I want to congratulate you in advance for a great car you will be having. It is in good hands. And yes, one day this actual car ( if it will be around not crashed ), will be 1 Million Dollar. Probably after Larry won't be alive.
@@onionrudnik6576 I've worked at two garages for the last 12 years and I guarantee there has been a job go wrong or bolts loose. It's not good but it sadly happens, it doesn't mean "FYeahSpec" is shit. If I ever had the money and car I'd trust them with my vehicle 100%
Lol. I am the same. Saw Larry's appraisal yesterday 🇬🇧. I had a sneaky feeling it may end up at Tommy's maybe to sort a few issues out. I'm so stoked that it has. Plus it's getting more than an oil change. Can't wait to see the outcome.
You guys should start rebuilding the ABS pumps, they're not as difficult as you might think. We do heaps of them in NZ. Majority of the leaks are just the orings on the 4 tubes that sit between the valves. But all the orings in them are pretty easily replicable.
I love the way these two guys have a real passion for car and the actual culture behind all the madness. It was a real treat to get the guys alone just to shoot the shit!
Damn this is gonna be such a good one👌👌👌👌Between the color, the pristine condition and the fact that it's the legend Larry chens. I bet this one turns out to be one of the sickest to come out of the shop as far as the more oem route goes. Can't wait🙏
Damn, all the good videos dropped this morning/afternoon....fyeah, noway, Dustin and motion auto. I've only ever had "abs" come on in the winter time with snow and ice. And I fucking HATE when it kicks on and the pedal goes waaaay down and it just keeps moving forward. I hit a 90° turn in my cobalt ss and hit rocks on the edge....started sliding to the curb when I hit the brakes. No abs came on, but I just let off the brakes for a millisecond and back on the gas. No problem
I really hope the cash customers unaffiliated to TH-cam get taken care of. Some of these cars have been there for so long. I bet parts are back ordered but my goodness some of these sit forever
Been following tommy for a long time and just so sick to see the amount of knowledge and trust dropped. This is what car people need. Everyone is here to help everyone! Keep it up
I love the attention to detail you put into all the cars you work on... and love your passion for what the original Japanese engineers designed 30 years ago... and I feel if they had the same technology we had today... they would of done the same things. Keep it up man! It's awesome
Make sure everything you do on the intake side is 50 states carb legal with a sticker. Don't even think about touching anything before the catalytic converter or the fuel system. Good luck passing a sniffer test with a tune too with 400hp. It would be very hard to sneak past a smog tech. Will be interesting!
There are so many amazing configurations and “options” with how Tommy and his shop can build your whole car. Can only dream of having a car like that in his shop
Lol here in New Zealand early 2000s there were containers of front cuts ,front pillars cut flush and cut where the gbox ends comming from Japan to our work ,R32GTR cuts buy the dozens,Many a A31 or C33 ,silvias, gtst or even early vl Commodores with RB26DETTS we were the first country in the 80s to get huge quanity of second hand because by then our little auto industry had died so nothing to protect and no cheap cars so we got JDM cars imported by the thousand, the huge roll on roll off car carriers from Japan would dock downtown and unload all these cars and fill the wharf with mostly shit but a lotta JDM Muscle, series 1 SA22 RX7s by the thousands i had 5 off them, every cool cxar and many many wierd fast stuff like 83 carina hatchs with 1800cc 2 plug 3geute or something turbo ,5spd rear lsd, air, elec everything
i get it, We see the usual hyped Gunmetal grey, black, and white R32.. but larry chen's red one? that's something new for a change. I'd do the same thing too for a street R32 GtR.. something different for a change and different wheels besides the Usual Oem , te37SL, ce28n, Work Wheels, Nismo wheels, . A different wheel option that brings out the and compliment the bodyline of the R32.
Have you guys considered making a kit that allows the use of the newer BMW or Bosch ABS units? They actually work unlike the older stuff and offer a good bit of advantage for motorsports use.
So hyped to see this. I been watching Larry as long as you and also his new Hagerty stuff especially with this car. Incredible. Was hoping he'd even get to stop by but to bring the car???? Tommy keep going there is no limit !
@@ScoobyDoobieDoo555 I mean if I was at the point of thinking "yeah I want to spend 20k getting this restored" it's probably not going to be in mint showroom condition to start with...
Nooo.. I thought Larry was just goin to leave it close to Nissan OEM spec as possible! Northern is more rust prone..Larry’s R32 must’ve escaped the salted ice roads! Good luck with the GT-R which ever way you decide to go!
not sure if the conversation was had but if it were mine i would want to retain as much parts that were original to this car as possible, instead of the swap out scenarios we've seen in the past. please do larry right on this.
All these big names coming into Tommy’s show really makes me fuzzy inside. I watched tommy when he was on ruddys channel first at the chop shop. Now big names want their cars done fyeah spec, incredible
I think if he executes this ca compliant build nicely, tommy is gonna have an insane amount of new customers. This could potentially be ground breaking for CA skyline owners.
Would love to talk 🦃 soon as possible. Bless . I grew up with a 1976 BMW 2002 in nyc . Use to go to lime rock in 90s . Trying to purchase something soon
Love the classics but cough cough, I want to build a 1/1 GTR 2017 spec with a custom manual not because fast but just a functional nothing crazy exterior OEM spec. 666hp preferably lol! Y’all welcome to try it first!
Knowing how much Larry’s car was appraised for, do you think the work you do increases or decreases the value of these cars from an appraisers point of view? On one hand you’re obviously improving on the faults of Nissan, but straying slightly away from OEM.
Lots of hate in here. Time will tell how successful the shop is on customer cars moving forward. Getting a dyno to run the cars through their paces would be a great investment. I believe Tommy and his techs will be successful.
Thank you guys so much for your support! Looking forward to getting it back!
Thank you Larry! For all the years of straight 🔥 photography 📸 and sharing it with us!

i‘m so excited for that gtr build! idol 🫶🏼
Im stoked
I've seen tons of videos with Larry he seems like such a down-to-earth chill dude
Was just thinking the same.
I saw him at FD Stl and he was super chill. He was working and still stopped when people asked to take a pic with him.
I knew larry chen cuz of speedhunters
So. the exact opposite of Tommy.
Can confirm. I met him at FD Texas some years ago. He was super friendly to me and my friend. Him and Jared (FD MC) were cracking jokes
It's crazy that Larry Chen makes everyone around him behave maturely. When Tommy is around Larry Chen, he becomes a gentleman LMAO
hahaha every time he's around him lol , I noticed that when he was at willow springs
Lmaoooo facts and it's probably because he has so much respect for Larry and with everyone else he's just do what boys do
if he is not best friend or close with someone, yes you try to stay humble :D

The AH3's look so damn good, also Nissan killed it with the stock wheels, one of the best looking wheels that came from the factory.
i love how guys in AUS usually put massive slicks on the stock wheels when doing drag racing in their r32’s
Larry's vibe is so chill and he seems to be so cool to hang with.

ARC super induction box might be a viable option as well.

Car is gonna be fire! Getting the ol FYEAH spec.

After watching his video about your R33 I had a pretty good feeling he was going to get the Fyeahspec treatment on his R32.
Larry chen is an absolute boss. Love this dude
