Well, I've already got 6 open concealers I'm bouncing between, and my current favorite for my undereyes is Elf Hydrating Camo. But I have new eyedrops for glaucoma which cause discoloration of the skin around my eyes - kind of a brick red - and a rough texture Id finally gotten rid of, so I'm thinking about the Natasha Denona for a different shade match, and maybe a return to NARS' Radiant Creamy which I was very happy with before the Elf stuff. So, let's see - while my issues aren't as pronounced as yours are, you can bet I'll be discussing alternative drops with my opthalmologist when I see her again next week. I agree most beauty influencers do not have dark circles but will come on and be like “this concealer has great coverage for my under eyes”, and I’m like are the dark circles in the room with us? 😂 meanwhile I look like I haven’t slept in 8 years. This video was so helpful!
Thank you Alex, I am 63 years wearing makeup and loving makeup for 50 years! I have at least 15 tubes of drugstore and high end concealers in my possession now 2 of which you used in this video and have recently given away twice that amount, I have tried all kinds of ways of applying, with sponges, fingers, brushes made just for concealer, I ve used correctors , brighteners, alone and with concealer, and of course set like I'm supposed to, and within an hour I looked like a dried up , caked up wrinkled mess. I watched you put the smallest dot much below where it I would think I need concealer and then gently pat it in with your finger and then I watched it conceal your dark under eye like a miracle. So I said what the heck do I have to lose I put a small dot exactly where you did, pat pat pat and Viola! I did not separately set it . I set my whole face with spray and powder with a big fluffy brush no special emphasis under the eye . I did this at 7am. My undereyes look spectacular now at 430 pm, oh if I could only go back 40 years and change one thing this surely seems seems to be a small enough change not to cause the butterfly effect......😂. Thank. You.
I understand, it took me almost into my thirties before I figured out why my dark circles always ended up looking grey & seemed to me they stood out more when I tried to conceal them… I am quite pale with very dark blue purple circles & deep tear troughs, so I desperately needed a color corrector & less concealer!! At least it’s better that we figure out these things later instead of never??!!! I’m very happy for you!!!! 🤗❤️🤗
Can I ask which is your favourite concealer? I’m nearly 40 and since I turned 35 not many concealers work on me anymore now that the skin under my eye is more ‘mature’ as they say ha ha ! 🥹
@@Chloe__________xx Huda Faux Filter is a good fuller coverage one. Nars in the little pot. Tower 28 or Kosas for more lighter no makeup look.. but I can use the Huda one for that too. All how you apply & layer if you need it. (I have to use a corrector.)
You’re my favorite. I can actually see your skin and the way products apply on it, your lighting isn’t so much that i feel like i have no idea what anything actually looks like. You focus on technique even when you’re reviewing products. Your technique is unrivaled. I’m half Syrian with a fair olive tone leaning warm, and watching someone who looks like me without makeup is so helpful but also makes me feel confident about things that, as a generally confident person, i didn’t know i needed a confidence boost on. Basically you’re a perfect baby angel.

I have more hollowness that creates darkness under my eyes. I do find a hard time finding a hydrating enough concealer with coverage but is reflective enough to cancel the hollowness without being heavy. The Kosas one or Natasha one have been the only ones with a corrector under them to help with this problem. I also need to set lightly. I have had lot of trial and error with so many concealers.
Wow same here. I have hollowness and lines ugh. That’s why I’ve always avoided concealer because nothing really worked. I’m trying to get back into it to find the perfect one.
I really love the Natasha it’s completely replaced my Huda! It gives me a lot more coverage than Huda and it’s very buildable! Natasha talks ab the creasing on tiktok n says let it sit then Pat it out to get creases out or sit w powder immediately

