Great video Dave, really enjoyed it. The JBC Spotting footage is my 13 yr old son’s channel, he’ll be rapt to see it on your video. He enjoys going to car shows and uploading content.
Phew that’s a relief Steven. I usually always make contact before using footage but I was late posting last night and thought there’s no way the lad is going to be up and able to give me an answer. I’m glad it’s ok to use it, he joins a thoroughbred list of TH-camrs that have allowed me usage like Jay Leno, Magnus Walker, Jay Emm on Cars and Davide Cironi. It was a bit cheeky putting the courtesy of without permission but glad it’s good with you.
G'day Dave.....Great vid again...Dan is awesome too...Really love your vids...I am a Ford nut , own nothing like these , never will most likely but have a sweet old AU Futura Classic and my beaut FG XR 6 to console myself with..Keep the vids coming...lovely vibe with them ,,,Cheers Rod,,
Loving those XBs. Dan’s a much nicer person than me - when you asked what colour it is, I’d probably just have said “it’s red Dave” and left you hanging 😉
Ive had all the gt falcons when they were cheap. Who knew. But anyway the xb gt is the best gt. My favourite is the xw phase 1 but it doesnt matter what everyones favourite is the best one is the best one and that is the xb gt like or not
I'm a very loyal FORD fanatic. These are some beautiful cars no doubt. But what burns my ass about this is I'm in Australia and lived here my entire life and as long I as can remember there has always been people building mock fake GT FALCONS and there actually was not that many made to begin with. Second these guys are taking all the surplus stock off the market and stripping them for parts leaving a bare useless scrap of a shell. The same thing happened with HQ Holden's when some damn meatheads decided to race HQ Holden's. Now old Ford's and Holden's command record prices $$$ and can hardly be found. We who want to restore a vintage Australian car are left to buy rubbish from rare spares which is not genuine and made in China.
@@DN-WGTN yeah I know. And as a kid I was a 1eyed Ford fanatic but later in my late 20'sor early 30's I found a new liking for all Australian muscle cars. Ford's, Holden's and Chrysler's. I remember even as a 13 year old kid how many mock up GT Falcons I would see on the roads. It happen to all cars even US made cars. People have copied Shelby Mustangs and the Elsinore Mustang. In Australia it was GTR XU1 and SLR5000 Toranas and Valiant chargers and Pacers too. It's actually pathetic.
Wow, I had an identical XBGT in the burnt orange colour, loved it :), sacrilegious to change the colour on that :(, but still a beauty :)
She who must be obeyed had the last say
@@davesclassicgaragetours Yep, totally get that :), cheers
Beautiful classics
Remember them all brand new in showrooms😉

Nice risk management with the protective cover on the Rim Blow steering wheel on the coupe. Does Grand Tourer sell those?
