More things in the mounds include the black ice above the ymir teacher, king's niche and the tigers for easy legendary keys, plus an even better spot for iron are the cliffs around dirgewood. Also at Mek's, there are still the ophidian cache merchants for steelfire, alchemical base, gold and silver, but removing the oboli merchants was a shock with the release yesterday, since they were still in place throughout the beta client. Finally, not sure about the sobek armour set, picking up the smaller vanir camps for their medium and heavy sets sounds easier and doesn't take you out of the way to reach the mounds. For another early game alternative alrmour, the first lemurians in the sunken city drop their warrior armour (perfected medium with strength buff) and to repair it requires the recipe from the witch queen's throne, simple leather (from baby dragons, if like me, play you without a base).

@Darkcat FAST EARLY XP : I never tried this, but if you can bleed out \ gas the giant triple and get a few scraps of alchemical\insulated you can make black ice pickaxe and clean out the dungeon of black ice. With a star metal equiv tool you can do a 0-L60 run in probably hour1 on a server. I have not put effort in to a way to get early insulated+alchemical, but the black ice would be collected on the way. You need spiced food, available for trade from the free silver coins around sep in chests. I would also collect the alow from noob right after spawn.
This would be a very direct and focused 0-60lvl run and is not dependent on special events like the black blood. I imagine that hitting the chests at speed in mounds\highlands would give you the alchemical\insulated needed without even slowing down for combat. Also make sure you attune to at least a bracelet at warmakers on the way up as someone always has a mat room up at the giant cave to get back to sep and pick up the steel and stuff.
I used to just go kill birds, then apes, and never could stomach the fish trophy trick or tables, etc. This seems good as only people who can take out the three giants are likely to be able to do this. Also note, I got this idea because i collect free hardened picks from sep and use those and stone picks. Not as reliable, but asolid plan b.
But this is not a lvl up guide it's how and where is the best location to start your farm base and why for lvl up I got another video bro

Thank you so much. I got reported on official pvp and have to start over and was completely dredding the grind since the kurok dungeon is no more... i also like that the npcs are dropping star metal items i can dismantle into star metal bars. Loving this update so far

@darkcat you have to keep in mind your already level 60 with rolling thrust 25% extra pen and probably going to need suggest you need to level first so not suggested for lower levels; However I have an alternate suggestion. Go to the sorcery cabe at the beginning of your server start then ravage the x6 chests in there for hardend steel tools an weapons. My next point is you'll need to go to crystal cave and mine that till your level 20 and put all points in agility first to then acquire rolling thrust, then you made either proceed to the north for black ice power level; or go farm this health armor. But personally I'd go straight to the north with my hardend steel tools an farm black ice till level 60. But hey, that's just me 🤷🏼 hope this helps the confused watching this video 😌
Ye can be good idea but still possible do the cave lvl 1 even just need to dodge and bleed put a bed role if u died and start over
@darkcat.gaming you don't spawn in fast enough to pick up old damage made on said attempt, thralls just reset to original position and gain health back almost instantly. So you will need to be lvl 20 at least with agi damgae light kit for extra damage on daggers not lvl 1 unfortunately. I see what your going for but sadly is just not possible, especially because sobek dungeon thralls have the highest npc pool cap eh

@darkcat.gaming are you making this video for yourself or for other players? That's fine you can do that but I don't think you understand what your even trying to say. You WILL NOT pick up old damage to npcs fast enough after respawn from npc kill. There health will reset in that time. I don't think you realise because you made the video as a level 60. Try do this process yourself at level 1, tell me again you can do it. Bet you it would be more effective to go straight for power levels than this method. Just tediously wasted time in my opinion

This is great, one of the frustrating things of conan is the grinding, you want to get to the PVP and bomobing fast, this will help with the leveling and gearing. I hope they implement the merchants with blood crystals again.

Its probably a good idea to start collecting this and other decent start gear, these devs are known for hating pvp players and will definately nerf this to oblivion, love the raiding vids keep it up! you are one of the few still putting out good content on it, yt is flooded with console tough guys making "PVP" kill montages that probably took them months to compile lol

They actually do hit really hard. You will not survive 2 hits from them if you are new and no god mode
kinda agree on lvl 1-30 this is unrealistic tho it is remotely doable like most things in this game.
U can still do a lot of things like put spikes and run around spikes to kill them with bleed or just put a bed role and keep trying for me it's not hard to kill npc hit role stack bleed

My experience going there at 60 with two followers
1) they hit really hard
2) the amour pieces i got are broken and you can't repair them
Without being able to repair the armour or learn how to make, that whole cave is a waste of time.
It's just a good gear for low lvl to start a fresh hardcore pvp server this armor will boost u in pvp and u can kill ppl a lot easier
the idea is to roll around and NOT get hit, lol. It IS good armor. Its useful top stop by even on pve server.

My sobek cave npcs have 5k health each and hit like a truck. Ran through the whole thing and didnt get one armor piece. Just started Conan exiles And I’m confused on what’s going on
It should not be like that u kill 1 that have yellow hp bar and u get 2 to 5 armor peace

It's not loads it's a little bit that dont worth the time u have to farm those blood crystal . In official its 4x harvest if u farm 1 round gold 1 round silver and 1 round ichor u can make around 20k alch base much better

@@darkcat.gaming its ok, I've tested out in a single player & looks like they fixed it. No more rendering issue, Isle of siptah is now playable.
I don't get why people go on and on about thralls these days. You only need ONE, maybe TWO named thralls. With the rest you are perfectly fine with Tier3 thralls. The one you actually need is a named armorer. For light armor you'd want the shieldwright, for heavy the scoutwright. You can buy the scoutwrite at kuraks dungeon. I'll explain what I mean.
Alchemist - with the tier 3 you get the oil recipe. The tier 4 only gives a slight speed bonus, it's easier to have two benches with t3 alchemists.
Armorer - makes the best armor and can be used in tanners bench to make thick hide for making hardened leather. The scoutwright is 95% of being good enough even for light armor, you can get that at kuraks.
Blacksmith - with the tier 3 you get the steel re recipie. Now that all the end tier weapons are legendaries you no longer craft them. Crap legendaries are better.
Cook - none of the recipies matter, you don't need one at all
Carpenter - none of the recipies matter and you don't need to craft good bows, get legendaries
Entertainer - t1 is just as good as t4 unless you use it as a follower, put it in a box in the middle of nowhere if you need one
Smelter - only reduces fuel cost and increases crafting speed two t3 are better and you'll probably never notice not having one
tl;dr don't bother with farming thralls. Just focus on getting a named armorer, it's the only one you need for quality, everything else simple speeds up farming and crafting. Even if you need massive production then just set up a simple t1 base and put say 10 improved blacksmiths benches in it and craft 10k steel re between midnight and 6 pm and pick it all up before raid hours. With discipline and organization you won't need any work benches, just a little hideyhole to sleep and keep your loot.. much of which won't really help you out in the long run. Now that the god bubbles are gone only active defence works for large bases, hidden bases are just as useful as before, perhaps more since you don't need crafting thralls so losing your hidden base is no longer as harmful as before.
I'm not agree since getting some t4 thralls are easy like 90% chance a d u need damage black Smith for crafting weapons idk for me it's not hard to catch them yes if it's hard for some new ppl to game they can skip it

You can actually get 4 random legendary weapons right after you start the game by making a zipline towards the silver mine.

Yes normal silent legion not the redeemed one so its trash trust me I test everything all over the map nothing better than mount of the dead