The Huda is my current fave concealer, even though I do have dry undereyes. I just load up on mousturizer and eye cream before makeup. Her color correctors are too dark for me though. I think you would like the Tarte Shape Tape yellow color corrector. It's amazing on my bluish purple dark circles and makes them super bright.
I am a dark circle person--always have been. I'm 69 but look young for my age. It's the circles that are my nemisis! The only one of these I've used is the ND over a Pixie corrector. It works the best I've tried, but now I'm going to have to give the Huda corrector & concealer a go!!! Thanks girlie!!❤
As a dark circle girly, I love high coverage concealers but after a few hours of wear my dark circles poke back through and can look grey! its so frustrating and it even happens when i use a color corrector 😩
I have pretty deep dark circles as well and have found Nars Radiant Creamy concealer amazing! It has good coverage and lasts long as well! (My skin type is oily)
As a fellow Dark circle gyal, I have to say I love the Make Beauty Mimetic concealer on you. It blended so well and matches your skin so perfectly that it looks like your skin minus the dark circles (Not sure if '2nd Skin' is the appropriate terminology to describe this). Agreed! Huda nailed it! As a dark circle girl myself, I really appreciated this video and I just may go try that combo! I currently use IT Cosmetics Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer but it’s thick and is a squeeze tube, so I end up with more product than I want. But you’ve convinced me to try the Huda Beauty combo!
A few years ago I visited my family in New Orleans and we went to some really unique clothing stores in downtown. It was full of natural light and a positive, honest energy with some cool ladies with their own unique style, all sorting through the most fun and eclectic selection of clothes. This was SO HELPFUL. I have terrible dark under eyes 😭 that I’ve actually been learning to love and accept tho when I have a bare face but it’s still nice to make them disappear with makeup! I feel like a totally new human lol

HUDA for the win!!!! FYI, my favorite color corrector, and truthfully ONLY one I use) is by Pixi. It comes in a little pot. SO good. Works under ANY concealer.
The Natasha Denona concelaer is my HOLY GRAIL. I've never had a holy grail before!! I put it on, and let it dry down for 1 whole minute before blending. I have dry mature eyes.
The huda concealer is so good! Super high coverage but blurring and lightweight on both the face and under eye. I’m very similar in shade to you and I think you would like shades Meringue and Cotton Candy. Also the new Kulfi shade expansion is really great! I have shade Misty Maple in that
Huda Faux filter has been my holy grail concealer that ended a long-lasting hunt for a good concealer. I have really dark circles and dry skin and nothing has ever come close to looking as good. I set it to prevent the creasing issue.
I was just thinking earlier today on how to cover my dark circles going forward. I'm 40 and those undereye circles are becoming more prominent while the fine lines are definitely getting deeper. Thank you for this video, I''ll use it as inspo when I go shopping next!
I really love when you do these videos because I have the same skin tone and very bad dark circles that lean blue-purple and we all know how difficult it is to cover without looking bad. I’m definitely going to try the Huda combo since my other corrector + concealer options don’t play well together. It seems like there’s no end to new conceal products and it really helps that you’ve tested beforehand.

Huda beauty faux filter is I swear my favorite concealer ever cause it’s light enough to highlight my face it doesn’t darken when I set it it doesn’t crease on me and I only need the smallest little dot and it goes such a long way
One of my pet peeves is beauty reviewers saying how good a concealer covered their dark circles when they didn't have dark circles in the first place. Or at least was so inconspicuous that you can barely tell there is a dark circle.
Hey there, I’m a fellow dark circler😂 give this combo a try. Huda Beauty Faux Filter corrector (I am assuming you would use the lightest shade in this product line) and for concealer try the Huda Beauty Overachiever concealer. I find this combo works best for me over using the Faux Filter concealer, on top of the Faux Filter corrector. It sets well too (without powder).
I just want to say I am enjoying your videos. As a teen I didn’t have a mom that wore make up and as a pre internet teen 😂 there was no YT to watch/learn. I have rosacea, and hyperpigmentation from auto immune diseases. So as a teen I struggled to find a color that matched, that covered. I knew nothing about makeup then. I did continue to wear makeup as a teen and young adult but I still struggled to just put on my makeup without it looking overdone (although at that point in history-that was a thing 😅) or not matching. I eventually just gave up. Fast forwarding to now as as someone decades older with now nearly grown children and I am rediscovering myself- I am learning so much from YT videos like yours. So thank you for your content!
I would be interested to see if the other concealers perform better after using a corrector. I have rarely found anything that works by itself. I’m a fellow dark circle girly so I’ve gone through my share of concealers. Thanks for another great video. Your dark circle ones are my favorite.

