A very valuable, meaningful podcast. Kudos to Kyle and the Bomber organization for being transparent and forthcoming. Seeing this, it is very understandable as to why the Bombers have been a success ,especially over the last 5 years. Sure hope that Kyle continues as GM after his last contract year.
Dinwiddie knew Zach couldn't throw the ball properly when he returned. Being cleared by the medical staff did not change this. If you had pulled Zach, your back ups may not have fared much better however you have back ups for a reason. Wilson was your #2 guy and had never started a game or played in other capacity other than short yardage. Dolegala had experience and had won games as a CFL starter as did Arbuckle who clearly was the better QB even before Zach was injured. There is no covering it up however the Bombers were clearly outplayed and out coached and were deserving of their Cup victory. Next season the GC is in Winnipeg and for the Bombers to be back for their 6th consecutive appearance will be a tall and formidable task. That being said and as a fan of 62 years, I hope for continued success and wish the team well!
Go after Tre Ford and have them both.....they are both winners and want to play on the same team. Zach needs to restructure his contract and mentor Tre.....he has the potential to be another Russ Jackson. If you stick with Zach.....well his GC and play off performance or lack thereof, speaks for itself. The Cup is won in November and not during the regular season!
Good interview. Thanks for posting.
