I want a mayor who would REFUSE to ever shut down the city & businesses again.

I'd be happy with a reliable public transport system, at the moment it's very frequently unreliable, and I can't get to where I need to be in a timely manner.

The last thing Auckland needs is another Labour lackey doing what he's told by Wellington for a cushy job after his term finishes.

Remember Brirtomart was highly controversial at the time...it was said it was a waste of money, would disrupt businesses etc.
The problem is is that Auckland, (both the Council but more so the general Governments over the years), have left things to late. We should have invested in these type of things decades ago. Now it is more of a disruption to Business, and the many many more people that use and live in the CBD. I do think a big regret, is that we should have paid businesses affected more compensation for lost Business.
Someone living on Sydney would not now call the city loop rail Network a bad thing.

Craig Lord's mic isn't working properly. Didn't they do a sound check? Can't help but think TVNZ did that deliberately to disadvantage him.

I don't like Efeso's ideas....putting pressure on home owners....is too much government overreach.
Instead of targeting people who own houses instead government should spend tax money properly and build state houses

Efeso sounds like a Labour puppet... nothing original or thought out. He even speaks in that hurried, breathy manner typical of Ardern, Robertson,Woods et al.
And the focus on Climate Change...a mandated, impoverishing rort.
The other two at least demonstrate some lateral thinking...in my humble view.

😂 i heard a guy talk about climate change and how fake it is, he ses if climate change was real no bank would be giving out loans because if it happens thats dead money.

I can't believe how good Craig Lord is... I don't want my vote to go to a clear 3rd but these other two just don't cut it for me...

There is no way I would live in an apartment building and it would be a bloody nuisance if I had to use public transport rather than my vehicle.

Wayne has practical, logical and responsible policies.
Efeso has expensive and unrealistic dreams.
I don't actually understand Craig's ideas it sounds like telling you what you want to hear without actually telling you.

    • @blonderaz

Really Wayne seems like an ideas man and nothing more substantial than that. His strategy seems more aspirational than anything else

The thing I appreciate about Efeso is he is actually looking forward. The world is going to be a very different place very soon and he's looking to address some of those things

Jack spread "Aotearoa". Jack spreads "Tamaki Makaurau". This isn't reflecting culture; this is slimy overreach.
