounds of the rain. So I was thinking it was probably something only in my head. Because tiredness and exhaustion can cause confusion in the mind and make you hear and see things. So that's very likely what it was, my mind playing tricks on me. I've been back to the gas station many times since then and I never heard those eerie sounds again.

Dude i don't know you but ii trust 100% of what you say. Never experienced anything like that but when i was 26 , living in london, i had the unpleasant feeling that i was being watched and followed. Tx god it only lasted a month or so.hugs and stay safe.
@@desindingtv I use to work at a gas station like on the ridge near Bakersfield. If you follow the historic route 66 between California and Texas, you will find a lot of desolate, abandoned restaurants and gas stations out in the desert. It looks like the Fallout game out there.
@@newguy90 perfect setting for a zombie apocalypse survival movie. For some reason Stone Temple Pilots, the band, and a desert road. Just fit together so perfectly. That zombie howl in. The background is so eerie and so intriguing… it sounds so far away. Makes me wonder where was this coming from…. Maybe from the mountains?
normally i find the RE ambiences relaxing, but this one feels more unsettling than usual. shame i did not take the time to take it in in my first playthrough.

you can just hear the wind carrying the zombie's screams through the rain

The original meaning of liminal space
Jack off in the bathroom real quick
This is one gas station that would put you at anything but ease if you went inside 😂
@@ChestersonJack I don't think that's what a liminal space is

That's a good story. Sometimes when I'm tired or depressed I hear like someone is calling me from far away.

that sounds terrifying! but interesting story
Long boring story with a bad ending
you know what ironic? it's a relaxing ASMR from the most unrelaxing video game of 2019
Yes! I’d love to work at this Gas Station.
But only on rainy days.
Days with less zombies would probably be nice too.
*zombie walks up to the counter groaning*
Me: "can i help u"
Zombie: "*coughs* yah i was just wondering if u got any bacon strips and beer"
I wouldnt mind working here on rainy days too. At night i mean haha

Sleep on the roof.
