- In this video, we take on one of the most requested food challenge: destroying a prata buffet for only $7.90!
We visit a local Indian / Mamak restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat Prata buffet, and we set out to see how much we can eat in one sitting. The buffet includes a variety of Prata flavors, such as plain, egg, onion, and even chocolate! I ended doing a little over 40 pratas at 60 minutes. Do note that this buffet got NO TIME LIMIT so you guys can pretty much sit there and eat for the entire day.

Yep, the teared up roti/planta and drenched with curry is commonly loved by Malaysians and we call it roti banjir(flooded bread). Nice video and I give my respect in every aspect y'all are doing 👍.

Zermatt's favourite form of prata is Roti Banjir in Malaysia. Banjir = Flood. Shredded Prata flooded/soaked in curry/dhall.

No.. Cut it into small squares (similar to what Zermatt did).. Then, pour the packet curry to submerge the Prata, you'd be eating it like some pasta in sauce or something like that! It's very good! 👍🏻
As for my Prata, I like it soggy/drenched in curry! 🥘🌶💣🤍 Prata without sauce is also great, the doughy taste and texture is just so gd! 👌🏻👍🏻

I personally think mushroom cheese prata with curry or dall gravy gonna be darn good. Yum yum yum... I also like drenching prata or roti canai in curry gravy. Also tear to bite size, only can enjoy munching

7:39 it’s called prata banjir, which means flood, so the gravy is flooded with the prata, but usually they’d served it with 2 pratas, not sure if they’re sold with more like 3-4 pratas and drenched in gravy like that haha but I guess you can just say and the person can do it accordingly too I guess 😅

Producer XL, i dont do it exactly like Zermatt. Usually I will order tabao 2 egg, 1 kosong. then ask them to just pour in the fish curry into the paper packet with the prata. So when I get home in 5mins, its all soaked up.

The tearing of prata and flooding with curry is common. It’s called roti campur. Typically it will be done with half boiled eggs

when I order prata I also tell the guy to tear up everything before serving, then also no need small saucer for curry, just 1 big scoop of fish curry pour onto the prata and soak it thru.

This place so familiar, sell pineapple bak Kwa. Always long queue during CNY and limit to 500g per customer. Look like they renovated the coffeeshop didn’t been there for a year. The prata look yummy. 😂

This remind me of Soori prata comedy. The Indians know about the comedy. Where this village guy will go to a prata shop where the shop says eat 100 prata and you don't have to pay. The village guy will take the challenge and almost winning the prata shop man will cheat him saying he did not eat 100 prata by count cheat on the drawing board. Nevertheless by arguing with the village guy. The village guy will say erase back the board counting and I will start back from the fist line. If the Soori comedy has subtitles go watch it.
