- It's been a while since my last Kiln Opening so this one is packed full of pretties!! I am so happy there were not that many fails :). Come join me while I open the kiln and explain why I believe this firing was mostly a success.

Good day! I'm watching a video where you gave a shout out to someone who commented they find your videos therapeutic...I too would like to second that statement!! As a fellow nurse who is on a LONG HAUL recovery I have watched so so many videos while I'm unable to do my own but by far your videos are my favorites. They have such wonderful and beautiful ideas plus it's nice to know I'm not the only one trying my own, odd combos. Your calm voice also soothes the soul. Have a blessed day. Thank you for sharing.
Aww, you’re so sweet to say all that💗. I hope you are making your way back to health. Sometimes as nurses we just need a freaking break, especially if we are more intensely sensitive beings who try to take care of everyone but ourselves. I feel making pottery helps with this self care though. I hope you feel better soon…🫶🏻😘

Hey star! Thanks for the shout out. That first little bottle is super cute. I could see essence or perfume in it, hope u got the lid off? My opal lustre was from the faulty batch. Hope my new ones turn out like yours! U r so lucky w the dark star even w liner glaze! Amaco say no liner with it I will have to try. Love yr edited comments they make me giggle. Rr and hf what a dream!!! Love the inside of the hf twilight bowl. What brand is twilight i missed it? Ohhhh the blue lid runs r stunning!!! So glad u got the lid off. The sangria twilight bowl is gorgeous! Great unload again xx

@SoulHavenPottery-gt2gf not much on Instagram but a few videos on TH-cam..I'm going to videos my DISASTER and upload tonight. What could go wrong did lol..From me inadvertently turning off the computer on the kiln. Restarting. Didn't get to tep..lol.. Everything in the kiln was an experiment, with different clay and glazes? So i'm not upset, I just feel stupid..lol

All of them are so pretty! The big jar is my favorite but the purple and green one and the stenciled bowls are gorgeous too. How did you do the stencils, just with a thick slip? Love your jewelry bits as well how thick was the slab for those they look very lightweight❤
Thanks Amanda! Yes just hold the stencil in place and brush a thick slip then carefully peel away the stencil. I cut the flowers out of a bigger stencil to make it easier. The jewelry slab I just roll out very thin..maybe 2-3mm? They are super lightweight. I use a rolling pin after the slab roll to get desired thinnesses.
