In this video I open my latest kiln full of pottery. There's some sgraffito, angel sculptures, luminaries, salt pigs, and lots of glaze combinations! Spectrum glazes, Mayco glazes, and a lot of mixed glazes.
Hey those spouts are hard to fit, lol! I did one and I didn't realize the angle had to be just right. So when I put the spout in, it very slowly popped itself back out. That was a sad lesson.
Beautiful sgraffit pot! Nice way to use the engobes. Looking forward to your angel tutorial. I do a salt pig where I just plop it down on the surface to flatten it. Then I finess. I will do a tutorial. Lucky Girl...Advancer Shelves! Love the leaf bowl! Cute mushrooms and mini vases. Thanks for sharing!😊
For some reason my plopping down and finessing just seemed a little awkward. Maybe I just need more practice. I'll definitely watch your video when you get it done!
Thank you! I just posted my tutorial video, so maybe you can give them a try. I really loved your video on making the slip trailed stamps. You have such a steady hand!
They are my daughters... but they haven't decided if they want to be in any videos, and I think youtube has some rules about children... so I have to figure that out.
I’ve recently gotten back into pottery and I’m really enjoying your videos! Can I make a suggestion to list your Etsy link in every video description? I’d love to browse your shop!
Sigh, I am sure I should do that! Though there is almost nothing in my shop right now. My other full time job is wedding photography, and wedding season is in full force here in Maine. I have so many pots to list, but no time to ship them.
I do think they will have the same effect. But I will also say making your own iron wash is incredibly simple and cheap. You can order just a 1/4 pound of red iron oxide and Gerstley borate online, and then just mix with water. No fancy scale for measuring, just a teaspoon of each and 1/2 a cup of water.
@@shereepechin4299 I usually buy mine locally when I pick up clay, but theceramicshop: www.theceramicshop.com has lots of glaze making ingredients at good prices, though they can sometimes be a little slow to ship.
Great unload! Loved the oil pourer, the angels and your quilt plate. Those little mushrooms are pretty cool too!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks so much for watching. I thought your stall looked amazing with all your pieces laid out. I love PEi I'll have to track down your work sometime!
Absolutely love the gift for your friend.
I hope she'll like it. I need to find one of those herbal bug repelling candles for it before I give it to her.
I know nothing about pottery but I’m impressed with your ability to remember all the different colors!👏🏾
Ha ha! Thanks, it's a lot of glazes to remember!
Great kiln load!! I loved seeing you get excited when the top fit the oil pourer! Haha. I so love your combos!!!

Thank you so much and I really appreciate you watching!
Ok, so far I’ve only seen one ‘three little potters’. The audience is asking, who are the other two?

@@threelittlepotters Are they potters-in-training?

and it's threelittlepotters.etsy.com ... but don't be disappointed in my current lack of stock.
@@threelittlepotters I won’t be disappointed! It’s good to be busy!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the angels, and I can't wait to see your tutorial! Do you think Mayco's washes will create the same effects ?
