It wouldn't be such a tragedy if the game would actually be playable. As long as we can do the things to progress in the game, we'd be fine, but we can't even do that.
Considering how feature incomplete the game is, I'd say Solar Crown needs about a year of development since pretty much all the features that make a TDU game are missing. And that's before even considering the technical mess the game is currently. I'd say it's 50-50 chances whether this will be able to bounce back, but as it is now it's not looking good.

The only thing positive I have to say about the game is the car sounds and the handling somewhat feels good. Other than that this game needs a complete overhaul yesterday.
I hope I’m wrong but as of now I doubt this game will have a happy ending like Cyberpunk They have server costs and Nacon is not like CDPR, I’m not sure they have the funds, manpower or willpower to invest 2/4 years in fixing it…the whole situation is sad

considering Nacon stock markets are currently on the way of the Ubisoft as I'm writing this, I had a hunch that in few months from now, they will announce that they're shutting down TDUSC servers for good
My issue is the developer's vision and what the players actually want don't match. So I don't think it'll make a comeback. The game was not designed properly from the get go. They're building a game nobody asked for. The Crew 2 and even Motorfest feel more like TDU games than this.

Entire foundation of the game needs an overhaul, and like you said that would take a lot of time and money on their end to do that. It's an always online game, with EVERYTHING focused around that aspect; but the servers continue to have issues, races never have anyone joining, no offline mode, player count in a downward spiral, with tons of content missing such as the casino, properties, etc. Of course, they played the "future roadmap" card, but note the game was already delayed for years, and for them to still say things are coming soon, and for the game to release in the broken way it did shows that internally the project is being completely mismanaged. Don't have high hopes for any coming back on this one.

I’ve been seeing the race reward bug too. I think it is being reset after 24 hrs but the first one you do after 24 hr reset is only giving half of the reward. Then you can continue to do the next 4 and get full rewards, then decay happens on the actual 6th. I tested this last night on multiple popular races I do…😅
Be real... the expectations of seeing the game's comeback to me is wayy too high that its common in modern gaming that i have no hope. More power to them if they can make it happen, but alas, no expectations

@@nfsiiihpI usually pick and choose what I wanna do with the time I have and pick away at them. Exploring the roads in the game gives you a TON of XP. If you’re at 30% discover roads each percentage is 3000x then when it goes to 40% goes to 4000 XP Every 1%. You level up pretty quick. 50-60 is a little slower but getting to 50 is a breeze.

Thanks. I'm level 60 and 100 or so hours played. There's a great game here just waiting to be unleashed with a bit of love. I'm surprised there has been no no mini patch / hotfix to fix the issue of the Solar Pass not showing up for many people. The solution is to restart multiple times. Ironically I've had no problems with this. Another quick fix would be to tone down the AI aggressiveness. Longer term the game badly needs the multiplayer system revamped. An interim fix would be to reduce the number of ranked races to say 2 and then have them starting every 30 minutes. That's more or less what Forza Motorsport does. I've just been finishing off the weekly playlist on Forza Horizon 5. I did all the races in coop mode with other players against the AI. No server / distance issues despite me living in New Zealand. So multi platform / multi region also needs to be implemented.

I’m level 58 and enjoying the game a lot. People complain about this game and they’re not wrong it’s missing a lot of features, but for a driving game it’s enjoyable just to take the car you just worked for and take a cruise around the map and explore the roads. People want everything right away and want to put no work in. I like a game where you have to work for a new car which this game does right.
There’s fundamental problems with TDU as you listed lack of cross play to consoles cross region makes it harder to get ranked races plus then you gotta win the race if only 2 players to actually gain xp the requirements are to strict making it very challenging for normal players to get to solar court rank for the car for me if you got to win the ranked races to get xp makes it totally pointless for me to bother

It’s one of the best games for just buying the cars and cruising around. I’ve put 80 hours into this game and have never played a car game that much ever. The car sounds are so well done I’ll hop in my hyper car turn my volume to 90 and just drive around. The map is one of the best layouts I’ve seen. This game has a lot of potential. I wasn’t going to buy this game but I watched a few videos of the super car/hyper cars and I was sold even tho I knew it was lacking features.

"Loan" to develop the game > developing game with heavy title > can’t successfully deliver the good experience from its predecessor > no one buys > forced to borrow more money > previous loan has increased interest > can’t focus on giving good experience for player > bankruptcy. So many players already tired of always online and not own the game they bought.
are players in races only cued up from the lobby? if thats the case no wonder no one joins especially with ranked. If they dont change it to cue players from all servers in ur region even opening it up to crossplay isnt gonna improve things.

Im a HUGE fan of the Test Drive games in all iterations. Started with Test Drive 5 on the PlayStation 1. I know the game is always online but I always like to buy a Physical Copy if I can. Its taken me a while, but I finally got a copy shipped to me. So I won't be playing until it gets here on Oct. 10. Hopefully my experience will be better since they have had time to work out the day 1 bugs. (Im playing on XBOX)
Here is a major bug that’s In Xbox. My friend had his usb ports completely turn off because of test drive and my controller is now completely broke because the left and right sticks are moving every which way constantly and the controller was perfectly fine before test drive
I liked (LIKED) TDUSC more than TCM but Nacon should've given the TD rights back to Eden- HKI is way too empty and sterile comparing to TCM, some of the car salons are so confusing, the Clans were unecessary and the Sharps are favorized npt only by the players BUT ALSO THE GAME ITSELF, the turning on hairpins and sharp turns seems like it's competing with Crew 1 and NFS15 for the "annoying steering" title, and the AI lives a different world, sometimes they can beat you in a 200lower than player car BUT let the rain start and they'll dance and fall of ledges etc
I just deleted the game, 120 hours in, all is done but I’ll check back in when season 2 starts on ps5 pro. If doesn’t run 4K with decent 60fps and graphics that will probably be the last than. Gives the developers another 70 days to fix

