So happy to see this video as "sheepdogs" are my personal game. 🙂 Sage came running upstairs to my doorway when she heard the whistles, stopped short at the doorway and dropped into a "lie down" on command - wish I got it on camera.
We have a wonderful trial near me in Wisconsin, USA. I especially love the double lift championship where the dog has to leave the first group and go fetch a second group that is over a hill so he can't see it. The shed is sorting off 5 collared sheep from the group of 20. These dogs are amazing!
Years ago when I lived in the UK I used to watch a TV Program that was called " One Man And His Dog " It was Brilliant to watch how One Man and his Dog worked together.
The drone is great to see the dogs work! I've tested (not competed) a working dog including tasks by single command not repeated more than 3 times and signals only (not one peep from me) at a distance. Thats a lot of training, team work and very smart dog. Add herding - OMG very special dogs. Please do more of the dogs working. 😊
Great drone footage and nice interview with Bambi, he's so right getting together with like minded people whether sheep or dogs is always a pleasure. Great working dogs, doing what they're meant to do, not neurotic like so many border collies in pet homes with no work at all. Congratulations on your League win, Bambi, and the little bit of blue language just adds to the colourfulness of your last run! (Was that The Farm Vet Dr. Kaz in the one shot, Cammy, or just his doppelganger?)
The drone footage was amazing. It's makes it so easy to understand how the dog & handler work together. These dogs are so well trained . Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas.

I absolutely LOVE this. My own dog is a lazy and very spoiled brat. I cannot imagine having such a well-trained and compliant dog . Thank you for posing.
That is a great explanation of the whole process. I have been to trials before, but have never had it broken down so well and the drone footage was great. Thank you.
The amount of work it takes to raise and train these dogs alone I would give an award for. It is very impressive to watch how the handler and dog work together. Thanks for sharing Cammy, and congratulations to Colin and Liz and everyone who participated.👏🏾💚☺️
