Perfect timing; I was out riding today, and kept using up all my travel. Even with good air pressure. Looking to add a spacer or two; now I'm confident I can do it myself!

I just changed mine maybe slightly stretched c clip .Once I've installed air can and c clip slightly play pulling air can back lighting take it thsts normal
I did this on my Santa Cruz Chameleon and now it feels like a hardtail?
The part where she briefly mentioned cycling the suspension every 50 psi to equalize pressure between the positive chamber and the negative chamber is a critical step and I think it got glazed over a bit quick in this video. If you don’t equalize those pressures as you slowly go up in pressure, you will end up with a shock that seems like it doesn’t want to move at all. Start back over at 30-50 psi and make sure you can cycle the shock through at least half its travel, then slowly add more pressure, cycling it every 30-50 psi. It should slowly get firmer and harder to cycle as you get above 150 psi. Hope that helps.

Geez how easy is that x2 compared to the float X! I'd swap out just for it being so user friendly my Float X 2022 I'm just away to do this I can't get any more than 250psi in a max 350 psi shock! Would a volume spacer installed be the cause of the low psi you can get in the shock? Might sound totally obvious I know but I'm new at these shocks so any help would be amazing thanks
Shouldn't it be a little more sag for less air volume/more spacers? 🤔
No, your percentage of sag should never change according to your body weight and-or your preference of preload. By reducing volume, you're just changing the rate of the spring which in this case is air rather than a coil. Remember sag is just preloading the spring. Yeah, isn't this exactly same video? Would have been nice to have this video with other type of shock, as that X2 has rather unique way compared to rest of air cans.

Omg... Maybe check out MX factory, Race Tech and Vorsprung for a better understanding of spring rates and load balance. That bike must pogo like crazy on rocky and rooty sections, no? Not too mention how inefficient the balance must be, even on hard dirt. I'm assuming then if you're running 30% in the rear you're running at least 25% sag at the fork in order to achieve some sort of balance.
I can't imagine riding something that softly sprung...🤷♂️ I understand you light in body weight is that the reason why the suspension is so soft?
I don't know if you do the q/a's nowadays or not but i was watching some old videos of yours... I hope you guys do and if you don't please answer me back on instagram (gampas_13)... I need help urgently...#AskGMBNTech... IF ANYONE ELSE KNOWS THE SOLUTION PLEASE HELP.
So I have quick release on my front wheel, whenever i break hard (hydraulic disk break from tektro), the wheel moves towards the left and now my break is rubbing to the left side of my fork and rn the only way for me to fix it is to remove my wheel and then position it back, but then if i am going high speed and press the breaks, the wheel again moves towards the left and now the disk again rubs on the fork, the wheel moving is very significant and the disk has cut out a circular shape on the fork due to it rubbing again and again... no body on youtube or google knows how to fix it yet and there are no good bike shops in India, GMBN Tech had a video regarding it about someone's front wheel moving during dropouts, but the solution given in that did not work... My fork is all spoiled and i'll have to buy a new one plus this risky, specially due to indian terrain and my rough riding style...
Please help ASAP
