in the beginning, the bass line is more traditional than usual - even considering the synthy tone - for the channel, but in the third minute of the song the bass playing gets wild. Congratulations to juliaplaysgroove for another outstanding post.
The tone, timing, groove in the more "traditional" parts is awesome.
Yeah he really allows himself to grow with the tune and not dump too much in the beginning and allows you to enjoy the other aspects of the song which is quite ingenious when you consider it. The anticipation must’ve been wild. It would’ve been hard for me I was playing this not to go full on thumpy. Such a groove.

I feel like one day, your creativity is going to really explode and your talent. There's a lot to think about as a bassist in this genre of music, like how the artists would do it. It takes a long time to fully mature as a bassist, like half a lifetime. As you change, so does your music. I see someone who is really good, but has no ceiling to their potential. I think you're just getting started, you seem to be a steady learner and those types usually learn a lot as life goes on.
