    Nice video :)
    Very easy procedure!
You don't really need to type "dump" in the CLI section for knowing the version, actually on the first screen at 2:01 for example, you already have the firmware version of cleanflight installed on your board, under the disconnect button, the big green button with "DOCUMENTATION FOR 1.11.0", this number always shows you what version of firmware you are using :)
I am using Betaflight and everytime i upgrade the firmware, these numbers change according to the firmware :)
    Have a great week Dave!

+ABMNS PRODUCTION Doh! Thanks for telling me about the quicker way. It was fun to take a dump though :-)

***** Hahaha yes i can imagine that!
Sad, the MWOSD website is down since a couple of days...
I really love this OSD, works very good on the minimOSD board :)

I'm enjoying this series Dave. This looks like a nice little fc. I like the built in minimosd! In a future episode, could you talk about how it compares/contrasts to the Naze32? I have an extra Naze32 and was thinking of trying it in an airplane. Thanks! -Fergy

+TheAdkFlyer10 I will try to mention it but keep in mind I don't have a Naze32 to compare it too.
I hear they are very similar except for the OSD.

+TheAdkFlyer10 I am using the MWOSD 1.5 with my Naze32 and it works pretty good, i even had the artificial horizon at the beginning and it was working but i disabled it since it is useless for a mini quad!

    Hi,
have you managed to change the font type. I'd like to use larger fonts. The upload process works flawlessly, but they won't be saved permanently, despite writing the settings afterwards. I've read on the MWOSD page, that for font updating the supplied voltage has to be 4.8V or higher. My FTDI Adapter only supplies 4.64V, so I attached a separate power source to power the osd (5v), but this won"t do either. Then I tried connecting the flight battery to the FC, but then my OSD GUI wont work.
What am I missing? Have you tried it yet?

Do you happen to still have the mwosd r1.6 folder? i got several of these flight controllers for my nephews to fly and i cannot get it to update they are on r1.6 so i need that gui and none of that stuff is availible anymore? basically i need the mwosd r1.6 zip file

From what I can tell the file you need might be on my old laptop. Give me your email (gmail) address and I will try to send it to you. Also you might try r1.7 because that is still available.

@@DaveMerc well, i didn't pay attention to your recommendation at first, noticed it later, but that r1.7 did seem to work!i couldn't get the rssi to work with ELRS though, cleanfight is showing the rssi on the calibration tab, I've tried everything in mwosd gui.... Well at least i was able to get rid of that dang blinking rssi that was so distracting. Hopefully elrs should out preform my wolfwhoop 600mw analog vtx and i should loose video before control. I can live with that! Thanks for the help! I had tried the 1.9 and the 2.0, never thought about the 1.7. Happy rippinz!

@@DigitalCruzer Glad you got it working with r1.7. Maybe you will find a trick for the RSSI later. I remember one time the RSSI had a negative going signal and I had to reverse the MIN MAX values to get it to display but that was EZUHF RLS.

Dave, I tried to use a Naze32 with Baseflight on a fixed wing plane (FT Explorer) and had it configured with MinimOSD and a GPS and everything seemed to be working great until I tried Return to Home. It immediately sent my plane into a nasty dive and when I tried to pull out of it when back into manual mode the wings folded up. You can watch the disaster on my video here - th-cam.com/video/coly9aY5yW0/w-d-xo.html
I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong. Maybe you'll have better luck with a fixed wing on a similar FC. Just be extra careful with your config on the GPS stuff and RTH. I got everything else working great except for that.

+Albert Kim (marblekit) RTH can be a disaster on about any FC. Don't trust it.
