For us Taehyung biased, his Tata Mic face is the cutest and innocent and shy... not creepy. Gone are the days of his goofyness and mischievousness as he got more mature. The Tata mic face replaced that as he became introvert after so many trials in his life such as the loss of his grandparents.
Still I think his goofyness comes back sometimes when he's having a lot of fun with the members, them being caotic together it the most fun thing to watch including Tata mic face
He did it that one time in run bts and Army thought it was cute, so he kept doing it. Even the members tease him when he does it. Meaning, it's not something he regularly does in normal life. Firstly, you're not a psychiatrist, secondly you don't know him that well to diagnose him. Taehyung doing the "Tata mic face" started as something cute when he was cheating to get a mic gift, he made a very cute and innocent face saying "tata mic". After sometime he started doing it subconsciously when he gets really nervous or shy, sometimes he does it just for fun, but most of the time is because he need time to think or calm himself. The members find this really cute and funny too, sometimes they just notice how Tae just do it without thinking and it's very cute. I never find it creepy, but sometimes without context it can be I guess🤷🏻♀️
Tae is like the baby of BTS and has a super sweet innocent side per what BTS members have said. The the Tata mic face comes out Tae is normally being cute kind of kid like to get his way or is confused like Kookie pouts Tae Tata's and he has been doing a version of this since the beginning.

Tae unconsciously uses Tata Mic face when whining, asking for favor and when he is role playing. If you've been an older army, you have witnessed him doing this ever since he debuted. It was only during the pandemic where it became more noticeable because he used it to his advantage. We then called it a "face that you could never say no" ☺️

Ben, I really like your videos but you need to know Taehyung better, he's not only handsome and cool, he isn't always savage or serious either, actually Taehyung is one of the sweetest idols, he's not only kind but also very very innocent, Jimin himself explain it very detailed, because he just has a innocent soul and he keeps his inner child... Taehyung has a lot of aegyo, he's playful and really like a maknae most of the time. I think your perception of Taehyung is just a TikTok edits thing, because he's always acting very humble and sweet, not cool and manly all of the time.
Thank you for saying this. I agree 100%. I usually enjoy Ben's videos but I feel like he gets Taehyung wrong 90% of the time. He only really knows the sexy/cool side of Taehyung but there is so much more to him - Tae's so diverse and interesting...it's frustrating watching Ben miss the plot every time. I really think it's the videos he chooses to react to. The people who make them aren't Tae biased so they paint him the same way as the fandom/company does - as the endearing 3D weirdo of the group with little to no athletic ability that just happens to be oddly smart and comedically savage. Shared some great Tae-centric videos with Ben when he expressed an interest in learning more about Tae but I guess he didn't really care to dig that deep.
I enjoy some of Ben's videos but it's clear he only knows Tae and BTS from what he shares because his understanding is very limited. Reactors always take the "savage" videos as all there is to Taehyung, whereas in reality, they're compilations of occasions over many years and so totally not the whole Tae, which is a shame. Im a Tae biased and imma be honest, I've never found the Tata mic face in itself cute. I just kinda think its cute cuz its taehyung and a lot of times its kinda sweet, although there are a few time when I though it was a bit weird, not really creepy as you are saying though 😭

@@cosas_de_gatos i think they mean maybe because in more classic movies they are more animated body wise where it isn't as natural as a lot of acting today like today we go for more realism, back then it was more dramatic/performance driven (which isn't a bad thing btw) even in terms of voice most would put on a certain way of speaking so tae doing this he's more animated/extra more than it just looks natural though i do think it has become a more natural habit of his now (but we all pick up habits where we wouldn't do something naturally and then if becomes almost a part of you and you do it without thinking)

Btw Tata is his character in their cartoon bt21 every member has a character and taehyung's one is TATA so they made some stuffs out of these characters such as pillows plushies key holders mics... And when taehyung so that hobi won mang's mic (his character name) he wanted to have one also so he cheated and didn't gave them the card he had cuz it showed another present so ge Did that face and asked for tata mic and from that the TATA MIC FACE journey began and we love it so much 🥰💜💜💜💜

He do tata mic face ..when he is embarassing ...or he have to talk by himself he is shy person. This is his shy / awkward/ embrassi face.
It's like he has music in his head and is swaying to it. It definitely grabs your attention cause it looks cute and brings a smile to your face. I think he started using it after watching a Korean actor from old movies do it. (maybe I'm wrong ?) Some people talk with their hands and our Taetae uses the tata mic face.
