You're not missing any direct parodies c: The talk show mentioned in the beginning was the Ylvis brothers' own show, I kveld med Ylvis ("Tonight with Ylvis"). Part of the joke is that the singer, Vegard, is "the nerdy one," so it came off as natural when he kept mentioning Stonehenge in this episode until the last mention segued into this song. And it's funny that you mention Josh Groban! There's a running joke that they look alike, and there's even an episode of the same show where Vegard gets into various places he shouldn't by posing as Josh Groban. Great stuff.
Also he gets on stage at josh grobans concert pretending to be him, singing a few lines and then Josh comes in. It’s such a great episode😅. Also trying to check into josh grobans hotel when he was in oslo;)
@@Miamia_01 What's hilarious is that he starts singing a Norwegian song in a very distinct dialect which a foreigner who had not lived in the area for years would struggle with.
He was actually selling that Civic at the time, he had an ad on the Norwegian Craigslist and even got a call about the car during the talkshow they host.
I have been to the Louvre in April - to avoid traffic. You can't. I liked Napoleon's apartment far more. And all the other huge paintings and sculptures. Everybody knows the Mona Lisa, except for the size.
This is Bård, brother of the guy singing in A Capella. Their surname is Ylvisåker, they just cut the end for their artistic name. Still working myself through their catalogue. VoicePlay covered their biggest hit, What Does The Fox Say. The guys look so cute in furry headgear, especially Layne. I do hope you had a fantastic concert in Nashville.
I did, and I even was able to catch a small part of Tommy's livestream Wednesday (though not much, I slept most of the day because of exhaustion from the drive).
Vegard is the dark curly haired guy, Bård is the dark blond blue eyed one. I gotta also add, vegard is the nerdy one😅 so the song is right up his alley, he seem to obsess a little over certain things and Bård find him annoying😂 brother love. Lol

Quite a lot of humor packed into a song! Great reaction, as understanding and giggling along!
Thank you for reacting to Ylvis. I hope you will continue to react to more Ylvis videos in the future.
Come to Washington State- we have a Stonehenge, built to scale, but intact. Sits on the Columbia River
the funny part is that Vegard put the car into the song because he was about to sell it xd
Ylvis in just about making a lot of bullshit😂 - to brothers, very intelligent, very talented - but not a serious bone in their bodies. 😵💫🤪😂🤣
You have a great smile! I can say with 100% certainty, he did not recive a single dime from promotion, that's just his car and he thought it funny