On wheel this game is very good, better then crew motorfest. So i would say if they open regions, give us littlebit more costumizing, let the races keep giving us same money after 5 times doing it ithink this games can make a come back. No mans sky was even more broken and is now a very good game with VR. They just need to put all there people on the servers and nothing else to fix. Iam level 60 have almost done all the challenges. So now the server issues are getting on my nervse because only thing i still can do is racing with friends but that doesn't work, whats sad because i actually enjoying this game. Since release ive almost not played gran turismo 7 anymore

Block love ur channel but I think most of us have given up on this game just because we played TDU when we were young doesn't me they can serve us this garbage. I cudnt wait for this game to come out but ya what a let down.even when I get bored of motorfest I go back and play crew 2 which was what 2019 and everything about these games is great and there's reasons to keep playing unlocking cars in the summits. Weather it's the hugh map of C2 or just the beauty of motorfest TDU is like an old game that doesn't offer much,love your channel pal keep up the good work ❤

Yes it can and Im not a fan of GTA. TDUSC needs another year once all the major updates get released wheree we haave Ibiza, the casino and housing. But I personally am looking most forward to the casino. I totally understand it can take a while for the deveelopers to get thee gamee working the way they intended and im still enjoying the game but I do think this release has been very bad overall, but I will give it a year before I ever talk bad about it. You also need to understand the Devs are FRENCH so there is a languange barrier with a mostly English fanbase.
Blocked, Man, I have to say this might be the first game I have ever bought that I actually regret buying. I have shelved it for now, I just dont enjoy it. I dont like the physics or the handling. I dont see the point in grinding up anything at this time since from what I am hearing it sounds like Nacon's actual future is in question over this abysmal launch. I have said it many times, but the game should not be so resource hungry for the fidelity it displays. I dont want every single race to be so try hard, I want to be able to just enjoy casual races if I want to. I do not enjoy the lack of car variety imposed by the car prices, even worse when they increased the prices on the special edition cars by at least 2x. I have lost faith in the developers because it seems like everything they have done has just made the game worse at every turn. I am stepping away from the game and will watch the videos that come out about it to see if it is able to pull itself out of this death spiral it has already found itself in. I will just go back to The Crew and Forza for now and see if anything changes, but at this time, the game just isnt worth my time to me.

Can’t have a comeback when the way the game was made was reason for failure..no body customization is a main factor and no substance to the races..
@@IxMADMANxl Yeah I had a feeling it wasn’t going to have bodykits and stuff, but after doing the races it’s kind of made me going to The Crew 2 more and NFS Heat 😂
@@Blockedinsight nice and I started new acc in motorfest and after 10 playlist I was at 4.7 mil bucks and only spent 360k for playlist…that means I made 4.4 mil bucks

this, and with The Crew 2, Motorfest, NFS Unbound, Gran Turismo 7, and even everyone's favorite punching bag that is Forza Horizon 5 are much better products in general, it's only a matter of time until these numbnuts announcing that they're shutting down TDUSC servers for good, and people will moved along as if nothing happened

On wheel this game is very good, better then crew motorfest. So i would say if they open regions, give us littlebit more costumizing, let the races keep giving us same money after 5 times doing it ithink this games can make a come back. No mans sky was even more broken and is now a very good game with VR. They just need to put all there people on the servers and nothing else to fix. Iam level 60 have almost done all the challenges. So now the server issues are getting on my nervse because only thing i still can do is racing with friends but that doesn't work, whats sad because i actually enjoying this game. Since release ive almost not played gran turismo 7 anymore

Block love ur channel but I think most of us have given up on this game just because we played TDU when we were young doesn't me they can serve us this garbage. I cudnt wait for this game to come out but ya what a let down.even when I get bored of motorfest I go back and play crew 2 which was what 2019 and everything about these games is great and there's reasons to keep playing unlocking cars in the summits. Weather it's the hugh map of C2 or just the beauty of motorfest TDU is like an old game that doesn't offer much,love your channel pal keep up the good work ❤

Yes it can and Im not a fan of GTA. TDUSC needs another year once all the major updates get released wheree we haave Ibiza, the casino and housing. But I personally am looking most forward to the casino. I totally understand it can take a while for the deveelopers to get thee gamee working the way they intended and im still enjoying the game but I do think this release has been very bad overall, but I will give it a year before I ever talk bad about it. You also need to understand the Devs are FRENCH so there is a languange barrier with a mostly English fanbase.

Blocked, Man, I have to say this might be the first game I have ever bought that I actually regret buying. I have shelved it for now, I just dont enjoy it. I dont like the physics or the handling. I dont see the point in grinding up anything at this time since from what I am hearing it sounds like Nacon's actual future is in question over this abysmal launch. I have said it many times, but the game should not be so resource hungry for the fidelity it displays. I dont want every single race to be so try hard, I want to be able to just enjoy casual races if I want to. I do not enjoy the lack of car variety imposed by the car prices, even worse when they increased the prices on the special edition cars by at least 2x. I have lost faith in the developers because it seems like everything they have done has just made the game worse at every turn. I am stepping away from the game and will watch the videos that come out about it to see if it is able to pull itself out of this death spiral it has already found itself in. I will just go back to The Crew and Forza for now and see if anything changes, but at this time, the game just isnt worth my time to me.
