- Howzit gang, so on this episode me and Bruddah Lopaka head out to the Windward side. We both get the all-day pass so we are stoked to get the lines wet. I drop in the fishcam multiple times both on the inside and outside of the reef. Some of the best, most interesting footage that I recorded-It caught a hammah-sized O'io chewing my idako legs like it was bubble gum--It catches a huge school of Pualu come in and start snipeing my large tako leg-It catches a pack of hungry o'io tryna mob my baits in the sand and seagrass! Yup if you like fishcam footage this is the episode for you! We Hanapa'a the the usual suspects 😮. Then at the end of the day Bruddah Lo bell starts ringing and has to fight it walking all the way out to the edge of the reef! Wassup braddah. that shout out to your uncle brought back memories about the uncle from waialua that showed me how for tako dive. I miss those days. The days when we would see Hawaiians in waialua and Haleiwa (now aka Haole-iwa). Nice vid look foward to future vids. Aloha
Howzit my Bruddah -yeah I miss those days too-and u right-a lot of the people have changed and moved on since the plantation days, but many of the original ohanas got their roots planted strong 💪🏽 -I’m so proud of those people-and jealous 😫-I wish I still was living down country…much aloha 💯🤙🏽
That first puhi looks like an one’o. Makes great slide bait where I fish, and we’ll typically fillet it, but for the head, I’ll leave some belly attached and just butterfly it. Got my first ulua on one of those fillets. Great vid uncle
