- Another Figure or Fodder, where I get to open a group of figures with abandon! And then take pictures of those figures and talk about them in a quick format. Well, quicker than usual...Today it's Medicom MAFEX Suicide Squad Joker in suit, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Harley in gold dress, along with The Dark Knight Rises Bank Robber Joker.

I completely forgot that there wasn't a Squad Batman, that it was BvS Batman....and I had that at some point. I think I gave it away at the time because I hated the Superman so much. Hmmm.
SidTheAstroSloth It’s a terrible figure. There’s only one head sculpt, the skin tone is orange, and the body is too skinny. The Mafex JL Batman would be much better.
Definitely liked seeing part of your collection in the background. Great review as always. The SH Figuarts Will Smith face looked really good even inside the package.
Yeah, I need to crack that open and give it a look sometime soon. I have a feeling he'll look amazing but be too short for what I have on the shelf.

Love these updates to the collection and I think it works in the toy room! I don’t know how filming would work but if you did each figure or fodder in front of the theme you’re talking about similar to this one it would be so cool.
I thought about that but because of the narrowness of the room I can't get much more than a diagonal shot like this. And the opposite way would have my second desk with all my customizing stuff on it, which is a disaster zone, haha.

Really love how giddy you got in this figure or fodder lol it shows how a figure can make use all gush over excitement over how amazing it is. Also I really like the figures in this figure and fodder especially that DeadShot since he scales well with the Mezco BVS Batman despite being taller but it can be fudged in a shot or pose also too I feel kinda disappointed that we never got the full squad.
Since I wanted a good Katana figure along with a Killer Croc and Enchantress because it the characters need love too other then Joker, Harley and DeadShot.
Exactly. I was tempted to get the Mattel ones to fill holes but every time I looked at them....I just couldn't do it. And yeah, gimme some good toys and I'm happy, heh.
The Fwoosh yeah but also those didn't have the greatest articulation so it was an easy pass on the Mattel ones. Also I'm looking forward for the signature series by Mattel since those look great and set in the right direction even seeing people post it on The Fwoosh forums haves me excited for John Wesley Shipp 90's TV Show Flash figure and the review by Brad The DC Universe Geek made me really want him even the Batman despite the cape and head sculpt being off.
Also totally agree! I'm the same way too Robo those dang figures with their awesome sculpts, paint and articulation just look too do that you gotta express that feeling

I dig the toy room location. It sorta fits the whole theme of the video series. I have more SHF than MAFEX so when it comes to movie stuff, I'll probably stick with SHF... or Mezco.

The Batman head that comes with the Dress Harley actually goes on the Mafex BvS Batman. They didn't make a Suicide Squad version as it's the same suit.
Ah, yeah, forgot all about that. And I even had that Bats at one time. Only two figures (Superman too) that I gave away. Now I want it back, looking at eBay prices...

A bunch of great looking figure I personally think Mafex wined in the suicide squad line except on that dressed Harley it looks weird and the face doesn't really look like Margot Robbie at least for me and loved the video I really dig the toy room location better hope you keep it like this keep up the good work man you're really killing it!

After I got her, I took a trip to joanns and had a friend help me pick out the right kind of fabric for Harleys party dress. I made a few when I was testing it out and I'm happy to send you one if you want! It helps make her look less like she's wearing a flat tire on her body.
Whoa, really? Is the rubber dress easy to remove?
The Fwoosh it's just attached at the straps so it's pretty easy to remove. I gust glued into the holes that were left from the rubber dress!
Although it’s nice to see some of your figures in the background, well once you sort the lighting out lol! - I do kind of like the old format with the green screen as it looks a lot more professional imo🤔

Joker is better
if you ever crack open the SHF dead shot, I'd love to see him next to the mafex and the mafex BVS batman. I don't think they ever made a SS one so the head with Harley goes on the BVS release.
Yeah, I forgot they didn't do a Suicide Squad Bats, and I don't have that MAFEX BVS Batman anymore. Argh. At the time I thought, I'll never get any use out of this, Medicom is terrible and I don't care for the DC movies." Yeah, that's why I rarely get rid of anything.

