I did it! I did two videos in a row! Haha! It's been so long since I've done that! Happy New Years and I hope this year brings everything you hope, and I'm so grateful to be sharin it with you guys again. big big love from the boys and I!
Also, I'm still learning about colour grading, not gonna lie, I'm still learning my new editing suit so there a few things to get right. some of the greens are a bit greener but for now, its what I ended up with. Either way, my biggest hope, is that you enjoyed it. 💙
Ditto, I was so overwhelmed I watched it in two parts, couldn't focus from excitement. Home in the creek once again, you have got big worms down there, how big are the birds? Plume, mossy, my favorite for studying, looking for hours in case you might find that picture that is so very rare and so amazingly beautiful that people will offer you crazy amounts of money so they can own it, if I ever find one, keep the cash I will keep the beauty, that sounds like a good title for a story, beauty and me, nah, yes, yes, yes, beauty and the beast, bet you didn't see that coming lol. I know, predictable, as i am getting older my condition is getting worse, won't be many more years before I ride off into the sunset with no fuel for the return trip, but thats a different story for another time. Wet feet, wet rocks and a heavy backpack, sounds like your destiny has arrived. Have fun with those brother.🎉
Dude!!! It's so nice to see you again!!! I'm super excited🎉 Great way to start the new year. Can't wait to join you on your adventures again🙃❤ And i totally agree that you have to go through shit sometimes to get to the beauty. That was actually the best find in my opinion. Well take care of yourself. Catch you on the next one. Rock on!!!!❤
Awesome day and awesome rocks! Im a nurse and ill say its better to have cow poo on you than human poo! Long story lol. I cant wait for the next video! So super glad you are back and better than ever!
Nicely done! Quite the haul of interesting pieces.Looking forward to seeing them cut and polished. Makes me want to go to Australia and find some for myself. THANKS.
Hey there's your Face all be it with a little cow dung amongst it 😊. Well worth it! After all it's a rock 😂. Fun as usual and the stones fantastic in Australia! Good to see you happy and smiling and you have a great year Friend!
I'm late here, not one notification from TH-cam 😭 great to see you back 👍 Beautiful rocks!!! I'm a bit jelly. Here in Tasmania I find tiny versions of these mammoth beauties 😍 small is beautiful!
The cow saved that rock just for you! How cool is that? It's wonderful to see you out "adventuring" and enjoying the magnificent beauty of a creek. And so many great finds among you and your friends. I hope the new year continues to bring you joy and happiness. ❤
Death plant😂😂 Love this, all of it! It kindly resembles the creeks here in SE Tennessee, that I love so much. I sure don't find that many beauties, tho. I do find a few snakes & lots of wildflowers & mushrooms & a few bald eagles! 💜😁🪨🌼🍄🐍🦅
Looks like an incredible day with the boys! Your country is beautiful, your rocks are phenomenal! Thanks for sharing your joy to all of us rockhounding nerds!😊 Happy 2024🎉
Hahaha yeah brother boy! I think they saved it for me… it got on my eye and then watching it back I realised I didn’t wash my face off until getting home… hahaha
A video from you is the best thing that has happened yet this year! Stoked you see you on here again... your videos gave me the confidence to get a tile saw and cut my first rocks. Love the cow rock, and the comedy and life lesson of it all! I can't wait to see more of it, and more of you. Thanks!!
Hey brother. I'm loving the new format. The scenery is lovely as always. But the rocks,....what can I say that hasn't been said!!! Great video my friend. So glad to have you back. Know I continue to pray for you little brother ❤❤❤
Wonderfully awesome finds! And not just the rocks! We have stinging nettles here in my area, in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, fun stuff, eh'? What are those big leaved semi-tall plants that I see around the area there?? Plenty of volcanic activity here in the past, so I've found lots of goodies over the years. Including Obsidian, and Apache tears I've dug out on my own from a spot called Glass Butte. There's even some rare green obsidian that I was lucky enough to get my hands on, which is quite nice. I miss rockhounding, but I'm getting a little too old for it these days. I always wanted to go mining for opal in Australia. Never got to though darn it. Glad you're back out having fun!! Been missing you!
That is MEGA, Jesse! Man oh man, you have all hit the jackpot! Each and every one of your finds is a thing of beauty. Thanks for taking me along with you and your friends for this rock adventure. Love ya, mate. ☺️ WOW, WOW, WOW Jesse! Always 👁️👁️ under the cow poop! 💩
Soooo good to see you back doing videos and enjoying your times with friends on rockhounding adventures. Beautiful finds as always. Happy new year !!! Can’t wait till the next ones come out. Take care of yourself
You and everybody just had some amazing finds! So beautiful! And that was a gorgeous snake! And I hope you carried that huge thunderegg back with you!?! That big botryoidal piece was amazing! And I don't blame you for using your hands! It was so worth it! And it's true, sometimes you have to go through a bunch of s***, to find the beauty on the other side! The video was amazing Rookie! And the finds made by everyone, were just stunning! I'm so glad you are back! Happy New Year Jesse, and your lady friend! May 2024, be the best year ever, for everybody! And may it continue for every year thereafter! ❤🍾🥂😊🎉
It's great to have you back on TH-cam. Your videos always offer a unique perspective, blending exceptional visual aesthetics with insightful commentary. Your landscape shots resemble scenes from a Jurassic Park film, and then you transition to your friends, grounding us in your everyday reality. Thank you for sharing your distinctive view of our world and yours with us. You are blessed and you bless us by sharing.
