    games like this make me miss rookie and black justin... i miss the serve and kill style singles, those are way more fun to watch.
    i love it when migs hits a good spike or tavo left whip kills it, those plays are enjoyable to watch.
    The volleys though make me fall asleep.

    Next Level Serves and playing by Tavo....He really works on mastering the "over the short line" ace serve.

    Not currently playing any longer. I'm an old cat from Central Park courts back in mid late 70s, then mid late 80's. Military, drugs, life, all got in the way. I have much love for the game. And great admiration for today's players. Tavo is currently my favorite player. Tywan is a close second. Timbo, on the other hand.....well let's just not go there. I get the shady antics of competition, but some of these dudes are just desperate to get the upper hand. No pun intended. Out of all, Tavo is the one who plays with most honor. Using skills and not under handed schemes to win. Again, no pun intended. Keep rocking Viejo.

    Let's talk about Migz hitting the ball close to his body, which is legal play, but not when you lean towards the ball to blocked the play...🤔 timbo and gio be doing the same thing, A players, no need to do that.

    • @marcouzumaki7819
      @marcouzumaki7819 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea that should be a down if a player moves towards the ball or leans, but the player should be the one to call it wether if he wants to take the shot or the call.

    • @mlara03celtics

      All the A players do that man but they get away with it so what can you do but learn how to play the same way. I honestly just hit the angle away from them and dont give them the chance hit it close to them. Keep them on the move and they cant hide the ball.

  • @gusruiz4216
    @gusruiz4216 3 ปีที่แล้ว +23

    People still talking about how his gloves weren’t wet. Okay, they were moist. 🤣If they were dry the refs would have let him keep his glove on. Lmfao! I’m done with the haters and people who don’t know what they are talking about. If you know handball like I know it then you know when you serve the ball moist it drifts or dies out. That’s what happened for half of the game. Once he stopped serving the ball wet of course the game changed. We actually had a fair game and I showed ya who’s number 1. I train 5-7 days a week so there’s no need for me to be desperate. When y’all are home eating cakes and smashing ya ladies, I’m training. When y’all are partying and horsing around.. ninja me is training. Without fail my serve has set the tone best. My back in the day serve hovers right over the line so for u older guys that don’t see well I’m sorry you don’t get the pleasure to see this magical moment. 🐐 OUT!

      Not trying to take away anything from your commitment or skill level. Your serve is great when its on but I've seen others that are more effective with less effort. Your favorite serve also often puts you out of position for the return. IMO, if you used an overhand deep serve intelligently, you would, statistically increase your odds at getting many more set-ups, to crush with you great cross court left hand whip. As for the wet ball during this game, if you were able to show henry the proof and it was really established that the glove was wet, then I apologize for coming from left field, with my opinion. From home, on my couch, it seemed a bit shady. Sorry if I attacked you without having all the facts. Keep representing yourself and handball in the manner that you do, you're an intelligent humble and great ambassador for handball. I'm a fan, not a hater and I don't just throw around compliments. But I also will express my view, even if it ruffles some feathers. Peace and Love. BTW: I don't think anyone else on the planet can say that they bageled Rookie.

      @@mlara03celtics Nice, I love my cherished wins over top NYC handball players. I had wins over names like Rookie, Rojas, Reggie, Tyrone, Circa 92-94. Poor lifestyle choices interfered with me playing handball full time after 1994. Tavo's Bageling happens to be on Video and posted on youtube and done in a major tournament, no less. In this case because its Tavo, I give him some benefit of the doubt, but this fiasco of asking a ref to remove your opponents glove is petty and is not a good precedent.
