I'm starting to think Steichen thinks he doesn't have to answer to the media, at all. And certainly not to the fans. That won't play well here. That dog ain't gonna hunt. AR wasn't nearly the QB Peyton was. AR compensated his lack of accuracy for rushing yards. Peyton didn't have that option and had no choice but had to get better, and in his second year, took a 3-13 Colts team to 13-3. AR isn't the answer, he's a placeholder.

I am feeling optimistic a day early Kent. Josh Downs should be making his return. I feel that he is our secret weapon. I really think that he is the best receiver on the team. I think he has built a trusting relationship with Anthony. I'm hoping his presence on the field will give our entire offense a boost in command and confidence. I know he's one guy, but I think he is the guy. He and Anthony look like they have a strong connection in route running. I'm not feeling optimistic about the defense... but maybe tomorrow.

My money says that he knows that Gus Bradley‘s bad he wants to get rid of Gus Bradley and he’s being outspoken by other people in that building.
I think everyone was a bit in a hurry to anoint AR then next elite QB. He is not there yet. He may get there with experience. Let’s call that optimistic. Let’s hope the defense was embarrassed enough to find a way to win the game against the bears. We just can’t count on AR yet. I have a feeling we will have turnovers against the Bears.
