Honestly, DMZ is dead to me now, don't see the point in going back to a massively inferior game. They aren't exactly the same but they are in the same genre, DMZ has no future, DF is better and it's only just come out.
Unfortunately COD threw away the best thing they have ever created just to destroy Warzone. Hopefully Delta Force can deliver for some of the DMZ fans wanting more.

As a colour blind player I cannot tell the difference between ammo and gear colours. Adding Roman numerals to the tile in stash would be a great way to avoid adding a colour blind option. Also showing item value when you have an item on the floor or a table would be great.
It's incredibly exciting that it's going to console, as a PC player who normally plays FPS games with a controller, I cannot wait to play with y'all console players (and use my xbox elite 2 controller lol)
changing hit scan to cover legs and arms with chest armour would completely negate rip ammo and for that reason i don’t think they’ll be able to add that. perhaps make arms covered by armour but not legs? would still solve a lot of ttk issues but not negate an entire ammo type
I gave a last shot on DMZ yesterday and went solo there. I died in less than 5 minutes by a squad of 3. I asked to revive me but was just ignored and looted. So now...even if there missions I still could finish there, DMZ is done. I wish there was an option to non PVP in DMZ and just coop with very hard AI and lots of Bosses. DMZ Halloween event was very cool.
I agree with this the ttk feels very inconsistent, some games you will have great fight with players other games you'll die in 100 ms and it feels really bad.
In the mission section, I am currently level 26, and I still have non-stop missions in Zero Dam. Will the missions in Zero Dam end eventually, or are they infinite? OCD kind of forcing me to finish the tasks in Zero Dam before moving on to the next map. Thanks a lot!
Whenever I load into a match it takes like 3 minutes to load all the buildings then I have random framerate dips for antoher 3 minutes. Is there a fix for this, or is my pc just shit?
If you hate getting shot in the legs and arms, get behind cover. It’s how I stay alive. I have no complaints about this. All of the players from cod and other FPS games all expect the same thing. Let this game be unique and F fixing something that’s not broken. Adapt. If you can’t play cod.
@RaceAgnstTime I agree too i love the pacing of this game as well as the more realistic ttk also arm and leg shots? They do like 17 dmg thats 5 or 6 shots I think people are misunderstanding ammo lv vs armour lv and getting killed by better ammo

And dont forget people like me who play casualy a PVE mode only will be a blast with my friends. And with deep missions and different enemies so we can lost good 30 min in the zone
The problem I have with games that use names like Delta Force, Navy SEALs , and Ranger is how those units are displayed in game. Games that did a good job at depicting those units were Socom Navy SEALs as they worked with member of the Navy special warfare Department and Seals to help capture some of the identity and tactics. Additionally, games like Medal of Honor war fighters was a good partial representation even if the DOD and other people had an issue with them using the names of the terrorist units we fought against during OEF. There were even a few SEALs that got reprimanded by their involvement with the game. However, when have SEALs not opened their big mouths? The truth is this game from what I have seen Does not represent any of the things that 1st SFOD-D or many other units within the Socom/JSOC that I know of. They should just pick a different name and lower the expectations of what the game is going to try and cover. Yes I do know that they are going to be recreating the whole Blackhawk down thing in a story mode in hopefully they will cover it more truthfully than Hollywood and include it with the 10th mountain division did during that time as well. This would be a great opportunity to do so!

