The last SHF that broke on me was the Sanji from one piece and that figure is 4-5 years old meanwhile MAFEX figures break on people weekly lol and what's even more sad is its their latest released stuff lol
Agreed, it's a shame. Why this company can't fix the QC problems is beyond me. Especially when they clearly can do it right as shown with the Darth Vader and Boba Fett releases. I sold all my mafex figures and took a little bit of lose on them but it was worth getting them out of my collection! The plastic all around is a joke making the feel of the figures so cheap. As a result they all have issues standing on their own, are very loose and has little weight. The toes always move up and have no friction to help hold them up. That company is a nightmare! DareDevil 19 good review and hats off to you for holding your composer when the peg broke (which happens often with these figures). It shows a lot of professionalism on your part. Thanks for the review!

I kno what you mean about their toe joints they always make it an issue standing their figures cause like you said the move up. I actually prefer the Mezco upcoming figure of Suicide Squad, like Harley Quinn, she looks absolutely gorgeous just like in the movie. It's highly likely they will do one for Joker, too.

Seems like an okay figure tbh they did face better on this figure compared to the SH figure which the promo shots looked horrible but the SH Harley is amazing minus it missing the tattoo below her navel. Also would've been great to have the Mezco Batman to compare this figure with.
David Marrero MAFEX did a good job capturing the likeness to Leto with this joker. I don't think SHF did a horrible job with there's looks pretty good but I'll wait till I have it in hand cause I remember SHF widows face looked horrible in promo pics and it actually came out extremely well. I think it releases this month. Can't wait for the Mezco joker too that one looks awesome. If I had the Mezco bvs batman definitely would've compared it with this joker but didn't end up buying it

Also same as well just Mezco has been pretty bad with their releases being pushed back when it comes to DC and Marvel properties the Bvs was suppose to come out in September then they said October then it finally came out in December so they need to get it together on scheduling releases for fans even tho the bvs Batman was worth the wait (it was I have it in hand the photos don't do it justice) just still very unconvinced for people who expect something to come but don't get it.

Al Ch if you're deciding to just get one I definitely go with SHF cause you get much better quality with them. I would always choose SHF over MAFEX cause MAFEX will always have a really bad issue or a bunch with their figures. SHF rarely ever has big issues like that on their figures. Sometimes SHF might rip us off with accessories with some figures but you will always get a good quality figure with them

Is the material for the hands/forearm overly brittle, could it handle a quick 'in and out'? How long are the actual arms so I know where to go when making my own for him? TotalX48 Cause some of them are actually good figures. The shitty problem though is that you don't know if it's gonna be one of the bad ones until you buy it. Not giving Mafex a pass on the crap they put out cause they definitely need to up their consistency but there definitely are some figures that make the gamble worth it. Also, to each there own.

The Meow haha I didn't, I record the accessories part of my review last so everything was recorded but if you noticed the pics at the end his left hand was a fist in pretty much every pic cause I had to crazy glue it on lol

DareDevil 19 I'm getting mine soon from amazon, have already planned on dremeling in some small revoltech joints for the hands and making my own bare arms for him. Is the material for the hands/forearm overly brittle, could it handle a quick 'in and out'? How long are the actual arms so I know where to go when making my own for him?

TotalX48 Cause some of them are actually good figures. The shitty problem though is that you don't know if it's gonna be one of the bad ones until you buy it. Not giving Mafex a pass on the crap they put out cause they definitely need to up their consistency but there definitely are some figures that make the gamble worth it. Also, to each there own.
