- THIS SHOW WAS A MASTERPIECE! 🤩🤩🤩
We are so excited with this season finale! 😱 We were expecting something good but it has surpassed all of our expectations 🤯 Lucy is so strong, and we feel so bad for her, for Maximus and for Coop (and Norm)! 😖 We could see how all their hearts were broken, it was awful, but we loved it! 😂
The irony that is showed here is supreme, and how every piece fits in the end 😮
We can't wait for a second season 🙏
Thank you so much for watching, we hope you enjoy it and have a great day, love you! 💝

Watching Fallout with you two was a lot of fun! It was great to get the perspective of someone who hadn't played the games and didn't know anything about this world. The show was really well done and most of the characters were amazing. Really enjoyed Norman as I didn't expect much from him at first but he definitely became a fan favorite. Also Moldaver is great.
Thank you so much! It was so awesome watching this with you alongside us 💖
The same thing happened to us with Norman. We can't wait to see what he ended up doing 😆
I love how undignified when Henry says the line from the movie.
Also, I can only recommend watching ep8 so it’s really fresh in your memory and then ep 1 if you ever feel like watching again.
Also great reaction to the series 🙂
Thank you so much for commenting!
Right! It's a good idea for a rewatch 😊
30:00 For me, the most amazing thing here was the slow-burn re-contextualization of Moldaver. We meet her when she raids Vault 33 and her minions murder a bunch of vault dwellers, we see her in the past as someone working against Vault-Tec but presented as a "communist" and urging Coop to spy on his wife (and everybody gets upset about that), we see the "Flame Mother" thing and how everybody seems afraid of her and regards her as some kind of monster, and then we see that her raider lair is actually a place where a bunch of people, humans and ghouls, live peacefully with each other, and that her entire mission was to give free power to the wasteland. We also learn that she had a very good reason to ask Coop to spy on his wife, and that the reason she invaded Vault 33 was actually two-fold: to extract the genocidal maniac who had nuked a city of 35,000 people because his wife left him for someone else and took the children, and to get the code that would allow her to finish her mission. Chef's kiss.
Absolutely! One of the most interesting and complex characters of this show. We still feel like we need more info about her to form an opinion, because she's still the kind of person that would do anything to achieve her goal. But so far, we see her as an awesome bada*s who didn't take anyone's sh*t and that pissed off a lot of people haha
That dude Maximus is a mad lad. He goes from being a zealot of the BOS(all be it to a idealized version of it) to being Lucy’s most ardent protectors. He spends 80% of his time in the show protecting her from danger both real and perceived. With no grasp on sex and only a tentative one on Love decides she’s worth sacrificing himself to make sure she can complete her mission.
But then a thought enters his head, he knows Lucy, if she’s walking into enemy territory she is gonna need help, if he dies he can’t give it to her, so (no idea when he crafted this crazy azz plan) he switches up and uses himself and the knowledge of where the relic is to drag not 5 or 6 knights like Lucy originally asked for, but the ENTIRE BOS. And then he closes out by being the head of the spear(without armor) during an invasion to rescue her.😳 Bro is Crazy!
Yes!! Absolutely!
He was so brave. We weren't sure about him at first but he made a full 180º. He's awesome and he cares deeply about his friends.
Cooper Howard mentioned a ranch in Bakersfield... there is a Vault around there that may be the answer to how he became a Ghoul.
Ohh that could be! Nice observation
the city in last scene is New Vegas, for game Fallout New Vegas
Thanks for the info! We didn't know about it
The last shot with the city is Las Vegas, now 'New Vegas' and it's featured in the Fallout game 'Fallout: New Vegas'. The city was essentially run by the Robco guy during the VaultTec meeting scene. The game has multiple endings that left the fate of the city ambiguous, so we'll find out what happened in the next season.
How Moldaver survived for so long isn't answered. But the two main theories are that Moldaver survived because she was 1, a ghoul, or 2, with a deep freeze suit/pod.
I personally don't think she is a ghoul because she would look more like Coop than a non-ghoul. However, Moldaver was part of the research team that created cold fusion, so it's possible that her team may have created the freezing pods as well because VaultTec's corporate vault isn't the only one with the freezing pods. Vault 11 in Fallout 4 has their dwellers frozen as well, so it's likely that the technology is quite abundant, meaning that Moldaver probably used one to survive for so long.
Thank you for the shoutout but the “Thanks” goes to you two for making such enjoyable content. Thanks for always giving us your best and nothing less. 😊
You're so awesome! It really fills our hearts with joy to know you like our channel. We'll continue to work hard in the future 🥰💖 Thanks again ❤️
If you watch this entire reaction playlist, you can see Shuni change from an innocent Vault Dweller into a badass.
