Hi Dan, thanks! I'd have to say that the Highlander's versatility is what I like most. Because it is light and well powered, it controls easily in slow flight to get in and out of short fields, and carries a good load while cruising at 105 mph. Definitely a fun bush plane!
Hi Glenn, I've flown over to Brasstown a few times a year, but some weather between me and there kept me from making the trip to Plane Fun Days 2021. I'll plan to be there this year.
Greg, it's about 680 lbs completely empty now, since I added the TK1 Shock Monsters. Fully loaded up with fuel, 2 pax and camping gear for a trip, it'll be around 1320 lbs.
Nice job Jeff. Great to see you filming and flying your beautiful Highlander. Keep up the good work. Best Regards, Wayne Whitley
Neat!
Nice Highlander, and almost helicopter-like visibility with the boot cowl and top windows. Just a cool airplane. What do you like most about it?

Do you get down to Brasstown? I just posted a video on the Just Plane Fun Days from 2021.

Sounds like you need air traffic all the time
