@@ReefDudes Yea bro it just adds to the quality. Even when you tour other peoples tanks. Its a must lol!! If you dont mind me adding, even when your sitting in front of the tank doing a general shot a nice broadcast light to brighten up the overall shot will just add to your quality vids. OG
How you like the GHL P4, it seems kind of slow or is the just wifi connection speed? How you do you like it compared to the Apex, especially for day to day use as well as advance use like setting up a CalRx?
Apex interface is more snappy than Ghl. Apex uses aws where as Ghl serves it up directly. I was going out to the Internet then back in to it rather then connecting local which is why it was a bit slower. They both have their pro / cons so it’s a toss up
What is aws? Yeah would you ever do a long term review of both since you have used both on your systems compared to others that just “test” it and give their opinion but no real long term use.
I think you were mistaken when setting the ph hysterisis. You put .30, which means you will swing 6.7 - to 6.4. I think you want 0.03. :) Thanks for the video!
I’m not sure if I saw pinpoint, Neptune and ghl all together there 🤣🤣🤣 you’re amazing!!!!!
I was just looking into calcium reactors. Thanks for sharing all the information! I look forward to your next video!
Happy to hear it helped! let me know if you have any Q on them.
Thanks! Very informative!
Sup Dudes good work as usual. I do think you should always always have a light on when you shoot video under any tank.

I agree ( was thinking the same thing when editing!)

@@jasony816 AWS - Amazon web servers - basically on demand hosting :) Ii can do a controller talk stream one of these days :)
Hey Dev, I’d love to see you do a video on your kalk reactor and how you programmed the coding.
Not sure if I showed that in the last kalk one or not. If not I can share that

i just checked the ghl graph and its goes from 6.7 > 6.86
Yes. Hysteresis of 0.3 means a 0.15 swing either side of the nominal value.
@@MrHCMSS Looking at the PH charts its going from 6.7 to 6.85
@@ReefDudes because it’s set to down control
@@MrHCMSS Good to know! thanks! ill play with that :)
Couldn't stop looking at the missing receptacle wall plate :)
I need a green one to blend in lol
What media do you suggest to use for the reactor??
on my Big tank i have two little fishies reborn in the main chamber then brightwell lazarus (smaller media) in the second chamber
@@ReefDudes is the reborn still good since they changed it??
@@avelinofernandezjr.9341 I haven't purchased it since it "change" so im not 100% sure
@@ReefDudes ok thanks.
I think a calcium reactor will be the next big upgrade. Maybe next year though. I forgot how cool this reactor looks.
It does look pretty sweet! Should help keep things stable!
Whoever gave a thumbs down must be high and thought it was thumbs up...Another informative video Dev💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💯💯💯💯
Thanks! I appreciate it :)
How is the versa working for you? I’ve been through 2 in 10 months.
How come? they are awesome. love them. no issues with mine
@@ReefDudes first one stopped turning second one leaked but lasted for 9 months
You can replace the tubing in it. I replace the continuous duty ones (calcium reactor / auto water changes ones ) every 4-5 months
Someday people will be able yo buy those Versas.
Hopefully some day soon! I wouldn’t mind 2 more
idk why there are no PID controllers + needle valve for the CO2 eventually it wouldn't need to use the solenoid at all
There is the carbon doser which is the closest thing
You should sell me one of those eco-tech versas lol
Precious! Haha
