I've been listening to ASMR and Maria in particular for over 5 years, and I've only just discovered that my main tingle isn't actually the noises, it's the slow hand movements that go with the tapping. I can literally feel it going through my brain😍
same here! i find that i enjoy her tapping LOTS while asmrists like Haven that do steady non-rhythmic tapping don't really give me tingles. don't get me wrong it's relaxing, but the interesting hand movements just make it so much more better lol

Tathym McBride, I used to chew my nails to bleeding before I started making these video and then my view of my hands has changed. It takes time and skill, so don't overthink it, groomed is the goal, they don't have to be long, just groomed is perfection! 😙 thank you for the compliment, sister 🌹

Me too, Maria inspired me to try to stop biting my nails, I haven’t chewed them in weeks! My strategy is to paint them because I never bite them when they are painted because I never want to ruin the polish.

4 months ago and I was back yesterday and again today. This one will always be my favorite. Yesterday I used it as background noise while I cooked and it was the first time I had ever seen the end! I find the tapping very meditative after a stressful day and I have grown to love zoning out after work.

The cleansing your pallet trick works wonders every time! I don't know if it works because I believe it works or if the contrast of sounds actually does the trick... Either way - I love it and I wish that part of the video was longer. Hope you one day explore the idea again!
