While it will certainly be one of the saddest days of my life, when Neil and Chris do decide to stop which hopefully won’t be for many more years, I agree that a book containing all of the booklets and additions from post-Elysium would be a fitting way to close an outstanding career. As I say though I hope this doesn’t happen for a very long time! :)

I do agree with Chris, a modern synth like the Yamaha Montage or with the endless plugins you can get for your DAW means that you spend more time fiddling with sounds and effects and samples and filters than you do with actually writing anything. If you read New Order's books from Hooky and Bernard you get a feel for how much effort went into making some of the albums. Kind of amusing to hear to these fait accomplis wizards telling us that they tend to just go with presets - ha ha :) This kind of explains a lot. With infinite choice comes infinite reasons to faff about, rather than doing what's most important - song writing. I always thought of the Pets as synth-pop pioneers, and master song writers, but now I've just learnt that what they were really very good at, is finding good presets. Brilliant.
Go for Relentless... yeah, we love that artwork and look.
It would be amazing to have a brand new one... and the LP with some extra artwork...

Reissue Relentless with Further Listening! I have the vinyl (yes, the extremely limited edition one) but I would buy it again.
Bring out as many box sets as you want, I will buy them!
They say they don´t...but the 2018 re-release of the earlier 2001 six re-released albums was finally remastered too at the end...