Look what happened across years with series such as Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Battlefield, Operation Flashpoint or now Delta. If you cant monetize it, they arent interested in it. Why there are few really cool games, such as Ready or Not, Ground Branch, 6 Days in Fallujah and probably few more, that have veeery slow development? Because nobody wants to spend millions on coop-pvp game that cant sell clown outfits or charms for your weapons, while devs are trying to be truthful to realistic and tactical approach. Thats the problem of modern gaming and I dont know if we crawl out of that space anytime soon. Unless some big crash will happen, we can just observe this situation.
it is realistic than with all body armor, it requires team work not running around like headless chicken separated from team, i hope that they will make better skins for snipers - ghillie suit, desert colors or some camo for cement urban area
I really like the ttk rn i think it's in a beautiful place. I love that I can shoot arms and legs to avoid hurting armor that I want to pick up off other players. If you go to the range, you can see that arm and leg shots do less damage than chest and head shots, not accounting for armour i believe its about 17 dmg average for most guns for arm and legs and about 25 for chest and 55 for head depending on the gun. It is a viable tactic if you have the skill to shoot arms and legs of oponents who have a higher armour lv than your ammo lv but being that their gear is so high its likely their ammo is better than your armour and they will easily 3 to 4 shot you where as even with perfect aim you will need to hit them 5 to 6 times in the limbs to kill them this puts alot of skill and game knowledge buffs to players and creates a higher ceiling to grow in to
Why dont they do armour classes, light fast armour, limited to small backpacks, heavy slow movement armour, that can hold all backpack sizes and something in between, medium armour, medium movement speeds small or medium backpacks.
Personally I like the idea of armor only covering what it looks like to cover. Maybe add armor variants for higher tiers that give leg protection with correct visuals. Right now operations game mode feels good and not fast paced adhd cod like that I feared in begining.
I ain’t played it yet interesting video glad to see your enjoying it. But I like the idea of arm and leg damage being deadly after all it’s more realistic that way in my opinion
The TTK is fine. I’m sick of gamers coming from other games where they cater to cry babies. If you don’t like it play COD or something else. Leave the game alone. Trying to bring over the same dam ideas from other games is what makes games fail. I like how it is. I have 0 complaints. Again don’t like how it is, play something else.
the game is good, ttk is too fast and if they add 50 to 85 to health it would add 2-3 bullets more to kill, missions-contracts are ok, for me they r not boring, and as far as I know devs said there will be updates to those with every season, they also said there will be events and that would also add ti diversity of content... but the biggest issue I have with game is that anyone can enter easy modes with high gear equipment and heave no trouble in wiping the lobby, there should be limits to what you can carry in lobbies where people are either regenerating or are new to game..
A limit may be a good idea. However, I think it will change as people get into higher levels. These players will no longer want to play easy mode. Only time will tell.
like in the vid, plate damage is perfect, but the flesh damage is a tiny bit too fast, however i think that its cool because it forces you to have plates and your vulnerible without one, like irl, i think its fine now but if they do change it i hope not that much

Ttk should be higher on none crit zones of the body, why they don't have that from the get go is baffling but armor on legs and arms? Not with some significant mobility penalties does this make any sense, they are going for realism.

They’ve got all the ingredients to make the game we are all asking for but they just keep going back to the original formula. It’s interesting to think that not so long from now we may have the ability to have AI create custom games for our preferred playing style.
Warzone is a mess and was thinking about switching to this but you can't use your controller even on steam. Im sooo bad on mouse and keyboard but still have fun. Controller thing is holding me back from going full into it
delta force doesn't care what we say, honestly. There has been bugs since day one that needs to be fixed that still hasn't. the vacuum cleaner sound needs to go, random invisible pole at the dam extract, aiming down sights and then coming out of aiming screen pixel lost, switching to ammo means switch not just when it wants to run random ammo through your gun which is noticed during fights, random tabbing through backpack and you start randomly moving all crazy until you get to cancel it again with tabbing, seead's aimbot needs tuning lol, submachine guns damage vs assault rifles is insane. a uzi should not be able to out shoot a car 15 or m4a1 with the same recruit ticket you should not be able to load into a game using a ticket with someone using blue ammo and blue armor. the match making is insane. Also the anti cheat sucks badly.
@ElClaptain just keep it grounded is all. But the same 6 skins killing same operator again and again default skin gets tiring. Now cod needs that feature cuc tired of seeing silly characters like sharks dragons etc
me and a few friends play operations and for sum reason we will load up and almost load in but then it will send us back to the lobby then we have to rejoin like 4 minutes late, our pc's aren't good but it runs it well and im sure if it didnt just send us to the lobby we would be in faster
You 100% lost me at armor covering limbs… if this is a change that is needed, a better option would be decreased damage to limbs that decrease more distally.