LOL 😂 She was transformed by the circumstance
You have to keep in mind that Coopers wife said that there are over 100 vaults across the country. So, that means that Barb isn't necessarily in 31.😊
Right! It would be too much of a coincidence 🤔
Loved seeing your reactions to Fallout, lookong forward to season Two when it comes out. :-)
Thank you! We're waiting patiently as well hehe
This show worked so well because of Ella casted as Lucy. I do not see too many actors who can pull off her range of emotion needed for Lucy's role.
She is Emmy Bound!
Yes! She's so amazing and her voice and face expressions are perfect for the role. Tbh, everyone was very well casted here
32:05 I believe Moldaver survived via the same cryogenic technology as Hank et al. She was a brilliant scientist in 2077 and probably rich from Vault-Tec buying out all the companies she worked for and probably owned stock of, so I assume she had her own bunker with a cryo-pod, knowing where the world was headed. I further assume she was thawed out shortly before the time Rose came to Shady Sands, and became someone high up in the NCR at the time due to her science credentials, survived the nuking of Shady Sands by luck, and then became the head of the remnants of the NCR and relocated the entire outfit to Griffith Observatory.
That's totally makes sense! It would be interesting to get some confirmation about that even if it doesn't matter anymore 😅
Glad you guys enjoyed it. 🙂 This became one of my favourite TV series, it's just so well written, with everything tied to everything else. Plus it's worth re-watching to pick up all the hints, references and foreshadowing they sprinkle through the show. There are tons of them. ("All ten fingers, huh? Must be nice....").
And if you're a giant nerd like me, it's worth playing some of the games (or watching a playthrough) to get an appreciation of the huge amount of work they put in to make the world match the games. Apparently they were given 3D digital game assets by Bethesda to replicate the props, and it shows. Even things like the sound effects for the Pip-Boy are lifted right from the game. Crazy attention to detail.
Bring on Season 2 New Vegas. Game fans went nuts at the secret evil-company meeting. The head of RobCo is Mr House, game players have seen him before and....let's say we'll probably be seeing him again in Season 2. And all their Vault examples are ones you can find in the games.
That's so awesome! We love watching shows and movies that are done with care and respect for the original source. No wonder this show was so cool and interesting to watch.
We're really excited for future seasons and all the adventures this universe holds 😁
Had an awesome time watching this show with you guys! Can't wait to see what you pick next.
Thank you Ray! We loved having you around in our channel 🥰 we hope we can still create content you enjoy watching 🥰
Norm should remove the fusion core in 31. Or sabotage the cooling systems for the pods. It would force Bud to wake them all up.
or he is saved by Betty, who sends him away from Vault 33 to find a replacement for the water chip.
Norm will want to be accompanied by Chet and along the way two other companions will be added: Thaddeus and the chicken-loving doctor/charlatan.
Interesting theories.. it would be a shame if he just agrees to be cryogenized tho
It was nice watching this with you. I enjoy anime as well so I’ll continue to enjoy your content. I love spending time with like minded people all over the world. Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words 💖 we are so glad our videos reached you and kept you a little bit of company from time to time 🤗
30:55 That was an early Christmas gift for Fallout fans. :)
Cool! We really want to know all about it and unveil all the secrets it holds 😁
One possible answer on how Moldaver survived is given in the stuff after the episode. I suspect though that the meeting place of Moldaver's opposition group being at "Hollywood Forever" (which is an actual cemetery btw) might suggest that there's more going on, possibly an alternative to VaultTec for survival.
About Maximus's path forward, I think the reason he gave for joining the Brotherhood is significant in light of Lucy's revelation. The question in my mind is whether the focuses on Hank specifically or VaultTec in general, and how influential he becomes in the BoS.
Absolutely! We can't wait to see how the story moves forward and how it treats these situations.
Moldaver was a very intelligent scientist so she could have come up with another way of self preservation as well, right?
I'm guessing Coop tried to get himself and his daughter Janie to safety but Barb took Janie to the super vault and left coop for dead.
My thoughts exactly
That could totally be it, we don't know how close the vault was to their location
It's not that they *can't* regenerate their noses. It's more of a "diminishing returns" situation; every time they heal, they don't heal to 100% so over time they become disfigured. And, if the injury is bad enough, they just don't survive.
Ohhh thank you for clearing that up 💖🤗
15:00 Now we can finally talk about this without spoiler warnings. :)
I don't believe that Vault-Tec dropped the bombs in the end. Barb said they were ready and willing to do it in the worst case of global peace breaking out, but I believe that China beat them to the punch (China was the US's adversary in the war leading up to the initial nuking). I believe this because if it had been Vault-Tec, Barb would have known the exact day and time, and would have ensured that Janey was safe in a vault with her.