Warm water on Harleys dress makes it tighter.
I just picked up these two Jokers and this Harley. Love the straight jacket, but I can't get the purple coat arms to stick in the shirt torso and I has a sad. The ball pegs are too small.
I like the Mafex Harley in a dress. Granted I don't hsve it in hand but amd I agree it looks boxy, but it's still a pretty stellar piece imo. That said, the regular version does look better as a whole. What I REALLY liked was seeing your Masters Classics in the background and that brings me to my question. Do you have any videos on your collection/toyroom, Robo?
I have one from Jan 2017 but I've since condensed and moved stuff around a little. Not much, I just binned a lot of MOTUC that I didn't really care about and had to move some Star Wars around to there. Star Wars is taking over the room. I need to marry another kid off.
Even though the movie wasn’t received all that well I wish mafex would re-do the suicide squad figures.
If you are a member of Costco, they have these LED light fixtures for $30 that will light up your room excellently. They plug into an outlet and are very easy to hang. You can actually buy those light bulb converters to turn your existing light fixture into an outlet. I think they are less than a buck at Walmart. Just a suggestion if you want more light in your toy room. My basement is my toy room and I have about six of them. It’s like being in fluorescent light without having the worry of UV rays damaging your plastic action figures.
No Costco anywhere around me, unfortunately.

For what it's worth, I like the greenscreen. No one else is doing that, from what I've seen.
I'm definitely more comfortable in front of the screen since I've been doing that for a year and a half now (geez time flies) and I'll still keep that for the Weeklys. Figure or Fodder is so random that it's nice to just sit and do it. But we'll see.
Damn that Deadshot is amazing! I like the Bank robber Joker a lot too. Shame they didn’t/ couldn’t(?) make changes to the Harley in the dress to make it more feminine? But it’s an ok figure.
Yeah, boxy. It's mostly the way the dress hangs, being a rubbery material instead of cloth.
I think this was a turning point for MAFEX and Tamashii, the former upping their game and the latter cutting corners. I got the SHF Harley first and then skipped Deadshot as they skimped on the detail, so she's just hanging alone in the random scale void. I'm liking the toy room (better lighting and you're good to go), though a little distracting :) - How well does Snoke's throne work with other lines like ONE:12/Marvel Legends? I think you reviewed that actually, will have to check if you covered it there, ha
Yeah, I have a review of Snoke's throne up, Loki looks pretty sweet on it. And more lights is on the to-buy list. I get to sit in the toy room, so that's a big won already, haha.

Love those figure /fodder clips. I was on the fence regarding the bank robber joker. Except the Deadshot all of them should be fodder - Mafex will just break in the wrist after 2 times you attempt to pose them. All's good with the location except the lighting.
Yup, lighting is terrible in here, I'm usually just sitting in the dark editing videos in here, or with the top light on and playing with toys on the shelves. But I haven't had a wrist break on a MAFEX ever. I've had a couple fall apart but not break break.
Lucky you.Fall apart with Mafex I'm used to, since 1st Batman. But breakage-It happened to me twice. Love your vids and the recent Bullet Club inspired T's. I'm ordering one as soon as the PX exclusive Deathstroke ships. Being outside of US and having to buy almost every figure I own abroad and paying international shipping ...I have to run on a tight budget , or I'll get a divorce.
Jealous of the Deathstroke. I wanted one but it didn't fit the budget. It was either that or food, haha.

have you got any idea of when we might expect to see some new pictures of the JL Batman from Mafex? I was big time looking forward to the January release and it getting pushed back made
for a rock start to 2018 for me lol.
They usually push most releases back a month or two, although they've gotten better with a couple lately. I didn't pre-order the JL Batman so I didn't realize it got pushed. I know Batman Begins did, but then Catwoman released on time. It's hit and miss.

Toy room is fine Robo. Maybe light it a bit more. Like Dan from toy Galaxy. But I gues thats hard in a small room. Or maybe move your toyroom, then you have all the shelf space you want :)
I had a kid get married and move out last year but still no bigger room. "Move out" is a strong term too, she uses her old room as a storage space. Otherwise I'd have me a Star Wars room and this room would be for everything else. Until the next kid moved out...

I just picked up a bank robber joker and I now get why you hated Mafex. The right shoulder on mine was popped out in the packaging, I can pop it back in, but it now pops out whenever you touch the right arm. It's sooooo infuriating!
Any tips for getting the joints to hold better? It's a ball popping out of the socket 🤔🤔🤔
Try adding some Future floor polish to the ball, thicken it up a bit so it will stay in a little better. And yeah, while I haven't had much trouble with that Bank Robber Joker except some looseness, he's from the dark days of MAFEX.

Just seeing all your stuff I gotta wonder do you just take it all down or what?
I usually wait until I accumulate a bunch of new stuff and then start rearranging. Pull one shelf down, dust, move stuff from one shelf to the dusted one, repeat. And believe me, it was dusty as hell, I had just finished that process right before shooting, haha.

For me the hips on Harley Quinn is just to wide. I also think that she is a little too wide and spread out.
That mafex deadshot is just too big. Compared to the mafex Batman it is just weird how tall deadshot is. Same goes for the mafex Harley
