- We have both lived in Provo for several years now, and it never ceases to amaze us! There are always so many things going on that when it came time to put this travel guide together, we had such a hard time narrowing down our favorites! Especially when it came to the food ;)

I live in Provo so if you are planning on visiting go to Rocky mountain drive through on 500 west! They have good food an 80s vibe and it is a staple here cus when you where playing at the park as a kid you'd cross the street and get ice cream it truly is a great place. (P.s if you don't like American cheese don't order the cheese fries take it from me I had to learn it the hard way) (Pisst eat the scones)
I always wanted to visit Provo Utah but if I go there I'll feel out of place.

Hi I’m from Myanmar. I got accepted into BYU. As a non-LDS and a southeast Asian, I am a little worried if I’d feel like an outsider if I come to Provo. Any tips for me?
Congratulations on getting accepted! You will love BYU and Provo. People are super kind, welcoming, and genuine. There are more non-LDS students than you would think! I recommend joining clubs at BYU. There are a ton of different clubs for all sorts of different interests. There are even clubs just for international students. It's an awesome place and you will love it!