Also, you have olive undertones like myself; however I am a Winter, I think, so neutrals and cool tones suit me better. Your dark circles are not even that bad, especially compared to mine and others. I mean, there are probably other people online, but I love your content, your honesty, your sense of humour and your understanding and knowledge of the world of colour and art. I have drier skin, more fine lines and darker circles than you. As a single Mum now, my sleep hygiene is terrible. I long for sleep. I have inherited dark under-eye circles to boot, plus the lack of sleep, and my eye area shows the outside world just how exhausted I am. It does plague my confidence. So thank you. Makeup is magic. I have watched your content for years now. Thank you for being brave. You look beautiful without make-up, too. I grow so frustrated each time I watch a Beauty Guru apply concealer, and they have no dark under-eye circles. I would be happy to be blessed as they are and not have to apply concealer at all. Love this! I would love to see a similar test with what concealers are best for eyelids. Obviously shadow application would have to be a part of the test so it might be too many variables🤷♀️
I haven't used any of these.... BUT my go to is the Colorescience total Eye 3 in 1 serum these days. It's peachy tinted so it color corrects, and it brightens the eye, plus it has all kinds of good skin care stuffs like sunscreen so it's just a great all around "one and done" product. Means less layers, which according to your "make up for glasses wearers" video, is important for someone like me 😎And since me watching that and trying really hard to minimize my layers on my nose, the horrific "spots" are definitely a lot more minimized. So that's my recommendation :) My undertones are different than yours though. I'm very red/pink under tone and my circles are blue/purple. But, like you, I have the same discoloration all over my lids so I spread my Colorescience on my lids too. Just all over the whole eye area :) And the same tube has lasted me at least a year :)
ND is my current HG but I'm super interested in the Makeup By Mario one & the Haus Labs one launching soon. For reference, I'm 52 & have lines & dark circles.
Tarte ultra creamy is now my goto and I'm 49. I have a very similar undereye crease shape that you do. I used to call it my undereye bananas, but the way I've watched you apply eyeshadow on your lower Lash line helps so much.
I love Huda beauty concealer as for me, its better thn many high rated concealers when it comes to covering the discoloration .with the color corrector before and setting powder afterwards,its a bomb
I have been on a life long mission to find the perfect conealer. I too have really dark circles and creasing, but I also don't wear a lot a make up. Finding a concealer that has good coverage, doesn't move and has a skin-like natural finish is near impossible but GIRL, I have to thank you for your services because after watching this video I went to buy the Halo concealer and I am blown away. Where has this been all my life? It's everything I have been looking for! Thank you so much for this video!

I have not tried any of these products yet. I am at least 20+ years older than you, and so have WAY more lines under my eyes and on top of my hereditary dark circles. I will definitely try the Huda. Would also like to see the Haus Labs also.
Thanks Alex, Side-by-side undereye concealer testing is always very helpful and we got a good sense of what these products are like. Wish all of them had been built up with a 2nd layer for a better comparison.
I also have dark circles and this helps get a good comparison. I currently use elf matte that I blend and then quickly set so there's no settling but I might try huda... We shall see.
I don't really wear makeup, with the exception of concealer. I have very dark circles just like yours and just a bit of concealer makes me look and feel like a different person. It is so great to see reviews like this because I don't have the money to test them all out myself! I would love to hear your thoughts on how they wear
I would love an explanation on the use of powders under the eyes. I don't use powder and maybe that's why my makeup doesn't last? But I am afraid of making my undereyes look dry and cakey

Dark circle person! Love Hudabeauty color corrector . I choose the shade pink pomelo. I am a medium light skin girly with yellow Under tone. I haven’t tired the concealer because I am a dried skin girly.

