- One hour to eat a huge pie chocked full of potatoes, veggies and two huge hunks of lamb on the bone, accompanied by mash, more veggies and two pints...
Get it down and you get a spot on the 'Pie Wall' and a coveted 'I Ate All The Pies' t-shirt!
This challenge is on the menu at The Plough Inn, Melton Mowbray, costs £25 and has been conquered only once so far. If lamb isn't your bag, you can elect for either a fish or veggie pie instead!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

That looks amazing , my now sadly deceased partner would cook pies like that and that's why I put on so much weight when I was with the lady . Just seeing brings back such wonderful memories .

This is my kind of challenge. Food and beer, and not easily eaten food at that, very specific taste/dish. Wish there were more like this
100% mate, nice to see something different to a fry up or a burger you know and not as easy as it looks on the surface, especially given how rich the grub and beer are together...think it would be even harder if they enforced 2 pints of beer haha

I love how in her frustration to open the bag of buns she potentially jeopardizes the extended freshness of the majority of the buns by tearing into the side of the bag in order to satiate her bread craving.. 🤣 I like her style 👍

Lol for some reason I just don't enjoy drinking stouts by themselves but I love them in cooking. And this looked like a difficult to eat challenge just with how everything was organized lol. Those huge shanks specifically when you know they were most likely ripping hot.
I love this challenge because it’s for once some real food and not just burgers, pizza and fries.
Pies can be every bit as greasy and stodgy and not "real food" as any burger or pizza. Or you can get very good quality versions.of all three.
What do you consider real food and why do burgers pizzas and fries not qualify?

i kinda like the filling inside but the pastry, yuck, they are always soak up the grease

I like this challenge , one of my favourites. The food is prepared with care and the lamb looks absolutely delicious. You devoured it with courtesy. That’s a win. I would definitely eat this meal between two. The beer looked great. !! Awesome dude ! Keep on trucking brother !! 🎉
Right, I didn't read the rules at the beginning, but I get the strong impression that he's not a big alcohol or beer drinker. And that's ok....I think that it just means he should have gone for two diet cokes instead of one (which again, may not have been within the rules).

You used to be able to get big Melton mowbray pork pies from Dickinson and Morris and some of the other butchers in the town. I miss them. Last time I was in the old country, I had 3 different Melton pork pies in 2 days. Used to live in Melton, and married a girl from there.

I don't think many people have said this, but I really want to spend a couple months in England, Scotland and Ireland just for the food! It seems yummy and hearty and ingredients that are hard to find here in the "Murica". I'm not a big lamb fan. Love the taste but can't get over eating a baby. But still... The food looks and sounds wonderful!

there are not many food challenges where i think "I could 100% do that" but this is one. A lot of the brekkie ones i kind of think i could give it a good nudge this one I'm 100% sure. I'd do two pints of lager to go with it as well because everyone knows Stella makes you want to eat things. Or hit things.

OMG what a huge feed, you done real good there mate, those big legs of lamb or lamb shanks or whatever they were. Quality food, You needed a nice stout to wash it down. All in all a top effort again, nice T shirt...10 from me.
