Nostalgia... When I was young like primary schooler, my family had over 300 of them. Then we move to oversea, and I'm now University student. I miss the old fun day when I can play with them, and when they follow me around the house, and how we don't have a barn or any coop for them but they were still with my family. And when the night falls they would fly up to the large mango trees and sleep up there, and for the hens with their eggs, they would nesting between my dad's plant pots that sit around our home.
Sometimes, the mother hen would leave their nests with their chicks even if few of their eggs haven't finish hatching. So we would take the unfinished hatching eggs into our home and keep it in a warm spot so the baby can continue coming out. When it can be running after someone on their own, we then release the chicks back to their mother hen.

I've seen a lot of fancy chicken breeds but I still think these are some of the most beautiful.
They are beautiful roosters. I grew up with some like that. They are nature's alarm clock whether you like it or not. Too loud, too early. It's time to get up.

You dont understand dont you . These are wild WILD WILD WILD and can be found in southeast asia.even here in Philippines, they are hard to catch. And you should be thankful if werent for this Red jungle fowls, we dont have cockfighting chickens or the chickens you eat, because all of the chicken breeds came from this RED JUNGLE FOWL, they were the grandfather of all chicken breeds. They were domesticated very very long time ago. So stoo complaining about that there is nothing special about our RED JUNGLE FOWLS.