There was chatter on the news in the pre-war sections about the president being suspiciously missing and China losing the conventional war in Alaska, hinting at possible nuclear escalation.
I got the impression that Barb was just the mouthpiece for the upper echelon of Vault Tec. In that meeting she looked up more than once to the ceiling where the bosses were behind glass, or maybe she was looking up at cameras. She seemed also to take cues from some messages coming in on her Pip boy. So I think maybe she wouldn't know the exact timing of the bombs being dropped or been given much warning if it was them.
My current working theory is that if VaultTec DID drop the bombs, they did it in either of two ways.
One being that they actually only dropped the bombs on China, and China was the only one to then drop bombs on the United States, thinking that the government was really behind it. My second theory is that Vault Tec both dropped bombs on China and the United States but used the Chinese nukes as cover to maximize the destruction and death.
What could've also happened was that Vault Tec misread the geopolitical climate and that the Chinese were already in preparation to launch nukes of their own so Vault Tec jumped the gun and wiped both out with each side assuming the other at fault.
Either way, I don't buy the idea that only Vault Tec dropped the bombs. It's much more realistic, for all realism is worth, that Vault Tec used China as a cover.
@@ragefast2813 I strongly suspect that wasn't a VaultTec person giving the orders. I'm betting they were from an organisation mentioned in the show, but I won't say more about them in case people eventually want to go into Season 2 completely blind.
@@ragefast2813 The meeting was between the chiefs of the megacorps. Bud and Barb are the Vault Tec executives running the company. Above a company CEO is the board of directors appointed by the shareholders.
Here is the purpose of the meeting: it was a pitch meeting to potential investors because Vault Tec needed money.
Bud’s pitch failed to interest the other chiefs. Barb stepped in, turned the discussion around, and closed the deal.
I’d say Barb moved up and became CEO. Bud either was demoted or stayed at the same level. He stayed in charge of “HR R&D” aka the Bud’s Buds project, where he is in charge of three vaults. Barb is presumably in charge of all the Vault Tec owned vaults, but not the vaults franchised to the other megacorps.
I really think Bud was CEO at the beginning of the meeting. Barb was COO or a senior vice president. But the board would have rewarded her for saving the company.
The whole debate in the comments was so interesting to read! We aren't sure what to think now. It would be an interesting plot twist if Vault tech wasn't in charge of the bombing, but they are too powerful to not have anything to do with it. We can't wait to find out more about all of this in the future 😁😁
I can definitely see the ‘Westworld’ spiritual successor in this series 🙌🔥🍻
Really? We didn't watch that one 😅
Forbes magazine speculated on what the time frame for a second season right after it came out and they were hoping a second season could be out next year in the late Fall or Winter but, that doesn't seem likely now. The show has become too popular and has completely revitalized the Fallout series for gamers and created probably a new generation of fans. Fallout 76, the multiplayer game for the series, and Fallout 4 which was the last main line single player title in the series both have record numbers of players right now. The current news is thanks to the fact California is giving the show 25 Million dollars to shoot in the state instead of Namibia and there aren't Covid restrictions slowing things down we might be getting the second season sooner than later. I'm just hoping for more episodes and longer episodes myself even if it does push the release into 2026. Amazon already announced a second season right after it came out but we don't have a date for when it starts shooting other than a rumor it'll be this September and or if the release will be in late 2025 or early 2026 but, those are the dates as of now.
That's so awesome! We can't wait for it to come out 😁
It's really cool how the show revitalized the game. We don't have the equipment to play, but we would have started if it weren't for that for sure.
her dad, the pacifist... the one that violently drowned a raider in picklejuice without twinching an eye :D there are crazy things you notice by rewatching :D also, you can see the name of the place the dad is heading to in the ending credits. there are street signs :)
LOL Those were desperate times 😂😂
33:00 Norm is actually holding all the cards, but it depends on how ruthless he is. There is no way Bud (did you notice that the "brain on a roomba" is what remains of Bud Asskiss?) can stop him from sabotaging the cryo-pods. The play is "if you don't let me out, I'll kill all of the bud-sicles." Obviously, that would be straight-up murder if he actually had to carry out the threat, but it is the only play. Hacking probably won't work because Bud is directly wired into the computers.
The moment he gets into a cryo-pod himself, Bud will kill him.
I am so excited for season 2.
You mean physically sabotage the cryopods? If Bud’s Brain needs physical force, he just has to defrost the other Budz. Then they can physically overpower norm. After they deal with norm, they can just be refrozen.
Bud’s Brain can also summon Betty and Stephanie.
