this is not true at all. RM's eyesight is very bad. even with glasses it can't be corrected enough for him to take drivers test. Look at some of his glasses, you can tell how bad his eyes are.

My sister is like RM. If she picks something up, she breaks it. If there’s a trash can on the floor, she trips over it. When she learned to drive, she hit other cars almost every day. For the sake of the world, it’s better to wrap RM in cotton wool and not let him near the kitchen knives or a steering wheel. Just let people like this be comfortable to read, write, speak about advanced topics, but don’t give them knives or steering wheels.
lol, my granddaughter is like RM, he is her bias so we can never let them meet for the worlds sake, the girl trips on nothing while walking, everyone that has tried to teach her to drive fears for others safety 😜. She’s smart, kind, and generous to a fault, but clumsy 🙈. 💜

I think it's because there can be so much going on in your brain, that there is no energy to spare on the more mundane things. In my case, I would never attempt to drive, because I know how easy it is to get lost in a thought or idea, and forget the rest of the world. If that happened when I was driving... I am also very clumsy... I'm almost 47 and I don't have a driver's license. I have zero peripheral vision on the left side of my face, I have to wear glasses because I'm myopic and my anxiety is through the roof! So no driving for me and I'm okay with it.

I don't have a license, either. Like RM, I'm incredibly clumsy....I can drive, but I don't. I get very anxious, and that could cause harm to others. Also, for me, when I originally took the test, it was just after my dad's death. I was stressed, grieving, and setting up my dad's service in the process. It was a difficult time, and after, it honestly wasn't something I focused on.

He has taken lessons before and I think at this point in time, he doesn't think it's necessary. He loves riding his bike, SK has some of the best subway/train systems in the world and BH gives them drivers when they need them. So to be honest, it's not a priority right now. He is clumsy and we don't know about his situational awareness and he does have vision issues but I don't think these are fully the reason. I really think it's because he doesn't have to right now so he spends his time doing other things he enjoys more.

I've been Army for 4 years, and I've havent heard of RM getting his license. He is accident prone. But i will have faith in him when he gets his license. I am adult Army. I worry about the guys enough already. I've definetely seen Jin and Jimin drive plus the ones you know about.
aww.. poor Joonie.. He's the only member who doesn't have a driver's license. They were teasing him that he should just stay inside for the world peace. That's why members can't also let him in the kitchen to cook, aside from he don't know how to cook, but because they're afraid Joonie would hurt himself if he use a knife or any sharp objects (I remember in one of their lives wherein Joonie was holding a knife and Jin was in panic mode and no members wants to get near him because of the way he holds the knife 🙈). But there's also an info before that Joonie has a really bad vision that's why he can't drive. They say that people at a genius level (which RM is) have trouble functioning in the day to day world. They are so curious and easily distracted. RM pretty much lives a structured life with BTS, dancing and singing. He has people to tell him where he needs to be at any given time of the day. Its the day to day things like cooking and driving that he has problems. RM is know as the "God of Destruction" because things just seem to fall apart in his presence. There are so many videos to prove this point. One stated the RM burned a pan but the meat was still raw. He had turned the flame all the way up. His logic....fire is fire. It is still hot and the flame was a pretty blue. That is the genius mind. We only see the trees in front of us, he sees the whole forest and everything in it.

There are so many things he breaks unintentionally, things just don't seem to go right when he is trying to do things like cooking and such. So it is safer for the world for him not to drive lol. Personally I wonder if it has something to do with his high IQ. There are a lot of people that are highly intelligent that can't tell the difference between their left and right, which is a very important thing when it comes to driving. You definitely need to know your right and your left.
Namjoon is lucky enough to live in a country and is rich enough where getting a driver’s license is not absolutely necessary. I honestly hate the assumption that having a license is a sign of maturity. If you live in places like New York City, Seoul, Tokyo, DC, Philadelphia, having a car can be exceptionally inconvenient for the most part. Let’s get away from the thought process that a driver’s license =being a mature adult. Namjoon and people like him should be seen as a mature adult because they’ve held jobs, have homes, and can support the people dear to them.

