When u know his story, how he was strongly discouraged to pursue music, how he was pressured by his closest people to give up on it and took different, more safe and acceptable life path , when he loves music so much. When u know that he was so alone and lost that he thought about giving it all up after years and years of struggling, starving, having depression, this song and passion u hear listening to it, hits u like a hammer to the chest. Even after countless time of listening to this song, i still get chills every time. Just thinking about what a loss it would be if he would have given up on his dream makes me cry.
Suga's solo is my favorite of all their solos... when i first listened to this song, he became my bias immediatly

Suga makes me cry in a very unique way. Throughout the song, I get emocional. My eyes slowly fill with tears, I keep appreciating but my tears DO NOT fall until the end of the song. He triggers something inside me. I love him too much.

He could have written a song about anything, and he wrote a song about his first love, a piano. My heart :(

Yoongi is such a talented and amazing person. The deepness of his voice really lures you into a pit of emotions. I can speak korean so I know what he's saying, but there's lots of people who don't know what he's saying yet still feel the powerful sentiment in his voice. Like it's coming from his heart. And they also feel it, that's just how the human brain works with emotions. He conveys such personal messages and amazing words of showing how he feels. It's amazing how talented this guy must be to be able to put his tremendous feelings in such small words and still gives you an clear if not perfect view of his perspective. I love this man to death. I swear he drives me crazy 😭❤ but what I love most about him is how hard he worked after the people who you would've thought would give him more support discouraged him to a point of him almost entirely giving up. He starved, suffered depression and self harmed. My poor baby :( he was in a polluted state of mind, so bad, he had to go to a psychologist. I'm glad my baby decided to keep fighting and get his way to the top. I can't ever imagine bts without our precious suga ❤ he really is an inspiration

I'm so happy you reacted to this. And it left me speechless the first time I read the lyrics too! I absolutely adore this song. Suga is such a good story teller, even without knowing the lyrics this song emotes so much emotion that you know it has to have an important meaning. And this song is so simple yet so powerful. The way it builds, climaxes and then ends just emphasizes the lyrics. And the message is so pure and raw and passionate and beautifully indicative of his relationship with music and in a few words tells so much about Yoongi as a person.