I don’t think Bud’s Brain will kill him if Norm voluntarily goes into his dad’s cryopod. How will Bud explain that to Hank? If Norm is frozen, there’s no need to kill him.
Interesting debate! We aren't sure about Bud's intentions. We realized who he was editing this episode 😅
We totally believe that Norm can outsmart him somehow, or at least we hope so 😬
Vault 4 was setup and active before the meeting. That was one of the vaults that was doing active research before the great war and was about making radiation resistant human animal hybrids. axolotls are one species known to be insanely heavily radiation resistant to where they regen lost limbs and are extremely cancer resistant. they can still get it but known cancer causing agents they have to be overexposed to.
Some of the vaults were just doing regular research such as making better crops for instance. A lot of the more insane vaults provided nothing of scientific value and were just cruelty for the sake of cruelty.
Barb would not be in 31 since she was superior to Bud and her looking at the pip boy in the meeting was she received a message from the group of people watching the meeting.
Ohh gotcha! So we wonder where might she be..
@@NerdishReact season two may provide the answer. There is a lot of stuff they hinted at in background shots and ending segments. Let's just the say the games had a lot of scary stuff that a player could run into
You have to pay attention to the "End Credit" graphics. They give you so many clues where the show itself doesn't.
We tried every time haha but since we haven't played the games, we don't really know what to look for so far 😅
@@NerdishReactYes the end-credit graphics tend to favor the fans, but in EP8's end credits there's a billboard advertisement for personal "Cryo-Suites". So Moldaver didn't need Vault-Tech to suspend herself.
@@NerdishReact I've watched several reactions from hardcore fans (FalloutBoys) to non fans of the game and you two did a better job then some of the gamers.
Unlike other video game adaptations that just copies the story line exactly (The Last of Us). The Fallout series is treated like a continuation of the last game in the time-line (Fallout 4). So the next video game release has to follow the show. That's why there a lot of FalloutBoys going feral.
Thank you so much for your comment! We're glad you enjoyed our blind reaction to this universe 😊
I mean, the game could pretty much take any direction if they decide so, right? But we don't see a problem with it following the show, it has such a solid story!
Ah, Rose Maclean, an unfortunate fate she received. Rose sadly turned into one of the most tragic type of Ghoul, The Withered Ghoul.
They are so old and very radiated that they are so easily kill, and can't regenerate. Moldaver must have keeps Rose there all that time because she felt guilty, and can't let go of her past/friend.
Fun fact: The man who's the head of RobCo. is Robert House, one of the most important figure in Fallout: New Vegas. I don't wanna talk too much about him, we need to watch Season 2 first.
Head of Westek DID developed what they want to do, they created the F.E.V. (Force Evolution Virus) and both successfully and failed at the same time. Super Mutant does exist in the Wasteland and they are dangerous, especially when they were control by a certain figure called "The Master". It's not Vault 4 though.
Many ideas in the corporates meeting was indeed happened across different vaults in U.S.
Yes, the season 2 already hint the next big location. New Vegas (Las Vegas), the only place that doesn't really affected by the great war, but it's constantly at war by the factions that live around there.
Apparently The NCR (New California Republic) and BoS (Brotherhood of Steel) had been hating each other in a long while now, they always at war whenever they meet up.
The Skull in the end is a skull of one of the most dangerous creatures in Wasteland, The Deathclaw. Not even a fully decked armored knight can kill it one on one- unless you're lucky.
It was hinted in the end scene that Moldaver probably was in a Cryo Suite, hence why she's alive.
Thank you for all the information! We can't wait to see the next season and to find out more about all of this.
But we really don't want anyone to encounter a Deathclaw, if they are as dangerous as you say 😬
"Moldaver is not a good person", LOL. Nobody is.
Heck, my first time playing Fallout 4, I shot one of those two headed cows they use to carry goods and merchandise across the wasteland just because.
Just "OMG, what IS that thing? Better just shoot it, Ka-blam!"
IIRC, Bethesda literally had to go in and re-program the games so you can't shoot at kids, which means that someone was actually doing it at some point.
Right, we discussed this in one of the fallout reactions. There's (almost) not such thing as good or bad people, just people who act good or bad sometimes.
There is no infinite power, Fusion and Cold Fusion produce same amount energy, only "room temperature" cold fusion should be cheaper to produce, but since way more advanced, can be equally or even more expensive.
What the city got in the end is just electricity, cause power source got switched on, and question of "free energy" is: charge the people for services or not. While method of producing energy (fusion, cold fusion, fision, what ever) is important as technological leap forward as advancement of tech and "society", but means nothing regarding free energy.
Interesting! Thank you for your insights!!
@@NerdishReact it will likely turn out something like that in season 2. Things are not simple nor rosy..
