I'm glad we get to see this emergency alert from a different country's perspective, but there is some problems. Most of these videos don't have consistency. The alarms and the general UI keeps changing. I've also seen a missed opportunity in this video specifically, maps. You could've put a map to show the advance of the flood around the globe. That's it, i still think these videos are very entertaining.

    • @someguyintheuniverse415

I'm pretty sure they do this do that every video is different. If we saw the same format all the time it wouldn't be as interesting. Besides, these disasters are (hopefully) in some alternate reality, so the Emergency Broadcasts being different every video should make sense.

Another amazing EAS video as always! One part that really got me was when the broadcast was talking about the requirements for refugees to come over the borders, and how the 'terminated' got cut off, as if they didnt want to scare off or alert other countries about what would happen to them. Either that or it was just cutting out by accident due to water rise. Still, it can be a comforting and scary detail. Great work!!

Wow, this is really cool, especially the fact that the storm is (in context of real life) somewhat otherworldly since if there were so many clouds and it rained for a week, the ocean wouldn’t rise more than a couple feet or so since the water from the ocean being evaporated would’ve created the clouds and just rained back down, but the idea that some otherworldly storm comes and floods most of the world is so cool, and Australia getting bigger was a really unique idea

Yes, I don't know how it would be posible to get the ocean levels to rise by more than 100m, so the amount of continental submersion seemingly over 1000m is a bit difficult to believe to have happened by any natural or even man-made causes.
Some bizarre calamity like a... well, I don't know, I guess it would have to be unrealistic too.
      Oh well, it is entertainment

8th worst natural disaster in terms of cost in history? Check (Black Summer 2019-20) -- I mean cheque for $100 billion.
      Floods immediately after? Check
2 years of pandemic later (deaths and infections are higher in 2022 than all years before combined), and more worst-ever floods? Check.
[former] Government neglect? Check (climate deniers, "it's the state's responsibility").

Canada would have its coasts damaged, but much of inland would be suprisingly okay for a good while, especially with some regions being 600 feet above sea level, and certain towns being mostly above groundwater level. There are even some communities that would need 1000 days of meter rain raises to be impacted by raising sea levels.

Given the water cycle exists, this would only have some sort of a chance of happening if major amounts of the north and south pole melted. Good work though.

      Truly unfortunate.
We've voted the people who did nothing in 2019-20 and then did nothing for the floods (even ignored until after the apex) out of office after 9 years, so ... thank the floods as partly responsible? Climate change in general is a major risk, as our national security and scientific bodies advise

Fun fact! At around this time there was a severe flood where I lived. The water flooded the river catchment and started flooding onto roads and land. and the soil was already at max saturation so it created a mini sea for a while.

Cool that the concept is genuinely not far off of what’s been happening in Australia recently, with most of the east coast being flooded around January or something, and even more rain predicted now.
