Full Stack 876oz of Silver, 1/10 Gold for 2024

- Wanted to do a full stack video to start the year.
I will keep track of all the silver I add to the stack this year.
This is also the year of 1/10 oz Gold. I want to complete a tube of 20 1/10 gold by the year end, wish me luck.

That is a great looking stack! you have a little of everything. I can see why you want to get more gold and build up a gold stack. Once you have around 1K ounces of silver, it's not a bad idea to think about gold, imo.

Super glad to hear you're going to be stacking some Gold! That's a very respectable stack, especially considering you haven't been doing it that long. I think it took me nearly a decade to get where you are, but then I was starting out with very little money. It's huge progress that you've made though, and even though I'm not a collector, I think everyone should stack in a way that they find satisfying. Sometimes that means you just have to scratch that collecting or numismatic itch. Great stuff...looking forward to the future videos. Thanks for taking the time to lay out your full stack. These sorts of videos don't get done that often anymore, but it's awesome to get a glimpse. Keep stacking!

Great Stack of Silver! I prefer Silver, but do some Gold. Once you get into 1/2 or full ounce Gold, it changes your plan. I just ordered two 10oz Silver Bars, it's been a few months. Stacking regularly is the key, it will add up!

@@Ontariostacker Silver is my main thing. For starting in Gold, I say find a set that you really like the design, and do a 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, and a full ounce of Gold. If you find Kangaroos, whatever you like, that will give you a nice collection, and you can work your way up to the Ounce!

My first coins I got hooked on were the Canada Gold Maple Hologram sets. I would buy the sets, send them off for grading, and sell off as many fractional coins I could to reduce the overall cost of keeping the 1oz coin from the set. I eventually made my way to stacking silver but the hologram gold coins are still my favorite.

It's when you've tried to move house with 2500oz you realise how daft you've been.
Much less than 500oz is more than adequate. I reduced my silver to gold ratio from 40 - 1 to 6 - 1 and found it much more manageable.

New to stacking. What's the best way to find reliable dealers/coin shops in my area? I need a place where I can browse, compare prices, ask questions and look for deals or unusual items...
It’s sounds simple but just a google search of where to buy gold in silver in your area will give you a list of coin shops to start with
Go and check out each store and feel out the place.
Your natural instincts will tell you if the guy or girl can be trusted .
The good ones will always be happy to answer any of your questions ,