I'm 25 with thin, textured, wrinkly eczema-prone undereye (pls don't tell me to drink more) and *ta dah* blue/purple circles because of the skin-barrier thinness. Make up makes me look worse and I could NEVER feel good in it. I have an event this weekend and my stubborn ass has been at sephora *everyday* trying to find something that works for me. Denona lost coverage after 2 hours. I need to colour correct. I'm going to give Huda one last go (or at least try the colour corrector!!). This video was not only helpful but actually so comforting. I carry the MAC Studio Fix powder foundation with me and use that if I need to add a little coverage later in the day, it really helps

Agreed! Huda nailed it! As a dark circle girl myself, I really appreciated this video and I just may go try that combo! I currently use IT Cosmetics Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer but it’s thick and is a squeeze tube, so I end up with more product than I want. But you’ve convinced me to try the Huda Beauty combo!
A few years ago I visited my family in New Orleans and we went to some really unique clothing stores in downtown. It was full of natural light and a positive, honest energy with some cool ladies with their own unique style, all sorting through the most fun and eclectic selection of clothes. This was SO HELPFUL. I have terrible dark under eyes 😭 that I’ve actually been learning to love and accept tho when I have a bare face but it’s still nice to make them disappear with makeup! I feel like a totally new human lol

I would love a vid comparing color correctors using a lightweight concealer-dont switch concealer. And explain how to tell which is the best brightener/corrector underneath for different people.
I always like the matte for under eyes, as it looks more natural, to cover dark circles. In particular the Huda ia a good one.
I have mature, dry under eyes. I like the Huda a lot for full coverage, I just use a nice eye balm under it and don’t find it too drying or creasy.

HUDA for the win!!!! FYI, my favorite color corrector, and truthfully ONLY one I use) is by Pixi. It comes in a little pot. SO good. Works under ANY concealer.
The Natasha Denona concelaer is my HOLY GRAIL. I've never had a holy grail before!! I put it on, and let it dry down for 1 whole minute before blending. I have dry mature eyes.

The huda concealer is so good! Super high coverage but blurring and lightweight on both the face and under eye. I’m very similar in shade to you and I think you would like shades Meringue and Cotton Candy. Also the new Kulfi shade expansion is really great! I have shade Misty Maple in that

Huda Faux filter has been my holy grail concealer that ended a long-lasting hunt for a good concealer. I have really dark circles and dry skin and nothing has ever come close to looking as good. I set it to prevent the creasing issue.

I really love when you do these videos because I have the same skin tone and very bad dark circles that lean blue-purple and we all know how difficult it is to cover without looking bad. I’m definitely going to try the Huda combo since my other corrector + concealer options don’t play well together. It seems like there’s no end to new conceal products and it really helps that you’ve tested beforehand.

Huda beauty faux filter is I swear my favorite concealer ever cause it’s light enough to highlight my face it doesn’t darken when I set it it doesn’t crease on me and I only need the smallest little dot and it goes such a long way
One of my pet peeves is beauty reviewers saying how good a concealer covered their dark circles when they didn't have dark circles in the first place. Or at least was so inconspicuous that you can barely tell there is a dark circle.
Definitely worth trying the lighter colour corrector. I have dark circles much like yours and it works really well. It's a pinky peach

Hey there, I’m a fellow dark circler😂 give this combo a try. Huda Beauty Faux Filter corrector (I am assuming you would use the lightest shade in this product line) and for concealer try the Huda Beauty Overachiever concealer. I find this combo works best for me over using the Faux Filter concealer, on top of the Faux Filter corrector. It sets well too (without powder).
Huda beauty corrector just game changer in my life. I was about to get filler job under my eyes, but with the corrector it's looks muuuuuch better

You should try the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer. I like the peachy shade for covering dark circles.
I just want to say I am enjoying your videos. As a teen I didn’t have a mom that wore make up and as a pre internet teen 😂 there was no YT to watch/learn. I have rosacea, and hyperpigmentation from auto immune diseases. So as a teen I struggled to find a color that matched, that covered. I knew nothing about makeup then. I did continue to wear makeup as a teen and young adult but I still struggled to just put on my makeup without it looking overdone (although at that point in history-that was a thing 😅) or not matching. I eventually just gave up. Fast forwarding to now as as someone decades older with now nearly grown children and I am rediscovering myself- I am learning so much from YT videos like yours. So thank you for your content!
I would be interested to see if the other concealers perform better after using a corrector. I have rarely found anything that works by itself. I’m a fellow dark circle girly so I’ve gone through my share of concealers. Thanks for another great video. Your dark circle ones are my favorite.