I'm sure he failed the driving test the first time, but we all know how busy BTS was back then, he honestly didn't have time to practice. The members said it is better for world peace that RM doesn't drive because he would get into car accidents. He would endanger himself or others, they say it as a joke but they are generally concerned because RM is super clumsy. I hope in 2023 he was able to practice during down time. I mean he's in the military now, he wouldn't be able to drive anything, let alone to work when he gets to that point after training.
Hey Ben 😀 There are two reasons that hinder the possibility of Namjoon getting his driver’s license anytime soon: 1) Namjoon has been suffering from both myopia and astigmatism (Both are eye conditions) and 2) He is really clumsy and prone to put himself and others in danger. He breaks things so often that everybody knows about it. Because of this two reasons Namjoon decided not to get a driver’s license. His clumsiness is well known and the reason for many insider jokes - He is called the "God of destruction" for a reason and there a videos about it - just search for it.
As of RM going into the military he does NOT have a license. RM has astigmatism, I have that, and it makes lights look like huge streaks, it is blinding. Maybe the military will make him get one LOL

aww.. poor Joonie.. He's the only member who doesn't have a driver's license. They were teasing him that he should just stay inside for the world peace. Namjoon is also known as the God of Destruction, because most of the things he touched breaks, he's that clumsy. That's why members can't also let him in the kitchen to cook, aside from he don't know how to cook, but because they're afraid Joonie would hurt himself if he use a knife or any sharp objects (I remember in one of their lives wherein Joonie was holding a knife and Jin was in panic mode and no members wants to get near him because of the way he holds the knife 🙈). But there's also an info before that Joonie has a really bad vision that's why he can't drive. If that's the case, he could maybe get eye surgery to correct it and maybe we can see a Joonie driving in one of their future video contents like Bon Voyage or In The Soop. 🙏😊
They say that people at a genius level (which RM is) have trouble functioning in the day to day world. They are so curious and easily distracted. RM pretty much lives a structured life with BTS, dancing and singing. He has people to tell him where he needs to be at any given time of the day. There are so many videos to prove this point. One stated the RM burned a pan but the meat was still raw. He had turned the flame all the way up. His logic....fire is fire. RM is the considered the God of Destruction and is the clumsiest member so he doesn't drive to keep accidents from happening from him being clumsy, imo lol. There are so many things he breaks unintentionally, things just don't seem to go right when he is trying to do things like cooking and such. So it is safer for the world for him not to drive lol. Personally I wonder if it has something to do with his high IQ. There are a lot of people that are highly intelligent that can't tell the difference between their left and right, which is a very important thing when it comes to driving. You definitely need to know your right and your left.
Namjoon is lucky enough to live in a country and is rich enough where getting a driver’s license is not absolutely necessary. I honestly hate the assumption that having a license is a sign of maturity. If you live in places like New York City, Seoul, Tokyo, DC, Philadelphia, having a car can be exceptionally inconvenient for the most part. Let’s get away from the thought process that a driver’s license =being a mature adult. Namjoon and people like him should be seen as a mature adult because they’ve held jobs, have homes, and can support the people dear to them.

I'm sure he failed the driving test the first time, but we all know how busy BTS was back then, he honestly didn't have time to practice. The members said it is better for world peace that RM doesn't drive because he would get into car accidents. He would endanger himself or others, they say it as a joke but they are generally concerned because RM is super clumsy. I hope in 2023 he was able to practice during down time. I mean he's in the military now, he wouldn't be able to drive anything, let alone to work when he gets to that point after training.

There are two reasons that hinder the possibility of Namjoon getting his driver’s license anytime soon: 1) Namjoon has been suffering from both myopia and astigmatism (Both are eye conditions) and 2) He is really clumsy and prone to put himself and others in danger. He breaks things so often that everybody knows about it. Because of this two reasons Namjoon decided not to get a driver’s license. His clumsiness is well known and the reason for many insider jokes - He is called the "God of destruction" for a reason and there a videos about it - just search for it.
You should also react to rm being the god of destruction ( he doesn’t have drivers license cuz he is very clumsy )

As of RM going into the military he does NOT have a license. RM has astigmatism, I have that, and it makes lights look like huge streaks, it is blinding. Maybe the military will make him get one LOL
