    Okay, confession time! I have a fairly busy itinerary of appointments and boats to film at boat shows. When I arrived to film this one, Numarine very kindly said 'would you like to film the Numarine 37XP while you are here?' Err, yes please!! So with limited time, I'm afraid this one didn't get quite the love it deserved so that I could race on and get the 37XP before moving on to my next appointment. I'll try and get a more thorough tour of this one sometime for you.

      Hey Nick.
      You are entertaining thousands people like me, day in and day out. Your videos are outstanding, the image quality, the limited to no background noise, the light, etc. Everything is outstanding. Please, don’t apologize for doing a video that, in any case, is ten times better than the videos other people upload.
      You are the best ‘Boat-Yacht video reporter’ on the planet. Your knowledge, your passion and your empathy is visible in ALL your videos. Including this one.

    FYI, I dreamt of almost buying a decommissioned steel 90m naval battle ship… it was HUGE…. Huge command bridge… yeah … was planning to host paint ball war weekend events … or just park it and open a bed and breakfast with a coffee shop. The guy selling it laughed and shattered my silly thoughts.

    Kudos to Numarine for this - the decor is different to other boats, I sense a different feel with this and very lovely it is too since it's not a copy of others. Still very yachty but more homely than some I've seen. Great tour in spite of your reservations Nick.

    Numarine, very good effort, altogether nice boat. Explorers are fun, and when they are designed properly, with a dash of panache - they are statements.
    It's got a Tankoa feel to it on the exterior...

    It's beautiful, but I'm not digging all the sharp corners and edges. Could be nasty to bump into on a rough day, and sinks are more difficult to clean properly for the crew.

The 37XP is personally my favourite boat on your channel so I think the quicker tour of this one was worth it, I’m certainly really pleased you got to do the 37XP. Your “quick” tour still managed to give a really good overview of this little sister 👍

    The SuperYachts always look amazing, but I find myself more drawn to the regular-size Yachts, specifically Flybridge Yachts. In the fantasy where I own one, I'd rather have the privacy and not have to deal with crew.

    As always Nick has managed a splendid tour showing fabulous interiors, especially on such a busy day. However, going by only the small picture for the video, I have to say the outside shape looks like one of the ugliest boats to date and certainly not my cup of tea. There, I finally found something I don't like on an Aquaholic video. I feel like a traitor, sorry nick.

    Ikea design all over again, but this one was surprisingly very tastefully done. So the Ikea look seemed to look pretty rich for once. Nice boat. Check out this beauty Nick (2021 NORDHAVN 80 Hull #1 Explorer Yacht Tour / Expedition Liveaboard Long-Range Cruiser) and you will see ,what l call proper rich looking wood finish quality with rounded edges, And keeping a nautical feel, not a hotel apartment look, not everything square like these Ikea cheap looking boats, even though this one is pretty nice.

    @norarivkis2513 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why does everybody use those horrible "opening sections" to bigger windows, all rimmed in black that destroys the view whether the section is open or closed? I get it that they need to seal the part which closes, and that they don't want to open a whole huge window for any of several safety reasons, but for heaven's sake, they could certainly make a big window that doesn't open and a separate small window that does, to the side of it, which would keep your big one from being spoiled by having the smaller one stuck smack in the middle of it.
    I see these on almost every production yacht built today and I hate them. I don't think I'm the only one, either, because I can't remember _ever_ seeing one on a custom-built yacht that was designed for the individual who'd be owning and cruising it. When people get to make their own decisions, they don't choose these monstrosities.

    • @rkm237
      @rkm237 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AQUAHOLIC I think I figured it out... they are the inverters for a battery system that lets you run the a/c for 12 hours with the generators off. Cool. A Robb Report review quotes: "Naval architect Umberto Tagliavini has also designed a displacement-hull version with a bulbous bow. Hull No. 2, now being built for another client, is designed to cross oceans, with a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 8 knots. Its top end will be 11.5 knots, with a 9-knot cruising speed. “She will also have our ‘silent package,’ with a lithium-ion battery system that keeps the necessary onboard systems-including air conditioning-running without generators for 12 hours,” says Omer Malaz, Numarine founder. “That provides enough silence to enjoy the most beautiful island bays or to sleep peacefully while being rocked by the sea.”"

    Very nice. Good to hear you won’t be ‘prying into the owner’s drawers’. I’m sure they were pleased 😁
    Is it me or are the cabin doorways quite narrow?

    Couldn’t that crewman have waited outside during the filming rather than hovering around like he thought Aquaholic was going to steal something?

    I notice with several of your boat tours that are at boat shows there are the owners items on board i.e. clothing etc. Do you know what the arrangement is with the manufacturer and the current owner? Where does the owner go (if with the boat) and do they get some sort of financial incentive for giving up their boat for a period of time and letting people walk all over it?

    the inside is ok, not great, the outside, from another boat looking at it, it makes me puke, did someone say lets build an ok ship, and screw up the hull design to make everyone puke???

    Do the water makers on these boats produce drinkable water, or just clean enough for washing, etc??

    A great superyacht. However, was there a section we didn't, get to see. Did I spot a ladder on the aft deck? Another great boat to see round. Impressed with the 3000 nm range.