Also, you have olive undertones like myself; however I am a Winter, I think, so neutrals and cool tones suit me better. Your dark circles are not even that bad, especially compared to mine and others. I have drier skin, more fine lines and darker circles than you. As a single Mum now, my sleep hygiene is terrible. I long for sleep. You look beautiful without make-up, too. I grow so frustrated each time I watch a Beauty Guru apply concealer, and they have no dark under-eye circles. Love this! I would love to see a similar test with what concealers are best for eyelids. Obviously shadow application would have to be a part of the test so it might be too many variables🤷♀️
I got a Huda Beauty Concealer too in the shade Cotton Candy. Plus my color corrector is Pink Pomelo. And I love them!
Wow the huda combo looks so good on you! I use huda too for my dark under eyes 🎉
I haven't used any of these.... BUT my go to is the Colorescience total Eye 3 in 1 serum these days. It's peachy tinted so it color corrects, and it brightens the eye, plus it has all kinds of good skin care stuffs like sunscreen so it's just a great all around "one and done" product. Means less layers, which according to your "make up for glasses wearers" video, is important for someone like me 😎And since me watching that and trying really hard to minimize my layers on my nose, the horrific "spots" are definitely a lot more minimized.
So that's my recommendation :) My undertones are different than yours though. I'm very red/pink under tone and my circles are blue/purple. But, like you, I have the same discoloration all over my lids so I spread my Colorescience on my lids too. Just all over the whole eye area :) And the same tube has lasted me at least a year :)

Tarte ultra creamy is now my goto and I'm 49. I have a very similar undereye crease shape that you do. I used to call it my undereye bananas, but the way I've watched you apply eyeshadow on your lower Lash line helps so much.
I love Huda beauty concealer as for me, its better thn many high rated concealers when it comes to covering the discoloration .with the color corrector before and setting powder afterwards,its a bomb

I have been on a life long mission to find the perfect conealer. I too have really dark circles and creasing, but I also don't wear a lot a make up. Finding a concealer that has good coverage, doesn't move and has a skin-like natural finish is near impossible but GIRL, I have to thank you for your services because after watching this video I went to buy the Halo concealer and I am blown away. I have not tried any of these products yet. I am at least 20+ years older than you, and so have WAY more lines under my eyes and on top of my hereditary dark circles. I will definitely try the Huda. Would also like to see the Haus Labs also.

Thanks Alex, Side-by-side undereye concealer testing is always very helpful and we got a good sense of what these products are like. Wish all of them had been built up with a 2nd layer for a better comparison.
I also have dark circles and this helps get a good comparison. I currently use elf matte that I blend and then quickly set so there's no settling but I might try huda... We shall see.
I don't really wear makeup, with the exception of concealer. I have very dark circles just like yours and just a bit of concealer makes me look and feel like a different person. It is so great to see reviews like this because I don't have the money to test them all out myself! I would love to hear your thoughts on how they wear
I would love an explanation on the use of powders under the eyes. I don't use powder and maybe that's why my makeup doesn't last? But I am afraid of making my undereyes look dry and cakey

I'm 25 with thin, textured, wrinkly eczema-prone undereye (pls don't tell me to drink more) and *ta dah* blue/purple circles because of the skin-barrier thinness. Make up makes me look worse and I could NEVER feel good in it. I have an event this weekend and my stubborn ass has been at sephora *everyday* trying to find something that works for me. Denona lost coverage after 2 hours. I need to colour correct. I'm going to give Huda one last go (or at least try the colour corrector!!).