the movement man I have no problem with short ttk but short TTK without movement is baaaad like why can't all characters at least slide give the sliding operator a wall run instead or something nothing like Titanfall 2 it doesn't work in this game but at least a short wallrun
I really can't wait till this comes out on console... I just hope they do a full server wipe when console comes out because if not itll be like a noob trying to play and do missions in DMZ in 2024... all pc players will be geared and have ultimate map knowledge over any console gamer which is bullshit cause PC already has a full ass advantage in fps games.
Game mode recommendation: Squad death match, where Squads can kill other sqauds but they'll have to do the objective at the same time such as capturing the objective and the squads are able to revive each other if a downed teammate doesn't get revived, the respawn timer will increase each time they die as the game gets closer and closer to the end. The squad with the most kills and objective will win the game and this will enhance proper team play amongst squad, this will basically be a battle royale game but a lot less competitive. I feel like this game mode I recommended is somewhat great for players looking for a middle ground for a somewhat competitive mode, it's not so competitive that players will quit the game if they're not good and it's competitive enough for casual players wanting something slightly more serious
Game is fun but they have to do a better time banning cheaters. Battle Pass weekly limits is a joke. You pay for the pass and are stopped at weekly level limit. Stupid. Twitch drops aren't being given is huge issue. Customer service is horrible. I think its a language thing but still no drops and I have tons coming from watching videos on Twitch. TTK is ok because I like I always have a chance to kill players. I aim at arms and chest. Win a ton of fights that way. They do same thing in other extraction shooters like Arena Breakout Infinite(leg kills are common place) You have to learn what is fastest way to kill others. Missions are good but not great. Still waiting for SOLO ONLY mode that Chinese version has. I like the one person per character idea you have. I play both games to get more rewards. Too many at first now am bored since Battle Pass is at limit for week. Level 23.5 and stopping is kind of crazy. Love the videos.
I loved dmz, iam not a big pvp player and i treated dmz as a pve mode, with other players as an annoyance. But once the updates stopped, dmz became pretty much full on pvp. I dont blame players for pvp, if its all that is left to enjoy the mode, then thats how it is. But iam after a more tactical extraction game and my options are open!
The gameplay just doesn't look that great to me. Fired a few shots ran back & took a jab, again & again & again etc Why pick a different skin if you look like default to enemies?? Or did i hear that wrong? Maybe it's more fun to play than to watch
I recommend everyone try stuff for themselves and to not listen to the good or bad things creators say about a game. When I watched DMZ before I played it, it looked boring and something I was not interested in. That changed when I actually played it.
Hey. Thats like combination of good, weird and bad takes, all in one. Optimization is awesome. I havent heard about a singular issue on that matter, so closed tests where close to home, which is awesome. No stutters, crazy desync or anything that is common to CoD. This aspect feels amazing. Not calling game P2W is rough though. You are literally getting 2x3 secure container for having BP (for season duration) and plenty and I mean PLENTY of stuff that you can either sell on market or will get you fully kitted early on to jump faster into mid-late game. I knew that BP will be in a weird position when I saw gear crates in it for extraction type mode. This one is leaving economy in a really weird place. We have good players that have plenty of resources (typical snowball effect in extraction type shooters, which is understandable), then you have average players who bought BP and got a lot of resources on their hands and in the end you have your pleb F2P players who even if have average abilities will progress worse, just because they will miss the boost from BP gear. Not a fan of dividing 2nd and 3rd group with a wall, that is named "who paid more?" and is not dependant on skill. Solo playlist? Really? Game is built around teams of three. I know that matchmaking with randoms is awful, but it is a team based extraction hero shooter. Within its origins, you should cooperate with others and team composition should matter. If solo playlist would eventually happen, it would divide playerbase into regular and solo, which would probably need more adjustments, like dealing with bosses etc and players would like to tone them down into solo experience probably. Not a great idea. Locking Operator, so he cant be picked up by somebody else in team is a TERRIBLE idea. This prevents players from doing their missions, which require specific class/ op (and would need entire revamp of missions/ daillies/ quests that already are in game) and would block players from using their favourite one, just because smb picked him first. Solution to your argument would be balancing Ops out, so you wont get 3x recon arrows or 3x medics in opposite teams. Since closed tests me and my friends were vocal about few of those. Recon arrow needs muuuch longer CD (and probably range nerf as well) to make it, so you are using in crucial moment (like before/ during fight or in decisive moment), not all of them. Having 2x charges of Shock arrows/ Frag grenades is insane. The amount of area denial/ broken armours and limbs they can do is absolutely insane. Medic pistol should be working great for healing teammates, but not as effective on himself. Thats a solid start. Having a nerf on Hackclaw's drone before nerfing Luna's kit or grenades in general is bonkers. Last, but not least - wipes. Not having a a gear/ missions wipe every few months will snowball this game really fast, where players with best stuff, will be winning even more, which will make some maps and quests unplayable if not done relatively early on, where average players will get there. Dont know what to think about it, but it wont work in the long run, so curious to see what will be the solution for it, presented by devs.
I 100% agree about solos. It should be a thing. My only problem with making armor cover all those limbs is that armor becomes OP. Even in Tarkov you can leg meta and kill people quick. But for the average person its hard to consistently shoot people in limbs. It’s almost up there with headshots in difficulty. If someone is standing behind a half wall, you can now only shoot one of the arms at a time. Good luck consistently killing decent players who are aiming at your face or chest. I think it’s something to consider but I would be hesitant in changing it. I don’t think this dying to limb damage happens enough to be an issue. But thats just from me seeing my death screen. It’s either head, chest, or get hit many times everywhere. Which sounds fine. Will see with more games played if my experience changes.
"Super optimized" Yeah yeah it is really super optimized, then why I getting insane amount of fps drops? Like 200-250 fps to 10 fps every single second
The only problem so far that I have with the game is the FPS, it's jumping way too much in warfare mode, from 160ish down to like 30 and back up and so on