Imagine my surprise and pleasure waking up to yet another gift at my door with this new post from a friend across the ocean. What an excellent day out wandering the caldera of a volcano for magical silicified goodness! 😉 Happy New Years to you and yours sir. May 2024 be the very best year yet in your journey~ Thx again for the fresh post brother, hope you have a great week!
I just got a big ole smile after watching the video. Bro, there's just not a lot of content and creators out there that make me smile warmly from watching a TH-cam video. I enjoyed seeing the snake and all the moss and ferns. Being out there with your mates in some choice nature, finding all kinds of hidden treasures. And man, the rocks each have so much character. It doesn't have to be agate or chalcedony to be gorgeous, eh. Had me laughing at the poo on the rock. Good thing there was water close by to wash off. Thank you so much for sharing, Jesse! Happy New Year!!
Happy new year, indeed! 🎉 🎉 🎉 New year, new YOU! You’re looking fit and energized by the hunt! 🫶 And what a hunt that was! 😮 I can’t wait for you to cut into those bad boys and show us their silicified guts! 😂
Can't thank you so much for showing your shinies and the joy they bring you and others. Also love that you stop and enjoy all of it not just what is at your feet. Will be sending this to the crew as it has been 6 months since our last fossick. Stay well and stay safe Looking forward to your next one
YES! I actually find watching a fossicking vid helps me get pumped for the hunt too Andrew! Make sure you tell the crew I said g’day and get out there!!!! Happy hunting mate! Thanks for the support!

Man o man i wish we could rockhound like that here in Queensland, so very jelly!!! Awesome video and a very cool hunt, thanks for bringing us along ✌😎✌
@Rookie_Rockhounding, Happy New Year. Praying that you have a wonderful and blessed 2024 😊 It's great having you back. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. ❤
Honestly I know it is more work but longer videos from time to time would be welcome. I love when you show the beauty of nature around y'all and love the the fact that at least one of you guys are not afraid of snakes. Lol. I would be right there playing with the snakes too. As a mom of two sons, I had to teach them what was venomous and what was not. God Bless.d
It's really fun to watch you rockhound by the water! Super helpful that you put up the names of the rocks you find too, your enthusiasm and curiosity are infectious!
Nice chalcedony and rhyolite scores! That last big chunk should slab up in stunning fashion. Can't wait to see what everyone got and how things slice up! See ya in February! Thanks for sharing your adventures, Jesse!
Jesse, so great to see you! It's been such a long time, mate. It looks like you guys found some really great specimens. Love the 🐍 but I really loved the chalcedony. I wouldn't know rhyolite if it came up and introduced itself. You're looking great and I'm so glad to see you back. ❤🎸🏏
I am obsessed with your videos. The rocks you find are amazing even without being cut. I would have a hard time cutting any of them since they are beautiful the way they are!
That is totally a dilemma we are faced with each time haha! It’s amazing to find them and holding your breath when cutting them is nerve racking… some I don’t even cut cause I’m not sure if I even should. Thanks Tanya!
What a gorgeous place to rockhound. Thanks for sharing. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with these rocks and how they turn out. Happy 2024 to all of you.
Hi Jess, another really good video. I was wondering when it would drop, checked 3 or 4 times during the day, then boom just I sat down for dinner, Hahaha. I'm so glad you're back! Happy New Year! The vom noises were the best 😆 Hope you avoided the weather carnage over Christmas. Bring on 2024!
At the 5:58 TS you rinsed a volcanic botryoidal agate commonly known as the Thunder egg and that one looks like it may have ryholite with it.😉👍🏻💯
Great video !! I’m so glad you’re able to get out with your boys.
So good to see you back at it again man!
Love your editing 👍

Wow what a beautiful place to hunt rocks
No I know right! So so beautiful to be amongst it out there!
Asik ,,,,,mantap,👍
I am obsessed with your videos. The rocks you find are amazing even without being cut. I would have a hard time cutting any of them since they are beautiful the way they are!
That is totally a dilemma we are faced with each time haha! It’s amazing to find them and holding your breath when cutting them is nerve racking… some I don’t even cut cause I’m not sure if I even should. Thanks Tanya!
