@@paulthomas3841 It's just fly tipping is an offence that surely police would have an interest in, or at least should investigate if presented with, alongside any identifying details from the rubbish, be it an address on a box or as mentioned elsewhere, a serial number off the oven that is hopefully traceable to an owner who either tipped themselves or can point to who did.

Part of my job is helping manage Crown lands in a Province here in Canada. We have had more illegal dumping this year then I've ever seen, I've spent thousands cleaning up garbage including having to pay a company to remove 4 big barrels of hydraulic oil that someone rolled down a ditch, luckily it didn't spill. I feel your pain.

Look for serial numbers on electrical appliances and makers name. You might be able to supply them to the police and trace the owner . If you need any help with clearing it I'm sure some of the local Tytherington locals will help you.
Definitely I just said the same thing for serial numbers on the appliance our family farm friend Did the same thing for a fridge freezer on his land I will drive and it got trace back to the owner managed to get a prosecution And compensation as Cours take it serious

Put some concrete blocks or IBC's full of rubble or anything big to block the gateway, unfortunately we have to do that to stop idiots on motorbikes and 4x4's driving over the crops, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS!!!
I had the same here in Ireland and contacted the local council they told me that if it was on the road they would take it but they couldn't go into private property for it but fair play to the fellow I talked to he said to put it on the road side and he would take it I arranged a time to meet and I handed out to him to load and in the process I found a dole ticket with hatch number and personal details on it never heard any more about it again

Richard it is getting terrible every where. Even in the Mid=West/Iowa we get some of this. We now build well pipe gates and weld the hinges so they can not be lifted off the post. Then we chain and padlock the open end. This stops 95% of it. We still get the real determined dirt bags that try to tear down the gates. Usually they do not get it done but it still causes us repairs to the gates and posts.

Buy a powerful magnet an scan the floor with it, it will pick up any nails ect wont get glass or none magnetic stuff but its a good way i dropped a bag of screws in the farmers feild who i work for they were everywhere i got a magnet out an cleared them up withen 20 mins even found a couple pennies and half a bent horse shoe hate fly tippers
A shallow ditch in the gate way pal, then the fuckers will get stuck, then you can do what most farmers do, myself included,, cover the fuckers in slurry. Good luck pal, wish I was closer would gladly help clean up.
Very possible there could be something leading back to the owner of the rubbish but there is a good chance that someone has paid to get that stuff taken away. There are unlicensed people that advertise on facebook that they will get rid of rubbish for people for X amount of money and they just go and tip it somewhere like in this video. It's a disgrace.

Probably someone close by who is doing renovations. Have a look around you may find them. They would have to know the area to know good places to dump trash so most likely a local.

Do what we do, get your loader and push it out onto the road. Council will deal with it once its off your ground. We have the same issue down here in Essex and as soon as its off the field and onto the road its soon cleaned up with no questions asked etc.

My solution would be use a Small incinerator for the wood & bury the ash take any metal to nearest scrap yard put the rest bin bags & put them in the grey waste bin over the next few weeks. Then up grade the gate . Might be worth getting a cctv sign & a black box will act as a deterrent.

This angers me. I'm from the US and my family members who are loggers have to deal with similar crap like this. People will drag ovens and many other appliances, along with garbage out to the forests and dump it all, just like you have here. The appliances really get us as they can take them to a recycle center for free. For some reason they feel the need to drive for miles past those centers to dump their appliances in the woods. I seriously don't get people like those, or like the ones who dumped all that trash in your field. I'd love to see them caught and be forced to clean up their mess. My heartfelt sympathy to you.

I WOULD search for any addresses even check boxes for labels you might be able to follow a paper trail and barcodes contact any companies that you may find

Yes I can believe what 'scanky' folk there are out there. I live in rural Wales where lane accesses to mountains, laybys, verges, the sides of roads amongst many other places, are strewn with hundreds of tonnes of rubbish, mostly builder waste, and fast food packaging.
Check for serial numbers on the oven, it is probably registered to the manufacturer for warranty...

This is probably cleaned up by now, but make sure to keep an eye out for any mail , even things like flyers can have addresses on them !
When you get the roof timber cleared up, we recommend you go over the area with a magnet, we did just to pick up the nails, feel for you Richard. 😔

A farmer I know chains his gates to the post so they can't be lifted and chains the opening end so they can't just be opened!! Works wonders for him!!

We stick an old trailer in the gateway or tree stump, works well but has to be moved for spraying which is a pain. Frustrating all round!
This is truly horrible. I had to double gate one of my fields to stop this type of fly tipping.
Daft thing is, there's a load of metal in there that the scrap man would have took for free if they had stuck it at the end of their property.