i agree, this game is a COD killer. and this game should have been the DMZ COD DID NOT DO, also COD are full of CHEATERS now.

There's no missions anymore so pvp is about all there is. Going in solo vs 3 man teams is the choice you made 🤷♂️

i think ttk depends on what its going for, warzone players will think tarkov ttk is to quick but tarkov players will think ttk in warzone is long.

It’s interesting to think that not so long from now we may have the ability to have AI create custom games for our preferred playing style.
Warzone is a mess and was thinking about switching to this but you can't use your controller even on steam. Im sooo bad on mouse and keyboard but still have fun. Controller thing is holding me back from going full into it
delta force doesn't care what we say, honestly. There has been bugs since day one that needs to be fixed that still hasn't. the vacuum cleaner sound needs to go, random invisible pole at the dam extract, aiming down sights and then coming out of aiming screen pixel lost, switching to ammo means switch not just when it wants to run random ammo through your gun which is noticed during fights, random tabbing through backpack and you start randomly moving all crazy until you get to cancel it again with tabbing, seead's aimbot needs tuning lol, submachine guns damage vs assault rifles is insane. a uzi should not be able to out shoot a car 15 or m4a1 with the same recruit ticket you should not be able to load into a game using a ticket with someone using blue ammo and blue armor. the match making is insane. Also the anti cheat sucks badly.
that is how a looting game works, if you are using a ticket, stay away from the high-value, just loot in the jungle.
i think it should just blackout the arm or leg and require a surgery kit. it shouldn't insta kill you for an arm or leg shot.

The multiplier felt crappy for me idk maybe I’m more used to realistic shooting games but this thing felt like a mobile game.

me and a few friends play operations and for sum reason we will load up and almost load in but then it will send us back to the lobby then we have to rejoin like 4 minutes late, our pc's aren't good
but it runs it well and im sure if it didnt just send us to the lobby we would be in faster
the game doesnt crash, just sends us to the lobby

You 100% lost me at armor covering limbs… if this is a change that is needed, a better option would be decreased damage to limbs that decrease more distally.
When devs will remove SBMM from non-ranked mode this will be my new BF4, but for now... i'll wait

the movement man I have no problem with short ttk but short TTK without movement is baaaad like why can't all characters at least slide give the sliding operator a wall run instead or something nothing like Titanfall 2 it doesn't work in this game but at least a short wallrun
I really can't wait till this comes out on console... I just hope they do a full server wipe when console comes out because if not itll be like a noob trying to play and do missions in DMZ in 2024... all pc players will be geared and have ultimate map knowledge over any console gamer which is bullshit cause PC already has a full ass advantage in fps games.

went into it optimistic, but honestly its kinda disappointing to me. just feels kinda stiff
Game mode recommendation: Squad death match, where Squads can kill other sqauds but they'll have to do the objective at the same time such as capturing the objective and the squads are able to revive each other if a downed teammate doesn't get revived, the respawn timer will increase each time they die as the game gets closer and closer to the end. The squad with the most kills and objective will win the game and this will enhance proper team play amongst squad, this will basically be a battle royale game but a lot less competitive.
I feel like this game mode I recommended is somewhat great for players looking for a middle ground for a somewhat competitive mode, it's not so competitive that players will quit the game if they're not good and it's competitive enough for casual players wanting something slightly more serious

Battle Pass weekly limits is a joke. You pay for the pass and are stopped at weekly level limit. Stupid.
Twitch drops aren't being given is huge issue. Customer service is horrible. I think its a language thing but still no drops and I have tons coming from watching videos on Twitch.
TTK is ok because I like I always have a chance to kill players. I aim at arms and chest. Win a ton of fights that way. They do same thing in other extraction shooters like Arena Breakout Infinite(leg kills are common place) You have to learn what is fastest way to kill others.
Missions are good but not great.
Still waiting for SOLO ONLY mode that Chinese version has.

