Losing is fine, even not maxing out his traces because he didn't like the character or was not gonna be using them although a shitty ass argument was fine tbh. The real problem here is his attitude man. Bro refused to take accountability and say "Bro, I messed up". That's the real problem here. He has an ego problem.

Don't forget him saying he was going to go all out and then proceeding to cut corners on traces, levels and lcs when he damn well had the resources for them. Like this is a tournament with money at stake, there's no excuses for half assing when you've promised to give it your all. If he didn't want to put in all that effort he could've (a) admitted he just wanted to play for fun or (b) not joined the tournament at all

I’m a ZZZ player but I sincerely hope he doesn’t make content on this game. We lack content on TH-cam about this game, in comparison with the two other mainstream hoyo games.
But I feel he can’t gather anything good for ZZZ’s community.
I just want to say that Destiny/Moon knew that Iyo and Pokke would likely ban their Boothill lightcone so they had prepared a 4 STAR LIGHT CONE beforehand, solely for the tournament. Yet Iyo cant max fkin Silverwolf, Huohuo and Sparkle traces. Just saying.
when youre not a whale, traces are the only thing you can give youre character to be stronger outside of relics.

The thing that bothers me the most is the way he acted afterward, like there is no way he didnt understand why pokey was so mad and made every effort to deflect and try to die on the hill that no-one told him todo it or that it was okay. I mean if only he put as much effort into the team as he did into deflecting.
Iyo seems to be trapped in the nickel and dime mentality of a new player. If you've been playing since the games release then you should be maxing your characters levels and traces, only new players that need to farm literally everything need to think about how many resources they are using and grinding for, but after a certain point you can just max every new character you get. No excuses.
Stupid "drama" that could've just been easily resolved by Iyo coming in frame 1 after everything was shown and said "Mb Pokke, I forgot" or "That's on me, I should've double checked" or even "Hey sorry about that, I should've told you my traces weren't maxed, but I was gonna save stamina for Feixiao content." Then it wouldn't be as bad. Iyo did kind of apologize, but only after being put in a corner and felt like it was forced out of him.
Bottom line, completely understandable reaction from Pokke given the context and Iyo has no ground to stand on here. And this is coming from someone who's a CC, guidemaker and someone who spends a good chunk of money on this game. He can't take criticism whatsoever. Unfortunately, the latter gets lost on a lot of CC's in this space.
I think a lot of ppl who didn't already look down on Iyo due to prior... "dramas" within the gacha space, will definitely look down on him now.
Or just do what Pokke expected him to say "Pokke, I ain't trying hard this tournament." after being informed that Pokke will be doing his best and took the time to check whether Iyo will do the same. Pokke doesn't really mind if Iyo just told him he's not gonna try hard... but that kid Iyo said "Sure". That's betrayal.

I am someone who doesn't commit much in anything, reason why when it comes to do team activities be it tournaments or whatnot, if I can I try to go solo or not take part at all, I don't wanna disappoint anybody nor do I want to be disappointed by anybody.

It is straight up fact that leveling Traces gives you 100% value, and there's literally no downside to leveling them.
Besides the fact that Iyo has been in the spotlight numerous times now for presenting rather uncomfortable narcissistic traits and messages, one could argue that it's just not the right content or vibe for them. That I'd get.
But to be so ignorant to not even once use a "sorry" in his responses, back then, and again this time, just solidifies for me, sadly, that he seems rather disingenious and prettentious, and is not able to accept criticism in a space where he CONSTANTLY provokes the community with his downright stupid takes and behaviour
I do not understand why the space has become what it has become, and why people can't enjoy these games and characters without something f*cked up happening, or some random drama suddenly appearing to appeal to the mindless masses and milk every last ounce.
Although I *personally* do not enjoy Pokke's content as much as I used to, and I don't consume his content anymore, I totally side with him. I don't think he overreacted, or tried to stirr anything up. He is clearly pissed, and if I were him, I'd say even harder horrendous shit. As he said himself, he just wants to express his feelings on this situation, and I believe he did so very well in articulating himself calmly.
Judge by the comments of Iyo's friend and others, iyo just comfortable doing anything even if he hurt someone he can get away with it since has another friend that make him feel he does not do any mistake.

Only issue i have is that Iyo didn't seem to want to take accountability for messing up. Regardless the tournament had unfair advantages to certain teams & players with the rules that were in place. Other players that are more budget friendly were at a huge disadvantage against players that have spent money no matter how you spin it. Higher traces for budget players only slightly even the odds but who's to say that the other player who spent money also leveled up their traces as well.
I'm just going to be straight up with this, especially with the fact that the dude is a fucking guide maker, how in the hell are you keeping your limited 5 star characters at 75/80 and their LC's 10 levels below the cap? Does this dude have any idea how many missing stats that is? Especially when it's across multiple characters on a single team? This isn't even just about the non-maxed traces either, If you are doing that shit with a team of multiple characters it's going to be extremely noticeable and is easily the difference between finishing a cycle and not finishing a cycle.
Huohuo's ult trace is quite literally one of the most important traces to max out in the game since it can mean the difference between getting an extra ult off vs not getting one. Don't even get me fucking started on that Sparkle, That build on his Sparkle is so incredibly dogshit, he's not even hitting the required speed threshold let alone the whopping 140% crit damage WITH her signature LC is actually insane. Having a sparkle with her sig LC at anything under 200% C.dmg is laughable.
I think the only way to avoid experiencing frustrating outcomes like this in the future, the people hosting should be doing character profile checks for every participant. The fact that there was money on the line for this makes this even crazier

that is true, i have 180 cdmg and 161 spd on my sparkle that i got 2 weeks ago without sig. i counted and you should get 170 cdmg on s1 sparkle with just a cdmg body, no cdmg substats idk wtf iyo was cooking
I lost respect for Iyo and unsubscribed from his channels a little over a month ago. Dude refuses to take responsibility for any of his mistakes, blames others for his problems, acts like a victim constantly, and has some ridiculous ego problems that border on delusional. This situation is just a very clear and obvious sign of all of it in full force. Wasn't even a major drama and instead he blew it up way worse by not even just saying "Sorry, i wasn't taking this as seriously as you and should have thought more about it." If he at least apologized, I'd say it's all cool and could be wiped away. But instead he blamed chat, Pokke, the people helping him with testing, the draft, and everyone but his own choices. He is a tool and really doesn't deserve respect in any community. Thinks he is the god of gacha gaming and fighting games, when really he is too naive to understand half of what he talks about
I don't know how the participant/member are decided, but if they did not use qualifier system, It's the fault of the organizer to invite a noob to the tournament. And they should compensate Pokey because of the disadvantages they've caused him.

Full disclosure, that 1,817 reserver trailblaze power could have been 5,451. Over 2k in Fuel. He could have built Feixiao 3 times over with that much stamina if he was logging in. 1800 sounds like alot but it's a third of what it could have been if he has been using it 😂.

I hate farming traces so much.. but I dont play tournaments where a teammate relies on me. I pull on a character every few months, farm them until i can use them for a few months, and dip when theres no waifus. The standard here is different.

Depending on the tournament, there should be a rule against using characters, equipments, etc. that are not up to a certain level. So the malicious intent of playstyle could atleast be reduced. ...maybe. The way a person acts should also be investigated, like with how it ended up where Iyo didn't try to use Silverwolf's skill to attack for the final hit, for an example.
As organizer(s), they should, I think, try and give the audience the best TRUE entertainment they've gone there for.
