I ordered this speedometer off of the website about two weeks ago. Arrived last week. So, the one I recieved is rectangular, not round... I know that sounds petty, but I waited almost two months for the website to restock so I could have a ROUND SPEEDOMETER. So, not only is it rectangular instead of circular, it's also set up for km/h and the odo/trip also only record in kilometers... I live in the USA and have no need for km/h or kilometers in general. The unit also came without any washers to install, so, I went to ACE and dropped $0.60 on a pair. Guess what? The thing won't fit between the hub and fork with washers, so, I had to install it without them. Once all that was done and I took it for a ride, i found it was completely inaccurate. It's accurate up until 15mph/25kmh, after that it says I'm going way faster than I really am. Says I'm going 40+mph/over 60 km/h when I'm really barely going 30mph. My bike has 26inch wheels, which on the website, says it's compatible with. Overall I'm really dissapointed.
even though theyre not accurate they still give you a judge of speed according to traffic .. i have one on all my motorized bikes and always put a new one on a new engine for aprox miles
You said on R side ,towards end of video show installing on left, they can be installed on springer forks but you will need to put a spacer on opposite side so wheel alignment is straight, you may need to replace axle with a longer one so there is plenty of thread to tighten wheel.👍
I have other things hooked up to my motorbike I have a homemade brake light and turn signals and other cool features I'll post it a video up on it soon
Thanks for the tip. I have one coming (bought on eBay for half BB's price) for a springer fork bike. I'll see if it can in fact fit that particular bike. A review on BB for the bike I got said it didn't, but maybe they didn't have the thought to put another washer.
Why does this video say specifically to install inn the right side of the fork, emphasize how important it is to install on the correct side, and then proceed to install it on the left side?
Our apologies for the confusion. This specific unit was sent from the factory to be mounted on the left side of the fork. They typically come ready to be right side mounted, though, with some fiddling they can be mounted to either side. We have been previously notified of the mistake and have since taken actions to produce more accurate and informative videos.

No smaller than 20 inch no bigger than 28 inch, I believe that's what the FAQ on their website says. I think it's pretty much meant for 26inch wheels. And no, there's no way to adjust it
I put this on my 27" motorized bike and it reads too fast for my actual speed. And the odometer reads a half mile as a mile. Or something like that. Is there an adjustment on this to fix it???
Just get a digital speedometer for regular bicycles instead, just a sensor attached to fork and a magnet that goes on your wheel. Very simple and universal
You said it must be installed on the right side, but you are installing on the left as you sit on the bike???? Wouldn't the right fork be on the right side as you are sitting on the bike??? not looking straight at it?
My 66cc skyhawk goes past the 60kmh mark ,the limit here for cars is 50 and I pass them all the time , stock except for expansion chamber and waterproof cdi from bikeberry and no air filter

I bought one from you guys and the dropouts are way too wide even though you mark it for a single speed on your website. Very helpful video. I just have one concern, I have all mag wheels. Can this work with them? Only five fixed spokes, actually the one you guys sell
No because the metal clips to the spokes which turns it to tell you how fast you are going. Mags need a digital speedo. Or phone app.

Could this be adapted to left side? I see the fork piece has an "R" and "L" side.
