I'm already saved, just a question to see how you answer. If I accept Christ payment for my sins today and tell a lie the next day, do I have to accept the payment again? or do I ask for forgiveness the next time I pray? and what if I die before I get to pray, does that mean I go to hell?

what must I do to be saved? “ believe on the one whom he has sent” what is the will of the Father “ believe on the one whom he has sent” if you believe in Jesus, God said you will be justified. What does justified mean? just-if-id- never sinned. you will look sinless before God if you believe that the sacrifice of Jesus is enough to cover every sin. do you think the sacrifice of Jesus is enough to get you to Heaven? If you think it wasn’t enough all by itself, you won’t make it there.

While I agree that it is on the merit of Jesus that we can approach the throne of God, your conclusion is way off. Read carefully and you will see that "the truth" of Rom 1 is that God exists and must punish sin. Ephesians 4 says that "IF indeed we have learned and been taught by Christ, then we know that we need to put off the old man and its ways of sin and be renewed in the Spirit of our minds, which like God is created in righteousness and true holiness."
Repentance is a commitment to live "with a clear conscience before God" Peter writes. Paul in at least three places says that his conscience is clear and that he strives to keep it that way. Repentance is "the obedience to the truth" mentioned probably a dozen times or more throughout the New Testament. Departing from Repentance is departing from the truth. Rom 2 continues this thought "since God will repay everyone for the good or evil deeds done in their body, you need to live rightly. A true Jew is one who is circumcised in their heart who seeks the praise of God and not of men".
We believe, we repent, we receive forgiveness, we receive the Holy Spirit who has the power to make us holy.
It is only those who die "in Christ" that will be raised to life, but we must remain to the end of our lives on earth. Being "in Christ" has conditions, namely, being led by the Spirit and not by the flesh (Rom 8) and crucifying the flesh with its lusts and desires.
The speaker mentions where Jesus (teaching his disciples) tells them to be extreme about ridding themselves of habitual sin. "Cut it off. Better to enter eternal life maimed, than to have both body and soul thrown into hell (not get "less reward").

Grace isn’t deceitful, the enemy is. Becoming complacent by what Jesus has done on the cross by treating salvation as an insurance policy for us to do whatever we want isn’t because of grace, but is a lie from our flesh and/or the enemy. We should be reading our Bible and praying daily and allowing The Holy Spirit to change us to become more like Jesus every day. I’m not arguing with the pastor, just clarifying that grace itself isn’t deceitful. I don’t believe he meant it in that way based on the context of the video, but I just wanted to clarify. 🙂

I agree with you in that. I’m sure he meant it differently but that is where we need to be careful in what we say and how it’s delivered. Grace is never deceiving. Titus 2:11-12 speaks of how the grace of God has appeared unto all men, teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lust and to live sensible, upright and godly lives with a purpose that reflects spiritual maturity. The Bible describes 3 main enemies, the world, the flesh and the devil. And usually the main battle is the flesh. Grace is costly and there is a price to maintaining that grace. But Grace never deceives. Unless it’s the cheap grace that many are teaching today.

The devil does deceive you into thinking that because God's grace is sufficient, we empower ourselves through Satan, to keep on sinning. Hallelujah, yeah the pastor did make a mistake, but it doesn't make him a bad pastor, I'm sure he misworded this, hopefully he catches it one day. But I get what he meant. I think he was on point but he should have elaborated. Because we know the grace of God is truly Amazing. Many times when we read a scripture or hear it. And it says, “take heed he that thinks he stands, lest he fall. It’s there because there are those who are do not take heed. And think they stand. And it doesn’t take much to blow them over. I believe they fall in the category of what the Bible refers to as the 5 foolish. And in Romans 5:20 it says where sin abounded grace abounded much more. And in Romans 6:1 it starts off with Paul clarifying 5:20, What shall we say then. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound. And he is very clear, “Certainly not. But there are far too many who do not and will not receive the admonition of the Lord. So as with the Pastor it was so with you, I received it in the spirit it was given God bless in Jesus name. But from i take away from this, don't let the idea of the Lord himself, Jesus Christ, having grace on us, let it be the excuse as people who call ourselves Christians Willfully Sin or do things we know we shouldn't be doing, and not repent for it. We're saved the moment we believe in Christ alone (Ephesians 1:13-14). If one believes that living a 'righteous' life is what saves you, which is essentially what this teacher is saying, that is what will send one to hell, as one's full trust is not in Christ, but in oneself.

Romans 6:20 20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[b] Christ Jesus our Lord.

Anyone who disagrees with this teaching is holding on to their sin. Not willing to repent and turn away from rebellion!
Disagreement also indicates ignorance to the powerful word of GOD that transforms us from death to life!
I'm reading Hebrews 12 right now.
    Hebrews 12:5-10
    5. "And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:
“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
    Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?"

Luke 16:19-31 (KJV) There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
    And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

To everyone saying its not that weve been deceieved by grace... yes it is... paul clearly states that there are people who have infiltrated the churches and have stated That, by the grace of God You may continue sinning, living immoral lives. They lie and deceive us. Its not God deceving you its the enemy. If those ungodly people infiltrated those churches how much more do you think theyre doing it now! Tenfold !!! Gods grace is merciful but it also states when we accept God as our Lord and Savior we change to be like jesus christ was so if you didnt change or dont feel that change you never converted wholeheartedly. God's grace is amazing but the people who use his grace to deceive you are the ones who this pastor is talking about.

I think he’s definitely on point and I completely agree, I thought it was great that he got real with a lot of prevalent heart issues, and sins we easily excuse… and I get where he was going when he said “deceived by grace”….but at face value when I first heard this, my jaw dropped, because to say something like that whether intentional or not is an affront to the person and character of God.
We know from James 1:17 that every good and perfect thing (including the undeserved grace we receive) comes from the Father of Lights with whom there’s no variation or shifting shadow. Therefore God nor His Grace is deceptive, neither are we “deceived by grace”.
Rather I think what he was meaning to say was that we EASILY take advantage of Gods grace, to justify and nullify our sin. For that Paul has an answer in Romans 6:1-2… “What shall we say then, shall we continue to sin so that grace may increase? MAY IT NEVER BE! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?”
Because of this we are to live a lifestyle of repentance, not to earn salvation nor to think that we can deal with the issues of our heart by ourselves. But rather because God chose us from this world, and He as Christ purchased us with His own blood, And through His Spirit living in us, He can deal with and eradicate the issues of our heart when we never had the power to. Therefore we live to honor Him and His word because we recognize His love and grace toward us, and live out of love for Him in response.
Other than that statement, I though this guy was pretty on the dot

I see a lot of comments on here talking about how Grace isn’t deceitful, but it absolutely is when preached in a way that acts like grace absolves you of sin Grace does not absolve you of sin, nor will it save you from it. God‘s grace was that he sent his son to die on the cross that we could have power and redemption, so power to overcome and redemption through the cross because Christ overcame sin, and we are now partakers of that victory and the same power resides in us when we accept his spirit of holiness
