That's not true if two samurai fought and one is disarmed literally he has to finish him it's how it's done in Japan so what jack did was proper not disrespectful

Yeah, even with the most basic understanding of samurai and warriors in general, it feels like it would be FAR more disrespectful to do something like take their arms and leave them alive.

Not only that, but samurai were legally allowed (and frequently willing) to kill peasants for merely disrespecting them (and something as simple as accidentally bumping into the samurai's sheathed sword could count as sufficient disrespect to deserve death). Some would even practice *tsujigiri* - testing out the sharpness of a new sword by cutting down an innocent civilian at a crossroads - with impunity.

Everyone was tortured, controlled and killed off because of Aku. Jack was the hero to save them. That was his purpose, and motivation to get home. He didn't just fight because he likes it...
Going into this knowing absolutely nothing about our childhood SAMURAI JACK is crazy. *Nothing* was better than when Jack came on Cartoon Network back in the day. Maybe it just didn't hit the same for y'all, idk. Ik people are into different things, but that's crazy tho, fr. This show is GOATED. 😭😤