I play both games to get more rewards. Too many at first now am bored since Battle Pass is at limit for week. Level 23.5 and stopping is kind of crazy.

in Chinese version, they removed the limits in the last week and doubled the exp so everyone can get the final rewards.

I loved dmz, iam not a big pvp player and i treated dmz as a pve mode, with other players as an annoyance.
But once the updates stopped, dmz became pretty much full on pvp.
I dont blame players for pvp, if its all that is left to enjoy the mode, then thats how it is.
But iam after a more tactical extraction game and my options are open!
Sounds like campaign mode is what you're looking for since you just want to shoot bots

The gameplay just doesn't look that great to me. Fired a few shots ran back & took a jab, again & again & again etc Why pick a different skin if you look like default to enemies?? Or did i hear that wrong? Maybe it's more fun to play than to watch
I recommend everyone try stuff for themselves and to not listen to the good or bad things creators say about a game. When I watched DMZ before I played it, it looked boring and something I was not interested in. That changed when I actually played it.

Thats like combination of good, weird and bad takes, all in one.
Optimization is awesome. I havent heard about a singular issue on that matter, so closed tests where close to home, which is awesome. No stutters, crazy desync or anything that is common to CoD. This aspect feels amazing.
Not calling game P2W is rough though. You are literally getting 2x3 secure container for having BP (for season duration) and plenty and I mean PLENTY of stuff that you can either sell on market or will get you fully kitted early on to jump faster into mid-late game. I knew that BP will be in a weird position when I saw gear crates in it for extraction type mode. This one is leaving economy in a really weird place. We have good players that have plenty of resources (typical snowball effect in extraction type shooters, which is understandable), then you have average players who bought BP and got a lot of resources on their hands and in the end you have your pleb F2P players who even if have average abilities will progress worse, just because they will miss the boost from BP gear. Not a fan of dividing 2nd and 3rd group with a wall, that is named "who paid more?" and is not dependant on skill.
Solo playlist? Really? Game is built around teams of three. I know that matchmaking with randoms is awful, but it is a team based extraction hero shooter. Within its origins, you should cooperate with others and team composition should matter. If solo playlist would eventually happen, it would divide playerbase into regular and solo, which would probably need more adjustments, like dealing with bosses etc and players would like to tone them down into solo experience probably. Not a great idea.
Locking Operator, so he cant be picked up by somebody else in team is a TERRIBLE idea. This prevents players from doing their missions, which require specific class/ op (and would need entire revamp of missions/ daillies/ quests that already are in game) and would block players from using their favourite one, just because smb picked him first. Solution to your argument would be balancing Ops out, so you wont get 3x recon arrows or 3x medics in opposite teams. Since closed tests me and my friends were vocal about few of those. Recon arrow needs muuuch longer CD (and probably range nerf as well) to make it, so you are using in crucial moment (like before/ during fight or in decisive moment), not all of them. Having 2x charges of Shock arrows/ Frag grenades is insane. The amount of area denial/ broken armours and limbs they can do is absolutely insane. Medic pistol should be working great for healing teammates, but not as effective on himself. Thats a solid start. Having a nerf on Hackclaw's drone before nerfing Luna's kit or grenades in general is bonkers.
Last, but not least - wipes. Not having a a gear/ missions wipe every few months will snowball this game really fast, where players with best stuff, will be winning even more, which will make some maps and quests unplayable if not done relatively early on, where average players will get there. Dont know what to think about it, but it wont work in the long run, so curious to see what will be the solution for it, presented by devs.
I 100% agree about solos. It should be a thing.
My only problem with making armor cover all those limbs is that armor becomes OP. Even in Tarkov you can leg meta and kill people quick. But for the average person its hard to consistently shoot people in limbs. It’s almost up there with headshots in difficulty. If someone is standing behind a half wall, you can now only shoot one of the arms at a time. Good luck consistently killing decent players who are aiming at your face or chest.
I think it’s something to consider but I would be hesitant in changing it. I don’t think this dying to limb damage happens enough to be an issue. But thats just from me seeing my death screen. It’s either head, chest, or get hit many times everywhere. Which sounds fine.
Will see with more games played if my experience changes.

The only problem so far that I have with the game is the FPS, it's jumping way too much in warfare mode, from 160ish down to like 30 and back up and so on
