There is one more bag to share with you, but in this video, let me share with you the bags I absolutely loved in New York, very nearly bought but in the end I didn't buy and why I didn't buy them. I can see why the majority of the handbags you left behind in New York were so tempting, Amelia. They were so cool. That Judith Lieber butterfly was gorgeous and the Dior Saddlebag in the newsprint spoke to me, too. You know yourself very well so I know that you made the right decision. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Amelia, my favorite out of the ones left behind is the butterfly 🦋. But I get it, so expensive after buying three other bags. Maybe another time you can add it to your collection. Take care. 🌸🌸🌸🌸

My SA at LV was showing me random bags for fun and one of them was a python bag, one of the first things he pointed out was the scales lifting and it was noticeable so I don’t blame you.

you leave the bag in the bathroom while the shower steam is on, it lifts all the scales then they drop back down according to Romina I think?

Yes, I’m not a huge fan of fendi, Prada or gucci but on occasion there are bags in certain sizes and colors that make me think, oh I do like that, this fendi is one of those!

Have the newspaper bag. Get non-stop complements. And those that know, also appreciate that it was hard to get. Moreover, the craftsmanship is phenomenal.

I wasn’t an exotic girly. It wasn’t about it being an animal skin, it was about the visible scales 😆
Then I had a similar experience in the Sydney flagship store with a petrol lizard cap (same as Deb’s) and I was gooooooone 😆

I would have bought the striped red and pink Alma in preference to many of the others. It just is so simple and it has capacity and works. It's also quirky and a doubletake bag.

I think you would be able to find the Fendi and the striped Alma later without much trouble. I have seen that Alma come up preloved multiple times before. And I personally don’t find that Fendi particularly compelling.

You're NOT hypocritical. Leather is THE most eco friendly material available still today.
Think about it- How long does plastics (and vegan leathers) take to decompose in our trash dumps? Leather is a biological, purely natural product, and if it's cow leather then usually it's a by-product of the meat industry, which means we are using more parts of the animal and not wasting as much, which is also more eco friendly. Tanner Leatherstein has a great video podcast on this with a guest on ethics of using leather. Think of all the landfill space you're saving by buying natural leather!
Not to mention that leather is a byproduct of meat that is consumed vs exotics where animals are farmed for their hide.
@@bettybbagsThis is my view too. Some are raised for their hide, sure, but then also used for meat. I’m drawn to mink and lizard bags but struggle with the fact that they’re farmed solely (to my current knowledge) for their skin.

This citrus-y varsity jacket is very on trend. Get some baggy jeans, but with a flat front… not too much fabric…pair with simple earrings & a mid heel shoe in any color from the jacket. Don’t add any other citrus…

At first I didn’t like the La pausa bag but you’re right it’s different and I like the idea of our personality shining out instead of neutral and classic. Not all of us want to fit into that category.

I am team pink fendi baguette, but the rational for choosing the la pausa instead makes a lot of sense, the baguette is a cute bag but it wouldn’t make any difference to your bag collection.

i did, but i was only buying it because it was new york
I understand the temptation with exotic, but you need to be organized and never lose the CITES documents for it as traveling with exotic skin is legally regulated and you risk fines, the bag getting taken if you dont have the documents

You'll find that Lunar Mini Baguette in better shape at some point... and I'll find the regular! 🤞🏻😘

that capucines is beautiful. i get your temptation though. python is just really fragile skin. if i'm playing 7k+ for an exotic i needs to be somewhat durable.
i think cuisson bag would have been a better match in navy or blue.
i'd like a mini kelly, but for that price, i'd rather buy an exotic peekaboo from fendi. Or i could probably get a special order from fendi.

The bags you saw in Fashionphile did you know the rating? I’ve never purchased one because I don’t know how the rating relates to how the bag looks. Ex: condition very good shows wear scares me
